Lu Yin teleported away, fleeing from the Nine Odysseys. Looking back, he saw the trident appear next to him by teleportation, while a bridge extended out from the Nine Odysseys Megaverse. “Human, where do you think you can run to?”

Death's Dominion badly needed Lu Yin, and they also wanted to take away Green Lotus, but Old Man Hehe was blocking them. The giant skeleton had no choice.

The Divine King was still locked in a stalemate with Mister Mu and Chu Songyun.

As for Green Lotus, he suddenly only had one opponent: Nan Ling.

However, once Lu Yin teleported over, the matchups shifted yet again.

“Senior, are you sure?” Lu Yin asked. Just now, Green Lotus had transmitted his voice over, saying that they should switch opponents, with Green Lotus taking on Ni Bieluo and Lu Yin dealing with Nan Ling.

In truth, this was indeed the most reasonable arrangement. If Nan Ling teleported about while fighting Green Lotus, it would be very difficult for the man to defeat the Plume Immortal. Nan Ling only needed to keep dodging, as their levels of strength were quite close to each other.

Green Lotus had no way to overcome the ability to teleport.

Meanwhile, the difference in combat strength between Lu Yin and Ni Bieluo was far too great. It was extremely difficult for him to hold Ni Bieluo back. Doing so meant genuinely risking his life.

If the two men switched, Green Lotus could face Ni Bieluo, and although the trident might still pursue Lu Yin, Lu Yin could at least restrain Nan Ling. That meant that Green Lotus would no longer be entirely passive.

The Greater Sancte was also confident that he could force Ni Bieluo to retract the trident.

“Absolutely.” Green Lotus turned around. Thousand Faces of Karma, Karmic Heavenwheel. One finger pointed at Ni Bieluo’s bridge.

The bridge instantly collapsed. Ni Bieluo’s voice dropped low. “How arrogant. Against me, only evading might give you the slightest chance to live, and yet you dare to fight me head-on.”

Light flickered over Green Lotus’s palms, causing the void to alternately brighten and dim. Both palms then struck out. “Old thing, I’ll have you die here today.”

Within his palms, the void was compressed enough to contend with the Duality Seal.

The trident stabbed toward Green Lotus.

Lu Yin teleported over in front of Nan Ling. “Scruffy bird, I’ve killed more than one of your kind. Now it’s your turn.”

Nan Ling’s gaze turned vicious. “Do you think that I’m Chang Dou? If I hadn’t held myself back at that time, because I believed that your civilization had hidden supreme experts, I would have destroyed you long ago. I still don’t know how that megaverse descended at the time, but even if that method appears again, I’ll still tear you to pieces.”

Its talons fell. Lu Yin waved a hand, blasting out tri-color divine energy, only for it to be ripped apart by the talons.

Only in direct confrontation could one truly feel the difference in strength. Nan Ling was stronger than both Ming Yu and Chang Dou. When they met the tri-color divine energy, they had been overwhelmed, while Nan Ling could tear it apart.

Of all the supreme powerhouses present, Nan Ling was the weakest, but even so, Lu Yin still could not defeat the bird.

If not for the fact that both Death's Dominion and Ni Bieluo wanted to capture Lu Yin, he would have already been erased.

Nan Ling had no reason to capture him.

“Lu Yin, be careful!” Green Lotus shouted sharply.

Lu Yin teleported away from where he was standing. The trident pierced the void. Ni Bieluo still refused to give up on him.

Green Lotus’s expression fell. Ni Bieluo was even stronger than expected. It seemed that this being was slightly stronger than even Death's Dominion, to the point where it could rival Death's Dominion even when the skeleton unleashed all of their Stillness. This was an existence close to resonating with three cosmic laws.

If Green Lotus did not risk his life, there was no way to force Ni Bieluo to recall its trident.

Looking at Ni Bieluo, Karmic Heavenwheels appeared all around Green Lotus, one after another until there were a thousand of them. Every single Karmic Heavenwheel was condensed from Thousand Faces of Karma. This was a thousand Karmic Heavenwheels formed from compressing the entire Heavenly Karmic Macrocosm. This was after the Heavenly Karmic Macrocosm had fused with Lu Yin’s Karmic Dao. Not even Green Lotus himself had ever unleashed such a terrifying amount of karma before.

