Watt returned to Scenic Garden at six in the evening.

While still in the garden, the rich aroma from the kitchen had already wafted over.

Entering the house, Summer Sutton was setting the table.

The thought of it made Summer feel extremely unbalanced, and when she talked to Watt, her face was full of indignation.

"You applied to Dad’s company?" He turned to look at her, appearing somewhat incredulous.

"And you got rejected?" Watt prolonged his tone, with a hint of intrigue.

"Yeah, do you think those people are blind? What kind of judgment do they have? Am I not outstanding enough, or is my resume unimpressive?" Summer felt even more upset and took another gulp of wine.

Seeing her like this made Watt’s lips twitch slightly.

Glancing at her, he wrapped an arm around her shoulder and patted gently, making Summer think he was going to comfort her. But Watt said, "It’s okay, you’ll continue to get rejected."

"Adrian, why don’t you help me investigate what’s happening with the current person behind Sutton Clan? Even if I can’t go back to Dad’s company, I should at least know the reason, right?"

Watt accidentally choked a little on a piece of meat.

"Investigate who?" As if he hadn’t heard her clearly, he raised his head, looking at her with a hint of disbelief.
