"WHAT should we do, Hyung? Everything tastes good..."

It was such a happy problem, of course.

Gong Hanseo and Seong Kyungmin were at the hotel they had booked for their wedding.

The hotel in question was Hotel Haneul.

Yes, the one owned by SG Group.

We have a feeling that Song Sihyuk-ssi would throw a tantrum if we didn’t choose his hotel as our wedding venue.

Anyway...

Right now, Gong Hanseo and Seong Kyungmin were having a taste of the dishes offered by the catering services in charge of their wedding luncheon.

Yes, it was a food tasting session.

Booking the wedding hall at Hotel Haneul came with a dedicated catering team that would help them create and customize the menu for the occasion. That particular catering service was known for providing elegant dining experiences, which included offering curated entrée options.

Like the prime beef tenderloin and butter-sauteed abalone that we just had.

Aside from the menu, the catering team was also in charge of everything— from venue styling to table settings.

They’re known for producing lavish banquets, so I’m not worried about that part.

"Then let’s include everything in the menu," Seong Kyungmin said casually. "There’s no such thing as ’too much food’ when it comes to our special day."

"It’s not that, Hyung," Gong Hanseo complained lightly. "I want the menu to be perfect, from the appetizer to the dessert. Each dish should complement the others. And I want it to fit the season. We can’t just put everything on the menu. Plus, I want to accommodate our guests as much as possible. Like, if there are vegans. Or if people are allergic to certain foods."

They only had a few guests, so it should be possible.

"I get that you want our guests to have a good time as they celebrate our special day with us, but please don’t forget that our wedding is your big day, honey," Seong Kyungmin reminded him gently. "So, I’d like it if you prioritized what you want instead of considering the comfort of our guests."

"I’m already doing that, Hyung. You worry too much."

"Well, that’s something I can’t control. I’ll worry about you for every little thing. And it’s actually a hobby of mine at this point."

"What a weird hobby."

Seong Kyungmin just chuckled, but he instantly got serious when his phone rang. "It’s my secretary."

"Go ahead and answer it."

His fiancé just nodded before picking up the call.

"What is it?"

Aigoo.

Gong Hanseo would never get used to how Seong Kyungmin sounded indifferent when talking to other people.

Hyung is always sweet and gentle to me, even when we’re fighting.

"Alright, we’ll be there."

’We?’

Gong Hanseo turned to Seong Kyungmin, and the timing was only right because the Alpha was already done with his phone call. "Are we going somewhere, Hyung?"

"My secretary said Kang Daeho is already in labor," Seong Kyungmin said, causing Gong Hanseo to gasp. "Apparently, Kang Daeho wants to talk to us."

***

GONG HANSEO was still upset with Kang Daeho.

However, seeing his sunbae in that state made his heart waver a little.

He looks so pale...

"Hyung..."

"I’m fine," Kang Daeho said weakly. "You’re really kind, Hanseo-ya. How can you still care about me after all the terrible things I did to you?"

"I know, right?" Seong Kyungmin agreed with Kang Daeho. "My honey is really kind."

Gong Hanseo ignored his fiancé while gently wiping the sweat on Kang Daeho’s forehead using his handkerchief. "It probably hurts now, doesn’t it?"

"I can still manage the pain, and that’s why I want to talk to you now," Kang Daeho said weakly. "As expected, I still don’t want this child."

Oh.

"I know I don’t have to say this because I already signed the contract, so you have the custody of my baby. Even so, I still want to say that I’m entrusting the child to you and Kyungmin-ssi," Kang Daeho said, and he sounded sincere. "Hanseo-ya, I’m sorry. I’ve lost my mind for a moment. You don’t have to forgive me, of course. And I know our connection will end the moment I give birth to the child, so I’m apologizing now."

"It’s not that hard to forgive you, Hyung," Gong Hanseo said. "However, that doesn’t mean I’ll forget the things you did. I’ll always remember them. That’s why I can’t trust you anymore."

"That’s enough for me."

"Hyung, stay strong. I want you and the baby to be both safe after this. Despite everything that happened, I still don’t want anything bad to happen to you."

Kang Daeho smiled and nodded. "Thank you, Hanseo-ya."

"You don’t have to thank me."

"I will deliver your baby safe and sound, no matter what," Kang Daeho promised. "I told the doctors that I don’t want to see the child once she’s born, so I won’t get to say goodbye to her. However, I know that she’ll be in good hands. I know I don’t have the right to say this, and I know I really don’t have to say this, but please give her a good life. Give her all the love that I can’t give her. Please give her the kind of family that she deserves."

Gong Hanseo felt a lump in his throat.

Yes, he already lost affection towards Kang Daeho. But hearing his sunbae say his heartfelt wishes for the child that he refused to even see made him emotional.

Daeho Hyung made a tough choice.

Gong Hanseo only realized that he was crying when Seong Kyungmin gently wiped his tears.

He was glad that his fiancé was there for him.

"Daeho Hyung, we will raise our baby with love, and we will give her all the fine things in life. For now, let’s focus on your delivery. We want you to be safe, too," Gong Hanseo promised. "Hang in there, Hyung."

***

AN HOUR later, Kang Daeho gave birth to a healthy baby girl through C-section.

All male Omegas give birth to their babies that way.

"Kyungmin Hyung, that’s our baby," Gong Hanseo said, looking at their baby on the other side of the glass window. "She’s so lovely."

There were other babies in the newborn nursery room.

Thankfully, their baby was placed in the front row.

And their daughter was asleep in the hospital bassinets— just like the other babies in the nursery room.

"Yes, our daughter is lovely," Seong Kyungmin agreed. "Just like the name that you chose for her, honey."

Seong Hyesu.’

That was the name of their lovely daughter.

"Seong Hyesu," Gong Hanseo said, smiling. "Welcome to the family."

"Hyesu-ya, we are your parents," Seong Kyungmin said, hugging Gong Hanseo from behind. "Your dad and I can’t wait to bring you home."

***

"HONEY, are you tired?"

Garam received Song Sihyuk’s kiss, but he didn’t open his eyes.

More like he couldn’t, as he was really sleepy.

Their bed was warm and comfortable, so it was hard to fight the sleepiness. Especially after spending the day playing with his energetic son.

Gunwoo acts mature most of the time, but he’s still a child deep inside.

"Since you seem tired, let’s just visit the hospital tomorrow."

"Hospital?"

"Seong Kyungmin and Gong Hanseo’s daughter was already born."

What?!

Garam immediately opened his eyes and got up, grabbing his phone from the bedside table.

Only then did he see the missed calls and unread messages from Gong Hanseo.

I must have missed it because I was asleep...!

Then he checked his hyung’s last message.

It was a picture of a baby girl wrapped in a pink cloth.

Gong Hanseo’s message was simple: <"Meet Seong Hyesu, our pride and joy.">

Aww.

"Hyung, let’s go," Garam said excitedly, grabbing Seong Sihyuk by the arm. "I wanna see Hanseo Hyung’s baby girl!"
