The Great Monkey of Destruction had not arrived alone.
Behind him, another figure gradually emerged from the black hole of destruction.
This newcomer was a horned overlord with flowing red hair. Crossing his arms over his chest, he calmly surveyed the battlefield.
He was not the Bull King.
Compared to the savage and brutal impression given by the Bull King, this creature was far more handsome. Even the bull horns on his head were slimmer and more elegant.
The law power radiating from both of these formidable overlords was overwhelming.
The moment they descended into the Mortewigen Star Domain, the Gallant Federation legions that had been approaching immediately began to retreat.
Clearly, the Gallant Federation had already recognized their strength and identities.
Once the gap in strength grew too vast, staying behind became meaningless. They would no longer be defending the federation’s territory, but merely throwing away their lives.
Unfortunately, the monkey overlord and the red-haired bull overlord had no intention of letting them escape.
A massive pitch-black metal staff suddenly appeared in the monkey’s hand.
The Great Monkey of Destruction was truly absurdly wealthy.
By this point, he had already revealed several world-class secret treasures, and every single one of them was of exceptional quality.
The enormous staff in his hand, the lotus throne beneath his feet, and the golden circlet around his head were all high-quality world-class secret treasures that would make most overlords green with envy.
And that was not all.
The Dark-Golden Chainmail on his body, the Cloud-Stepping Boots on his feet, the Phoenix Feather Golden Crown, and the Crimson Lotus Cloak draped behind him were all world-class secret treasures as well!
Indeed, a truly formidable overlord required such adornment.
Being overwhelmingly powerful was not enough. One also needed the support of treasures worthy of that power.
In terms of individual combat power, this terrifying monkey overlord, who had suddenly descended upon the Gallant Federation’s battlefield, was most likely the strongest being currently present in this main theater of the civilizational war.
When Destruction Spring descended, the Gallant Federation had at least dispatched a fleet to intercept and engage him.
But when the Great Monkey of Destruction appeared, their first reaction was to evade him and flee.
Sometimes, the disparity in strength could be seen from the enemy’s response alone.
Wrapped in raging pitch-black flames of destruction, the colossal metal staff in the monkey overlord’s hand swept toward the Gallant Federation fleet that had failed to retreat in time.
Before the staff even reached the fleet, a chain of violent explosions had already erupted among the warships.
Blazing fire and pitch-black flames of destruction instantly engulfed the surrounding starry sky.
Even several nearby demiplanes and artificial planets began to tremble under the Great Monkey of Destruction’s unmatched power. Some even showed signs of collapsing outright.
One enormous artificial planet belonging to the Gallant Federation was caught in the impact and knocked violently out of its original orbit, hurtling uncontrollably into the depths of space.
A layer of dark red flames ignited across its surface.
The moment those flames appeared, more than ninety-nine percent of the lower-level lifeforms living on that artificial planet were reduced to ashes.
The Great Monkey of Destruction was not the only one to make a move.
As the artificial planet flew away, a strange red glow suddenly appeared across its surface.
In the next instant, the planet abruptly changed direction and shot toward the red-haired bull overlord.
As it flew, a peculiar spatial law took hold of it. The enormous artificial planet rapidly shrank, growing smaller and smaller until it finally landed in the bull overlord’s palm, spinning above his palm.
Under the bull overlord’s control, strange red law power surged outward, swiftly engulfing a vast portion of the surrounding battlefield.
He merely clenched his right hand and pulled.
In an instant, a vast fleet of Gallant Federation warships was dragged violently off course, plunging uncontrollably through the starry sky.
In terms of visual impact and sheer destructive force, the spectacle created by this bull overlord was not as overwhelming as the devastation unleashed by the Great Monkey of Destruction.
Yet its effects were no less terrifying.
Many federal commanders probably had no idea what they were even facing before their consciousness was extinguished and their lives came to an end.
In the bull overlord’s hand, the silver artificial planet spun rapidly. It was the very same planet that had been sent flying just moments earlier.
In that moment, the terrifying might of an overlord was revealed in all its glory. Plucking stars from the heavens and crushing lesser beings seemed effortless.
As the surrounding starry sky transformed into a dazzling sea of fire, the Destruction Legion and the Yao Clan Army behind the two overlords finally emerged together.
In truth, however, the two overlords had already handled nearly everything themselves.
At this point, the lower-level legions following behind them seemed more like spectators rushing in to cheer them on.
