Fang relayed everything to Elena, the situation on the ground and the fact that abyssal monsters were pouring out of the sky.

She frowned when she heard that, and then stood up from her throne.

"You said Aris is handling it now, right? Then there is not much to panic about. She is chaos, and she can handle much for sure.

The issue is finding out what is happening and why it is happening." She held her chin for a moment and then looked at Fang. "Call the guardians. Inform them I want to speak with all of them now." She gave the order, and Fang nodded. He bolted from there at top speed to go find the guardians while she returned to her throne.

"What is found wrong, Dad?" She asked while looking up.

Fang did not take long. He summoned all the guardians, and they arrived right before her with their knees to the ground.

Mary, the orc, looked up after the greeting and then asked.

"What is going on? You called us in a rush."

Elena frowned a bit. "Something is coming, something big. The skies have been rent open, and abyssal monsters are pouring from it.

We must defend our home and ensure that we do not lose it," she explained.

"Abyssal monsters? Does this have something to do with Master?" Selax asked.

"I do not know, but if it does, I'm sure Father will be on his way back to help," she said with certainty.

"He is coming back?" Selax asked and licked her lips, eager to see Silva again. She wanted to get right into him after being away for so long.

"I'm not sure. We can only hope this is something we can stop and contain. If it is not, then we are in for a lot of trouble.

Father's abyss was near boundless. I know that. If these monsters are coming from the same abyss, then this will escalate greatly," she expressed her worry.

"You don't have to worry. We will give our all to ensure that all goes well. Though with how the humans behave now, there is really no want to save them," Selax said.

"But we still have to," Elena said. "Do your best and give your all, for Father."

After that, they all moved out and followed Fang toward the location to find the rift and stop the abyssal monsters.

"Why do you keep doing this?" Ophelia asked as she looked at a white figure in front of her. The figure was barely touching the ground. It carried a presence that filled the room and commanded everything around it.

"What do you mean?" it asked.

"You are Order. You can stop this from destroying my world," Ophelia argued.

"No, I cannot," Order said.

"What the hell do you mean you cannot? You are Order. You can stop the rift." She stepped closer in anger.

"I'm sorry, Ophelia. I can't," Order responded.

When Ophelia heard Order apologize, she froze. She looked at him with confusion in her eyes and a lot of fear.

"What happened, Order? What happened?" She asked, wanting him to speak. She could tell that something had gone wrong to make Order himself begin to apologize.

"Does this have to do with why you are creating the empire? Is the empire meant to serve some sort of purpose that I do not know of? Do the gods know this? What's going on?" She asked, wanting to get a response from Order.

Order went silent for an extended moment, then heaved a sigh.

"I made a miscalculation," he stated.

Her eyes widened when she heard that. She stepped back. "No, that's not possible. You cannot mistake or miscalculate. This entire universe is under you. You have never once made a mistake. Everything flowed by you." She spoke very fast. She could already imagine how grave an issue it would be if Order made a mistake.

"I have made many mistakes, actually. Ones that led to more and more, and I thought that I was Order and I could end up fixing it, but I failed. I could not do it." Order said and then turned around. He looked around the simple, cozy room that she had.

"The reason I wanted to have the Dark Dragon was because of two things. The Dark Dragons are the only beings that have access to the abyss on willpower, and they are the only race that can grow infinitely.

Those were the very two things that I needed the most: control over the abyss and the ability to get even more powerful." He turned around and looked at her.

"The mistake I made was peering into the abyss. I wanted to find Order or establish myself. I was greedy, Ophelia. I dug where I was not meant to dig. I figured that since I was the all-powerful Order, I could easily place my power there and also take control.

I was wrong. Instead, I gave the abyss the coordinates to our universe."

Ophelia had her mouth open at this point. "You are the reason the abyss came," she said in shock.

"Exactly, Ophelia. I was the cause, and I thought that I could handle it after my mistake, but the abyss has already infused itself in our universe. It is eating me and the universe from the inside, and I have no way to stop it. I cannot get stronger, and I cannot control the abyss.

For eons now, I have been losing power over the universe. I am basically dying.

The empire is my final attempt to create something that can fight the abyss. I have poured all my power into the throne of the empire, and all that power is meant to be a guide and the foundation. It holds the entire universe together to stop it from falling into the hands of the abyss.

If my plan fails, the entire universe and everything inside will be devoured by the abyss. What we are seeing now is the result of my actions, and now I am too weak to even help a little bit.