The thousand Karmic Heavenwheels bloomed like a lotus opening. Thousand Faces of Karma, Karmic Heavenwheel: Lotus Cannon.

Green Lotus pointed one finger at Ni Bieluo, leaving the being shaken. What terrifying karma. It had also comprehended the power of karma, but it used it solely for karmic designation. Ni Bieluo had not gone very far down the path of karma itself, instead treating it as its species’ absolute means.

This Lotus Cannon left even Ni Bieluo wary. It had no choice but to recall its trident and thrust it forward.

The Lotus Cannon met the trident.

Both were attacks that surpassed the level of two-law Immortals. The collision occurred outside the Nine Odysseys Megaverse, but the shockwaves still caused all three megaverses to tremble, leaving countless people gasping for breath.

Even Death's Dominion’s Stillness was forced back, and the River of Aeons’ branch stream was nearly flung away.

Lu Yin had no time to watch Green Lotus’s battle. Nan Ling was putting far too much pressure on him, and Lu Yin had already been heavily wounded to begin with. He had just been sneak attacked by the trident, and although he had evaded it, he had failed to completely escape Nan Ling’s Godplume Spear. The spear pierced his shoulder, and his blood scattered across outer space.

Nan Ling’s eyes were icy as its Godplume Spear descended again.

Lu Yin stared at the Plume Immortal, but the bird simply refused to meet his gaze, rendering Crow Immobilization useless. However, Lu Yin possessed more than just Crow Immobilization.

It was time.

Heaven’s Sight opened, and intersecting black lines directly surrounded Nan Ling and then began to rotate.

Nan Ling abruptly turned around, much to its shock. What is happening?

It had been avoiding eye contact with Lu Yin, so how could this have happened? Could it be another one of Ten-Eyed Divine Crow’s innate gifts?

Forcing Nan Ling to turn around could do no more than interrupt the bird’s attack. Lu Yin’s true objective was to use Crow Immobilization.

He teleported in the direction that Nan Ling would be forced to face after turning around. Once Nan Ling was forced to turn, it happened to look right at Heaven’s Sight. Crow Immobilization.

Nan Ling was immobilized. It stared at Lu Yin. This human actually possessed two of the Divine Crow’s innate gifts.

Lu Yin had kept this hidden until this moment, not revealing it even during his earlier near-death battles.

Despicable human!

Lu Yin spread both hands open. In one, the power of Stillness gathered to form a blade while tri-color divine energy condensed into a sword in the other as he underwent both transformations at the same time. Within him, the power that had been gathered by Extremes Must Be Reversed fully erupted. Both the blade and the sword slashed down as one, slicing straight into Nan Ling’s body.

The bird screamed, “Human, you’re courting death!”

The two sharp slashes sliced directly into the Plume Immortal’s body and out its back. Bloodstained feathers drifted down.

Lu Yin pulled the two blades free and attacked again. “Scruffy bird, I told you that I’d butcher you.”

Nan Ling’s pupils shrank to pinpricks as it stared at the two upraised blades in Lu Yin’s hands. An indescribable suffocating force caused Lu Yin to go weak, to the point where he nearly lost his grip on his weapons.

The two blades he held were also steadily weakening. What was happening?

Damn! It’s the bird’s unseen world.

Lu Yin hurriedly drove the blades down.

The two blades sliced into Nan Ling’s body again, but this time, the depth was shallow. Neither blade managed to completely pierce into the bird’s body.

Nan Ling’s eyes grew vicious. “Human, I’ll torture you to death! I swear it! I’ll torture you to death!”

Lu Yin kept stabbing the Plume Immortal with his blades. With each strike, their power weakened further, until they vanished entirely.

He panted heavily. Both the Stillness Transformation and tri-color divine energy transformation were fading as well. Nan Ling’s unique world was causing Lu Yin’s power to disappear.

“Human, you can’t hurt me anymore!” Nan Ling shrieked coldly.

The corners of Lu Yin’s mouth rose. “Not necessarily.” As the words fell, he abruptly pulled back. Behind Nan Ling, the trident appeared, stabbing straight for Lu Yin. To reach Lu Yin, it first needed to pierce through Nan Ling.

The bird only felt a sharp pain in its back. The trident pierced through its body, staining itself red with its blood before continuing on towards Lu Yin.

Lu Yin vanished, teleporting away to avoid the attack.