The so-called Destruction Legion was mostly composed of black-furred monkeys that bore a striking resemblance to the Great Monkey of Destruction.
The Yao Clan Army, on the other hand, was a truly motley host, made up of creatures of every imaginable kind.
Many among their ranks carried enormous banners.
Across those great banners, two titles stood out in bold, sweeping calligraphy.
Great Sage Equal to Heaven.
Great Sage of Demonic Heaven.
“When are Old Bull and the others arriving?” the Great Monkey of Destruction asked, casually resting the enormous staff wreathed in black flames of destruction on his shoulder.
The red-haired bull overlord was still toying with the artificial planet in his hand.
“They’ll be a little late,” he replied. “They began their preparations later than we did. Besides, you know what those Yao Clan legions are like. They are a mixed bunch.”
Although the bull overlord and the monkey commonly acted as representatives of the Yao Clan and both bore the title of Great Sage, the Yao Clan beings of the Immortal Realm Civilization were, in truth, far less disciplined than the human race or the disciples of the Buddhist and Daoist factions.
The Great Sages themselves had always lived free and unfettered lives. Naturally, they had little interest in imposing strict discipline upon the lesser yaos under their command.
Among the entire Yao Clan, the only faction capable of rivaling the elite armies of the Daoist Immortal Court was the Ancient Yao Court reestablished by Emperor Luya.
Emperor Luya possessed the form of a Three-Legged Golden Crow. He wielded the high-tier world-class secret treasure known as the Chaos Bell, as well as formidable treasures such as the Immortal-Slaying Flying Daggers and the Nailhead Seven Arrows Book.
He was undoubtedly one of the few peak powerhouses of the entire Immortal Realm Civilization.
However, within the Yao Clan, Emperor Luya and figures such as the Great Sage Equal to Heaven were not of the same camp.
Likewise, the Great Sages had never gotten along particularly well with the Three Yao Kings of Lion Camel Ridge.
Each of the Great Sages had their own allies and powerful supporters. The Great Sage Equal to Heaven, in particular, had always maintained close ties with the Buddhist faction.
Even so, in his daily dealings, he still preferred Nuwa Palace.
After all, Sage Nuwa had never pressured him into doing anything for the sake of personal gain.
The Buddhist faction had treated him well too, but more often than not, those monks still acted with their own interests in mind.
In this world, people who were truly selfless were simply too rare.
“Where do we go next?” the red-haired bull overlord asked.
After toying with the artificial planet to his heart’s content, he casually crushed it in his palm. A wisp of eerie red energy immediately seeped out from its shattered remains.
The Great Monkey of Destruction lifted the massive metal staff from his shoulder and casually pointed it in a direction.
That direction led straight into the heart of the Gallant Federation.
“Let us start there,” the Great Monkey of Destruction said. “No matter where we go, there will be a fight waiting for us.”
As a wielder of the power of destruction, this monkey seemed to have been born for battle from the very beginning.
The Buddhist faction of the Immortal Realm had bestowed upon him the title of “Victorious Fighting Buddha”. As for Sage Nuwa, she would sometimes call him “Stubborn Rock” whenever he caused trouble.
Over the past hundred thousand years, the greatest commotion caused by the Great Sage Equal to Heaven had been when he turned the Reincarnation Underworld of Primordial World upside down.
Apparently, it had all been for the sake of a woman.
Yet in the end, neither the Reincarnation Underworld nor the other Great Sages of the Immortal Realm had taken any action against him.
Indeed, strength was the foundation of everything.
Compared to the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, whose thirst for battle bordered on madness, Li Qingshan, the Great Sage of Demonic Heaven, conducted himself with far greater composure.
He had no powerful background, nor did he possess any deep ties to the major Daoist Courts of the Immortal Realm.
And yet, he had climbed step by step to his current position. That alone was proof of his ability.
The reason he had accompanied the monkey to join the Magus Civilization’s war was to repay a karmic debt.
Both he and the monkey owed the Magus Civilization an enormous debt.
More precisely, they were both disciples of the Rank Nine powerhouse from the Magus Civilization’s previous generation.
One had inherited the Path of Destruction, while the other had inherited the Path of Emotion.
The two of them were truly the mightiest external reinforcements left behind by that Rank Nine powerhouse.
The red-haired bull overlord, Li Qingshan, looked in the direction the monkey had pointed, then nodded.
“Very well. Let us start there.”
