Spirit Ruin, Sword Coffin, Blind Swordsman
Chapter 915: Undercurrents SurgeXiang Huaizhi’s breathing remained steady. Without even blinking, he reached up and carved out the rotting flesh on his chest, then sneered. “It’s been far too long since I last fought. Now even trash like you dares bark at me.”
As he spoke, the long blade in his hand dispersed, replaced by an eight-chi spear of flame. Gripping the spear with both hands, Xiang Huaizhi assumed the Cloud Step opening stance and shot forward like a bolt loosed from a siege crossbow.
The white-masked man’s heart trembled. Before the spear even arrived, its pressure had already crushed the surrounding void out of shape.
He grabbed the black-masked man by the neck and flung him backward, crushing a jade talisman at the same time. A vast torrent of pure demonic qi erupted as he said rapidly, “I’ll hold him off. Heal quickly!”
The words had barely left his mouth when the spear struck. Xiang Huaizhi had yet to arrive, but his spear did, driving straight for the man’s heart and leaving him no chance to evade.
The spearhead slammed into the back of the white-masked man’s blade, sending him flying more than a thousand zhang.
Xiang Huaizhi threw back his head and laughed. “What will you stop me with? Courage?”
Boom!
Spear light erupted, and blazing crimson flames engulfed the white-masked man.
Still shaken, the black-masked man barely managed to deflect the incoming crimson spear with his trembling short blade.
Xiang Huaizhi seemed to have anticipated his response. With a flick of his wrist, he snapped the ribbon like a whip, and the tethered spear reversed direction and shot back.
Under Xiang Huaizhi’s one-sided suppression, even the Sha organization’s Liang-tier assassins were helpless. The cultivators being slaughtered below were not so fortunate.
Blood drenched the mountains, only to be drained away by the array.
More and more cultivators were being corrupted by the demonic qi. The battle was growing increasingly unfavorable for the cultivators of the Six Territories.

In the Purple Spirit Paradise Realm, a muscle twitched in Li Guanqi’s cheek, and his fingers involuntarily stiffened.
He stood before the Heavenly Intelligence Map with his hands hidden in his sleeves. Watching the situation shift before him, he murmured, “Still not making your move?”
He knew it would be exceedingly difficult to locate Sha this way. Besides, as long as he remained inside the Daxia Sword Sect, the enemy would have few chances to act.
Just then, Li Guanqi sent a message to Peng Luo. In response, the small, knee-high Peng Luo flew out immediately.
“I’ll go check on them again,” Peng Luo said solemnly.
Li Guanqi nodded and fell silent.
Peng Luo did not enter the domain fragments to find Ye Feng and the others. Instead, he gritted his teeth at the edge of the lightning pool and stepped inside.

Inside a grand hall hidden in the void, a red-robed man paced slowly. Behind him loomed a rack a hundred zhang tall, densely packed with black Soul-Sealing Bells.
One by one, the filled bells were placed on the upper shelves. The man’s lips curled slightly.
He turned and took out a pitch-black ancient lamp from his robe.
Buzz!
“Leader, you called for me?”
Sha’s eyes flickered as he looked down at the woman kneeling before him.
The next moment, Song Zhi’ang crumpled to the floor in agony, a black flower blooming between her brows.
Sha finally smiled faintly. He tossed her the ancient lamp and said, “Take this and leave. I’ll tell you where to go shortly. Remember, no one else can know about this.”
Song Zhi’ang’s forehead was covered in cold sweat. When she took the ancient lamp with both hands, her eyes flickered with uncertainty. After putting it away, she nodded solemnly. “I understand.”
Just as she was about to leave, Sha said, “Handle this well. Once it’s done, I’ll let you reach the Combined Body Realm as soon as possible.”
Song Zhi’ang’s eyes lit up. She transformed into a streak of black flame and vanished from the hall.
Alone in the empty hall, Sha sat on his throne, and his eyes gleamed. He murmured in a voice only he could hear, “What a nuisance... I didn’t expect Xiang Huaizhi to be this strong. Tch. This time... Hehe.”
The rack behind him suddenly collapsed, and he gathered up more than a thousand Soul-Sealing Bells.
He rose from the throne. “This place has no reason to exist anymore.”
With a flash, Sha vanished from the hall and reappeared in the dungeon. He seized the end of a chain and pulled. Tang Ru, tortured beyond recognition, lay submerged in black water.
He reeked of rotten flesh. Pus oozed from his ulcerated skin, and his four limbs had corroded down to exposed white bone, porous like honeycomb.
Sha whistled casually as he dragged Tang Ru into the void, step by step. Space twisted around them and swallowed them both.

Li Guanqi abruptly withdrew the Heavenly Intelligence Map.
His heart pounded. Tang Ru’s aura!
Somehow, it had pierced the several layers of the grand arrays protecting the Daxia Sword Sect. Those arrays were among the sect’s deepest foundations, and every altar array was at least tier eight. Yet, the aura had still seeped inside the sect.
Li Guanqi’s divine consciousness swept across the entire Daxia Sword Sect. He found an elder and three disciples whose eyes had turned completely black. The seal on one of the sect’s Abyssal Demon rifts had begun to loosen, corrupting them.
Li Guanqi swallowed. Aside from Xi Yunhuai’s reinforcements, Li Guanqi’s own lightning sword formed the core of the seals on the Daxia Sword Sect’s Abyssal Demon rifts. That was why he’d managed to sense Tang Ru’s aura.
He glanced at Ye Xuan, who remained seated atop Heavenly Sword Peak. A lock of hair beside Ye Xuan’s ear stirred in the wind.
Li Guanqi nodded almost imperceptibly and crooked a finger.
The lightning sword qi suspended high above Heavenly Sword Peak shot forward and split into four divine swords.
One sect elder was teaching a class when the pavilion above him exploded.
Boom!
A purple-black lightning sword punched through his skull. The remaining three streaked onward and killed three disciples.
Many disciples recoiled in horror, but they calmed down once they sensed the aura carried by the lightning swords.
The commotion drew the attention of Lu Kangnian and the others. Lu Kangnian had been on edge for days. He hadn’t expected Li Guanqi to abruptly strike with decisive force, especially on such a bright, sunny afternoon.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Lu Kangnian flashed into the open, only for a powerful curtain of lightning to block his path before one of the rear mountain peaks.
Li Guanqi stared at the sword qi seal ahead. It had transformed into a pitch-black demonic sword, and a sharp gleam flashed in his eyes.
Several talismans were affixed over his chest. Their power forced his mind into absolute calm, shielding it from all outside influence. Gu Li had left him quite a few of them.
With Li Guanqi standing at the edge of the Abyssal Demon rift, everyone nearby was on high alert, both inside and outside the Daxia Sword Sect.
Ye Xuan gripped his sword sheath. Meng Jiangchu stood in his dark green armor, killing intent in his eyes.
Beside him, Gu Changsheng narrowed his eyes, his palms slick with nervous sweat.
Tang Wei gripped his sword tightly. At his side stood Qian Ze, his face resolute.
Hong Zhi looked down at the Territory Lord token in her hand. It bore only two characters, forming a single command: Annihilate!