Nan Ling was free of Crow Immobilization, and immediately spat out a mouthful of blood. Watching the bloodstained trident disappear, it grew furious and glared at Ni Bieluo. Despicable!

It had been badly wounded.

Outside of the Nine Odysseys Megaverse, Green Lotus gathered karma once more, preparing to unleash his Lotus Cannon again. Only his Lotus Cannon could force the trident back.

Unfortunately, it was not so easy to unleash the Lotus Cannon.

“Human, you have every right to be proud. You’ve managed to hold me back and even force me to retract my trident. But this ends here.” Ni Bieluo clearly saw that Green Lotus had already expended an enormous amount of karma, and it was no longer possible for him to casually use his Lotus Cannon.

Blood was continuously dripping from Green Lotus’s hands. He had already pushed his law of Compression close to the limit while resisting the Duality Seal, and then he had spent a tremendous amount of karma. In the end, because Green Lotus had to continuously consume his own strength to keep the Heavenly Karmic Macrocosm released in order to avoid drawing Wang Wen’s attention, he had never actually been able to become a true peak two-law Immortal.

If he had, things would not be nearly so difficult.

Wang Wen had not merely placed restrictions on human civilization after Lu Yin’s rise. He had started doing so long ago.

There was a line that humanity could not cross.

Above Green Lotus, a shadow descended. Ni Bieluo’s cement spread out to envelop the man.

Green Lotus quickly dodged. He could not allow himself to be covered by that cement. Otherwise, his image would be sketched, and he might even be recorded.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Lu Yin was still evading the trident. Ni Bieluo was effectively fighting two on its own, but it had the strength to do so.

Wait, where is Nan Ling?

Lu Yin used Willforce to merge with the megaverse. He quickly found the bird, though his expression changed drastically as soon as he did.

Nan Ling had someone in its talons: Dan Jin.

Gritting his teeth, Lu Yin teleported behind Nan Ling and struck with tri-color divine energy. Nan Ling casually flung Dan Jin away and glanced back with the coldest gaze imaginable. “Human, I will make all of you pay.”

With that, it vanished, teleporting away.

Lu Yin looked at Dan Jin lying on the ground. She was already dead.

Lesser Sancte Dan Jin had been a powerhouse respected throughout the Nine Odysseys Megaverse. For the sake of the megaverse, she had willingly given up on any chance to break into the Immortal realm, and she had instead focused on concocting pills from its parallel universes. Without her efforts, the Nine Odysseys Megaverse would have been reset long ago during this great war.

This was the greatest battlefield, and Dan Jin’s contribution had been immense.

And yet, she had just died beneath Nan Ling’s talons.

The bird next teleported to the Nine Odysseys Megaverse East Domain: Everchange Valley. Its talons swept through the sect, and Wan Lou died instantly. A’zuo and A’you had been fighting the Death Megaverse’s skeletons. When they saw Wan Lou’s death, they charged at Nan Ling. The Plume Immortal sneered at Lu Yin and casually waved at him. Both humans’ bodies shattered, their blood staining the ground red. The bird did not care about increasing its karmic chain in the slightest.

Furious, Lu Yin clenched both fists and gave chase while behind him, the trident ceaselessly pursued him.

Nan Ling teleported again and again, disappearing from sight each time. It refused to fight Lu Yin.

It wanted revenge, revenge for the injuries that this human had inflicted upon it. Humans were toys to it. The Nine Ramparts had been played with by the Plume Immortals long ago, and the same should be true of the current Trio.

No one would escape. A quick and clean death was already letting those people off lightly.

As for Lu Yin, Nan Ling would torture him to the very end.

Every time the bird teleported, it killed someone. Never more than that, just one person. However, most of those people were acquaintances of Lu Yin’s because everyone that Nan Ling killed was at least a sequence powerhouse.

The Nine Odysseys Megaverse, the Spirit Nidus, and the Tianyuan—by teleporting, the distance between the three megaverses might as well not exist to Nan Ling.

Lu Yin watched the bird kill the Voidlord.

It killed Grand Elder Shan Gu.

It killed Ye Wu and Luo Shan.

In the Spirit Nidus, it killed City Lord Feng, Shi Xiu, Palace Master Yao, and the Revelation Sect’s three venerables.

One familiar face after another, and one stranger after another, yet they all died.
