GONG HANSEO smiled while watching Seong Kyungmin sleep next to him.
It was very rare for him to wake up first before his husband.
Yes, this man was his husband now.
Our marriage has already been registered, and that makes us legally married.
And that made him happy.
Had I known marriage would bring me this much joy, then I would have accepted Kyungmin Hyung’s marriage proposal earlier.
Now Gong Hanseo felt silly for hesitating for this long.
I should have trusted Kyungmin Hyung wholly from the beginning.
"You’re already awake, babe?"
Oh, Seong Kyungmin was finally awake.
"It’s more like I wasn’t able to sleep properly," Gong Hanseo explained, smiling. "Good morning, honey."
Seong Kyungmin’s eyes widened, clearly surprised.
Pleasantly surprised, to be precise.
"What did you just call me, Hanseo-ya?"
"Honey," Gong Hanseo said, blushing. Now that he was calling Seog Kyungmin by that pet name, he couldn’t help but feel shy. "Can I call you ’honey’ now that we’re married?"
Seong Kyungmin immediately got up and hugged Gong Hanseo tightly. "I’d love that," he said, placing a soft kiss on Gong Hanseo’s neck. "Honey."

"I’M GOING to have dinner with my parents later."
Gong Hanseo wouldn’t say that he was surprised when Seong Kyungmin announced, during breakfast, that he would meet his parents.
His husband had already mentioned that yesterday.
"Are you sure I don’t need to be there, Hyung?"
"I only want you to see and hear nice things, so no. You don’t need to be there, honey," Seong Kyungmin said while shaking his head. "It’s not going to be a nice dinner anyway."
"Are you going to pick a fight with your parents?"
"Yeah."
Pfft.
Gong Hanseo chuckled while shaking his head. "Go easy on them, honey. Your parents are of old age already."
"Exactly. They only have a few years left in the world, and yet Eomma still chose to ruin our relationship."
Aigoo.
My husband can really be harsh sometimes.
"That’s why I don’t want you to be there," Seong Kyungmin said. "But if you want to come..."
"No, I don’t want to."
"Yes, I figured," Seong Kyungmin said, pausing for a moment. "And I’m also planning to talk to Kang Daeho. You can come with me if you want, of course. Just please excuse it if I don’t act like a gentleman."
"I don’t want you to act like a gentleman towards Daeho Hyung."
"Alright, I got it. So, are you coming with me?"
"No," Gong Hanseo answered while shaking his head. "Please show Daeho Hyung that I’m not controlling you. That you’re rejecting him because you’re not interested in him in any way, and not only because you already have me. I believe that’s enough to put him in his place."
"I’ll do that, honey," Seong Kyungmin said while nodding. "You can trust me."
"I trust you."
"Thank you," Seong Kyungmin said, pausing for a moment. "What are you going to do today?"
"I’m going to hang out with Garam and ask for advice. I kind of feel overwhelmed planning the wedding."
"That’s why I told you that we can hire a team of wedding organizers."
"We can do that later. I want to handle the basic preparations on my own."
"But I don’t want you getting stressed, honey."
"I’ll stop when I start getting stressed," Gong Hanseo said, smiling. "But, for now, I’m having fun."
Seong Kyungmin smiled and nodded. "Alright. Do what you want, honey."

"EOMMA, ABEOJI, I’ll have you know that Gong Hanseo and I have already registered our marriage," Seong Kyungmin said bluntly while in the middle of having dinner with his parents. He visited them at home to drop the good news. "We’re legally married now."
His father, as expected, didn’t react much.
His mother, on the other hand...
"Have you truly lost your mind, Kyungmin-ah—"
"I’ve also changed my will," Seong Kyungmin announced, cutting off his mother. "If something happens to me, Gong Hanseo will inherit everything I own. In fact, I have already started putting some of my properties under his name."
"Seong Kyungmin!"
"Eomma, how dare you suggest to my husband that he should let me conceive a baby with Kang Daeho?" Seong Kyungmin asked bitterly while glaring at his mother, who suddenly went pale from shock. "I’ll never forgive you for that. I only came here to tell you that this will be the last time I’m talking to you. You’re not invited to my wedding, and you’re not allowed to come near my husband again."
His mother was about to talk back.
Fortunately, his father stopped his mother this time.
Hence, his mother was forced to keep her mouth shut.
"I don’t know what kind of silly ideas you’ve put in Kang Daeho’s head. But I’m telling you now— it won’t work. I don’t care about that person, and I can live without adopting his baby. I’m only doing what Gong Hanseo wants to keep him happy," Seong Kyungmin said coldly. This was the part of him that he didn’t want to show his husband. After all, he didn’t want Gong Hanseo to fear him. "If my husband and I decide to another child in the future, you’ll never get to meet them. Not that you’re interested in meeting children who don’t share my blood."
After saying his peace, he was about to get up.
But he stopped from walking away when his father spoke.
"I’d like to attend your wedding, son."
His mother looked at his father in disbelief.
Eomma probably feels betrayed because Abeoji took my side.
However, his father ignored his mother and continued talking to Seong Kyungmin.
"And I’d like to meet your future children, too."
His father had always been supportive of his relationship with Gong Hanseo, so he didn’t mind if his father remained a part of his life.
However...
"It’s up to my husband, Abeoji," Seong Kyungmin said curtly. "I’ll ask him first."
