Alaric used his Appraisal on the young elves.

As expected, they are more talented than humans, but their potential is still not on the same level as that kid I brought from Veronica.

Although the talents of the young elves surprised him, Alaric wasn’t interested in poaching them.

Suddenly, one of his subordinates exclaimed. "Isn’t that Miss Nivis? What is she doing there with those elven kids?"

Everyone turned their heads and saw a blue-haired woman chatting with a group of elven combat instructors.

Her strength has improved too.

Alaric smiled faintly upon sensing the substantial increase in her power.

As if sensing something, Nivis furrowed her eyebrows and turned her head. "Hm?"

She narrowed her eyes and saw Alaric’s group watching in the distance.

"You stay here. Someone has come for me." She said to the elven instructors before she leapt onto the trees, jumping from one branch to another with great mobility.

She was like a nimble beast, fast and agile.

Whoosh!

With a twist in midair, she landed gracefully in front of Alaric’s group.

"How have you been, Ala-, Your Majesty?" She was about to call him by his name, but she quickly corrected herself.

Alaric acted as if he didn’t notice and let out a chuckle. "I have been well. What about you, Nivis? How was your stay here in Greenwood Kingdom?"

Nivis shook her head, a light smile suffused her lips. "Everything here has been peaceful. There was almost nothing to do so I volunteered to help the elven instructors train those kids."

Alaric exchanged words with her. It wasn’t like a meeting between master and servant, but more like a meeting between friends.

After a lighthearted conversation, Alaric looked at Bellator and the other guys and sent them a signal.

Understanding his intentions, Bellator nodded and left. The others also followed him, leaving Alaric and Nivis.

Nivis stared curiously at him, wondering what he wanted to discuss with her that he needed the others to leave.

"I have heard about Cangnan from Lord Bellator. He told me about the divine factions and the various superpowers that stand above the main continent."

"I see... It seems like that guy is the same as me. You must have summoned him with the power of the ancients." Nivis calmly concluded.

No one in the desolate region was aware of the situation in Cangnan, so she guessed that Bellator was in the same circumstances as she was.

"Did I guess it right?" She smiled at him.

Alaric didn’t deny it, but instead of answering, he asked another question. "Lord Bellator told me that he was in the Supreme realm at his peak..."

"You... how strong were you at your peak, Nivis?"

Nivis fell silent. She looked at the young elven warriors who were in the middle of their training.

"Monsters are classified based on their danger levels. A Beyonder is as strong as a Calamity-Grade beast. And a Supreme is as strong as a Cataclysmic-Grade beast. I am at this level..." She mumbled absentmindedly as she recalled a distant past.

"Cataclysmic-Grade?" Alaric was taken aback. This was the first time he had heard this kind of danger level.

With a snort, she added. "Not to boast, but I have killed several human Supremes."

Looking at her smug face, Alaric couldn’t help but laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" Nivis raised an eyebrow, looking somewhat annoyed.

"You have changed. You don’t have that wary and cold look in your eyes anymore." Alaric recalled the time when he summoned Nivis. Her eyes were cold like an emotionless machine. She also had this bone-deep arrogance and disdain toward the human race.

Nivis was stunned by his words. "What do you-"

"Don’t worry. It’s not a bad thing." Alaric tapped her shoulder with a grin.

"And... I have not forgotten my promise to you."

Nivis’s expression eased up. "I would have used my fists to make you remember it..."

"Anyway, how is the..."

A casual conversation followed afterwards.

...

The day of the wedding came. The venue was already packed. The sounds of various musical instruments echoed through the forest.

Elves, humans, and even some beastmen were invited to the ceremony.

The three races that had been in conflict for a long time were now harmoniously chatting with each other. Although there were still some differences in their personalities and opinions, each group tried to be more understanding of the others.

Unlike human weddings, the elven wedding ceremony started with a grand banquet for all the guests.

Many delegates from various human empires gathered and formed cliques, discussing potential cooperation and ventures. They even invited the unruly beastmen tribes to join, hoping to form alliances with them.

For this banquet, both the groom and the bride were not present.

As per elven tradition, the groom was taken to the tallest tree in the kingdom where the ancestors of the elves were buried. He was then told to pay his respects by offering a sincere bow.

Meanwhile, the bride visited Alaric’s family to perform what the elves call the ’nature’s song’. In literal terms, it was a singing performance.

The song was in elven language and it was about spreading the importance of nature.

Yvanna was nervous as she stood before Alaric’s parents, but as soon as she sang the first line, all her anxiety vanished.

As her soulful and melodious voice echoed, everyone subconsciously closed their eyes to enjoy the music.

Lucas, and everyone in Alaric’s family, felt a sense of tranquility.

As if to show support for Yvanna’s performance, various birds and small animals came to listen to the song.

The elements are dancing...

Lucas could sense the fluctuations of mana and the unique reaction of the elements.

Bellator, who was quietly watching from afar, realized something.

It seems like this song is related to the mother tree.

After Yvanna sang the final line, the birds and small animals scattered in all directions. The fluctuations of mana also stopped. It almost seemed like nothing mystical happened.

"Yvanna Greenwood greets Father and the two Mothers." The elven princess paid her respects to Alaric’s parents after the performance.

"Wonderful! It was a great performance!" Maria exclaimed, opening her arms to embrace her daughter-in-law.

Jade Kristine also offered her praise, but in a more subdued tone. "It was a splendid moment!"

"Excellent!" Lucas remarked with a smile.

Hearing their praises, Yvanna smiled shyly.
