without any warning, he felt a powerful force constrict around his body.
It was followed by a bone-chilling cold that spread rapidly across his skin, as if a layer of frost were instantly condensing upon it.
He instinctively looked down, and his pupils contracted violently.
The giant black snake had somehow, silently, coiled itself around his body.
The snake’s scales shimmered with a cold, eerie light. Every loop of its body brought with it a suffocating pressure.
"Do you want to live, or die?"
Just as his mind reeled with terror, completely at a loss,
a somewhat hoarse voice suddenly sounded beside his ear.
