Slowly Falling into His Love Trap

Chapter 683: Your Husband Is Very Strong

Looking at Caden Lockwood’s fierce expression, Evelyn Morgan couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

Her husband, in every way perfect, except... he’s too jealous!

"Last night when you touched me, you didn’t seem to remember I was a patient," Evelyn mumbled softly, "You manage to turn everything to your advantage!"

"Now that you know your husband is this formidable, don’t go against me," Caden reached out and tapped Evelyn’s forehead, "I’m off to work, and by the way, I need you to break a spell, there’s something you need to do at noon."

"A spell?" Evelyn exclaimed in surprise, pointing to herself, "Me?"

"Didn’t you notice?" Caden lowered his eyes, "Every time you come to the company to bring me lunch, it seems I never get to eat it, and it always leads to a big misunderstanding."

"You..." Evelyn blinked, "know all about it?"

Caden nodded, moved closer to Evelyn, pulled her into his arms, and in a deep voice said, "Bring me lunch at noon today, it’s okay if you don’t make it yourself, Aunt May will do. Lunch break at the company."

He clearly had everything planned out.

As he finished speaking, he placed a light kiss on her forehead, then turned and left.

Watching Caden’s back, Evelyn touched her forehead, her lips curling into a slight smile uncontrollably.

Clearly there wasn’t much time left until the meal, yet he insisted on going to the office and having her bring lunch over.

After spending so much time together, Evelyn finally realized Caden indeed had a childlike temperament!

But why does she particularly like his childish temperament?

The scene from last night’s intimacy involuntarily flashed through her mind. Evelyn subconsciously touched her belly; last night, during their encounter, they hadn’t taken any precautions!

Does that mean... she’s really going to be pregnant and become a mother soon?

Her heart swelled with intense joy, her cheeks flushed, and she hurriedly covered her face, her heart pounding wildly, "thump thump," filled with sweetness, she couldn’t help but laugh.

Lying on the sofa, Evelyn found herself indeed tired, closed her eyes to nap, preparing to deliver the meal to Caden once Aunt May was finished cooking.

When Caden arrived at the company, there were several urgent documents to handle. Gathering a few key executives for a meeting, he immediately plunged into work.

After the meeting, Sean Ashton whispered in Caden’s ear, "Miss Eleanor Keaton has been waiting in the office for you for a long time."

Caden’s brow furrowed tightly, if not for Julian Keaton’s sake, he wouldn’t spare Eleanor Keaton even a bit of sympathy.

Entering the office, Caden merely cast a cold glance at Eleanor before taking his seat to continue with his work.

Eleanor was treated as though she was air, utterly ignored.

"Brother Caden." The light in Eleanor’s eyes remained dim, "I’ve come today for the last time in the name of a woman who loves you, so please, talk to me, will you?"

Caden’s face remained dark, still showing no intention of speaking.

Eleanor clenched her fists tightly, tears welling up in her eyes, her heart wrenching as if being torn apart, bloodstained.

"At the villa, I was already so close to you, yet you told me that, on the contrary, I put out the fire in your body, that without Evelyn Morgan, you have no interest at all," Eleanor spoke, her voice filled with sorrow.
