Seducing the Guideverse With My System — Raising an Anomaly [BL]
Chapter 294: _A Vision of ExtinctionInside The Purple Rift
Within the hidden elven pocket dimension, the queen’s eyes opened. A small bead of blood trailed down her right nostril, but she merely wiped it off with the back of her hand.
Trinity and the other Hunters stood in front of her in silence. The elven queen had offered to reach out to someone on their planet telepathically.
To warn them of the impending doom.
From the expression on her face, they could guess she was successful.
"W-Well?" Corbin was the first to dare speak up. "Did you find someone to reach out to?"
The elven queen blinked a few times. Then she turned to her daughter. She muttered something in the elven tongue, making the Hunters exchange uneasy glances.
"Is something wrong?" Trinity found herself asking. "If it wasn’t successful we could just—"
"Of course, it was a success," the queen cut her short, rising to her feet in a graceful way that made her platinum hair sway. "I managed to reach into the mind of someone... really powerful. I was merely telling my daughter how surprised I am that humanity has someone that powerful."
Corbin huffed with relief. "That must be Hunter Gabriel." He swerved to Trinity. "He’ll definitely be able to pick us out of here. That beast won’t stand a—"
"He?" The elven queen arched her brow. "No, the one I connected with was female."
Silence.
Trinity opened and closed her mouth, forehead wrinkling. Other than Hunter Gabriel, she couldn’t think of any other human who could fit the description of "really powerful".
"A-Are you sure it was someone right across the Rift?" Corbin still questioned. "And you said you’re surprised by Earth’s strength. W-What if we had more people just like this woman you reached out to? Could we stand more of a chance against the Devourer?"
"Dude, you’re asking way too many questions." A female Hunter bumped him with her elbow.
The elven queen heard despite her whispering. "He’s asking the right questions." Her hands were nestled on her stomach, those emerald eyes focusing on all the Hunters. "I wish it were that simple. I once had a council of elves equal to this one woman’s power."
Those words made Trinity’s eyes widen slightly.
Assuming the person the queen connected with was an SS-Rank then an entire council of those...
"They were all consumed." The queen dropped the bomb, her tone regretful. "I do hope my warning was enough to give your people a chance to at least prepare for the inevitable."
Trinity’s stomach twisted.
The queen gave them one last look before turning away. The elven princess stared pitifully at them before sticking to her mother’s side.
"Wait!" Trinity called out, taking a couple of steps forward. That made the elves pause without looking back. "Your Majesty. I-I have one last request to make."

"Kali?" Wukong grabbed her shoulder, pulling her away from the Rift. "What’s the matter? Did you see something?"
She was still shaken from the sudden vision. It was unlike anything she had ever felt. This one wasn’t... a natural slip from the sea of time.
Someone was trying to show her something. Someone from within the Rift.
"I saw..." Kali swallowed, forcing herself to steady her breathing. "The creature inside."
Wukong’s playful expression vanished completely.
"It broke through the Rift," she continued, every word feeling heavier than the last. "It came into our world and... there was barely a battle."
Gabriel frowned, his attention never leaving the Spatial Lock surrounding the Purple Rift.
"There was only feeding."
Silence spread between them.
"I watched entire cities disappear." Kali’s gaze drifted to the pulsating membrane beyond Gabriel’s barrier. "I watched the Earth crack apart beneath it while every living thing was consumed."
Even Wukong’s jaw tightened.
"And I’m certain of one thing," she added quietly. "Someone sent me that vision. It wasn’t born from the Sea of Time."
Gabriel finally looked away from the Rift. "You’re saying someone inside reached your mind?"
Kali nodded. "But it wasn’t one of the Hunters."
Before anyone could respond, several ravens swept silently over the military barricades.
The soldiers nearest the perimeter immediately raised their weapons.
"What the hell—?"
The flock descended between the parked armoured vehicles before collapsing into a whirl of black feathers.
Within seconds, the feathers folded into the familiar hooded figure of Loki, who brushed an imaginary speck of dust from their sleeve as though transforming from birds into a person was the most natural thing in the world.
At almost the same time, a blinding golden radiance descended from the sky.
Hunters instinctively shielded their eyes as Apollo landed with effortless grace, the light surrounding him fading until only his hooded silhouette remained.
Not far behind him, a levitating sphere of crystal-clear water drifted over the barricades.
The water slowly unfolded like blooming petals before setting a hooded Yemoja gently upon the ground.
The surrounding Hunters erupted into confused murmurs.
"Who are they?"
"How did they get past security?"
"Are these people still with Hunter Gabriel?"
None of the hooded figures acknowledged them. They simply approached Gabriel, Kali and Wukong as though the bewildered Federation forces didn’t exist.
Apollo’s attention settled on Kali almost immediately. "You’ve seen something."
She gave a slow nod.
"I saw Earth’s extinction." Her voice remained calm despite the horror lingering behind it. "And whoever showed it to me wasn’t human. Nor were they one of the Hunters trapped inside."
Apollo frowned beneath his hood.
"An intelligent being capable of projecting visions beyond the confines of an S-Rank Rift..." he murmured. "That alone changes everything."
Loki gave a dry scoff.
"With respect, Apollo," they folded their arms, "everything that’s happened already made it painfully obvious this stopped being a mere S-Rank Rift situation hours ago."
No one argued.
Yemoja quietly stepped toward Gabriel’s Spatial Lock, her fingers hovering inches from its crystalline surface. The barrier vibrated beneath her touch.
Her eyes narrowed. "It isn’t merely expanding," she whispered. "It’s pushing."
Almost on cue...
CRACK!
A fresh fracture spread across the Spatial Lock.
CRACK.
A second one snaked across.
Gabriel’s breathing became noticeably heavier as he poured more and more aether into maintaining the barrier.
"Stand back!" He warned Yemoja, hands trembling violently.
For the briefest moment, an image flashed through his mind.
Ambrose.
’I’ve wanted nothing but to see your face again all these... days.’ he gritted his teeth until they nearly shattered at the roots. ’Now I’m not so sure I want you coming back. Not with this new insanity.’
