Chapter 1383: Chapter 1483: He’s Still Alive

Adrian is her biological son. Even though Watt is wearing a mask now, it’s impossible for a mother not to have any sense when her own son is standing in front of her.

If he is Adrian, that would explain why he appeared here so early.

He might have been here all night last night, for all we know.

Diana actually had suspected before that Watt might be Adrian, but when she claimed Adrian’s body, she personally went in to identify it. The airline involved also conducted a genetic test, confirming that the person she initially saw was indeed Adrian.

"What’s wrong?" Ryan’s voice echoed again beside her.

Noticing her slightly reddened eyes, Ryan was momentarily stunned.

Diana was still lost in thoughts about Watt’s identity. She couldn’t fathom how a genetic test could go wrong, but all of Watt’s actions today made her feel that he resembled Adrian greatly.

Could her son actually still be alive?

Since Adrian’s departure, Diana had been despondent for months, enveloped in sorrow almost every day.

She had almost never considered the possibility that Adrian could still be alive during all these days.

However, Watt’s behavior today gave her hope.

As she pondered, Diana suddenly felt invigorated.

"Aunt!" Ryan couldn’t help but call out to her when he saw her zoning out and not responding.

Diana snapped back to reality, looking at him with reddened eyes, as if she hadn’t heard what he just said.

"Are you okay?" Ryan pointed at her eyes and asked.

Diana was just about to relay what she had come across, but thinking that Watt was avoiding Ryan, she held her tongue just as she was about to speak.

"Oh, it’s nothing. I just thought about Grandpa, and I feel sad. Grandfather still hasn’t woken up, and I’m worried he might not make it." She said, wiping her eyes.

Her explanation was reasonable and appropriate, especially under today’s circumstances, there was nothing amiss.

Ryan didn’t harbor any suspicions and comforted her, saying, "Don’t worry too much; Grandpa is a blessed man, and he’ll be alright."

"I hope so. I’ll go rest for a few hours and grab some things." Diana sighed, stepped past him, and left the ward.

Ryan returned to the room to continue watching over the Old Master.
