"This is bad! Quick! Get out of here, now!!"
Just then, the voice of the Magnetic Tyrant’s Mecha Spirit, like a piercing alarm, suddenly and urgently rang out in Celestial Magnet’s mind.
Celestial Magnet’s movements suddenly froze, his brows instantly knitting together.
"What are you talking about?" he asked.
He had no idea what it meant.
But at this moment, the Mecha Spirit seemed to be completely ignoring Celestial Magnet, its Mecha Master.
It forcefully seized control of the Forbidden Mecha. With clean, decisive movements, it unhesitatingly lowered the spear it had been charging, terminating the terrifying energy that was gathering within it.
Then, without giving Celestial Magnet any time to react, the Mecha’s thrusters instantly erupted with blazing light and flames.
The machine shot up from the ground like a cannonball, rocketing backward at extreme speed.
As a Forbidden Mecha, the Magnetic Tyrant possessed astonishing speed.
In the blink of an eye, the buildings on the ground shrank until they were as small as ants.
The Mecha then traversed through layers of space, arriving in the Upper City District. Without the slightest pause, it tore toward Iron Rock Star’s atmosphere at lightning speed.
It looked like it was preparing to flee Iron Rock Star entirely.
"Tyrant, what in the world are you doing?"
Celestial Magnet’s expression soured as he watched this sudden turn of events.
But the Mecha was now completely out of his control.
"Fool! If we don’t go now, you’re going to die..."
The voice of the Mecha Spirit known as Tyrant rang out again, tinged with anxiety.
But before it could finish, it was as if something had suddenly cut it off.
Just as Celestial Magnet was about to speak, the entire Mecha came to a sudden halt, as if it had slammed into an invisible wall.
He looked up to see a figure appear out of thin air before him, without any warning, as if it belonged there.
The newcomer was none other than Zhao Ying.
However, this Zhao Ying was different from her usual self.
Her eyes had transformed into blood-red, serpentine pupils.
By just casually raising a hand, she effortlessly nullified the Mecha’s terrifying momentum.
The Forbidden Mecha was frozen in place, completely immobilized.
"You..."
Celestial Magnet had just uttered a single word, but before the sound could fade...
SPLAT!
The next moment, Celestial Magnet’s head exploded without warning, splattering blood and brain matter everywhere.
BOOM!
Immediately after, a deafening boom echoed as the Forbidden Mecha, the Magnetic Tyrant, was blown apart by a single punch!
The massive Mecha frame instantly disintegrated, showering metal fragments down like rain.
Only its core, pulsing with a piercing, ethereal blue light, remained hovering in mid-air.
Hu Qi reached out, grabbed it, and absorbed it into the Copper Cross Medal where his true self resided.
"Hm?"
Suddenly, Hu Qi, controlling Zhao Ying’s body, glanced sideways. His gaze was like a blade, piercing the void tens of thousands of meters away.
The space appeared empty.
But a closer look revealed a slight distortion in space, as if something was desperately trying to conceal its presence.
Seeing this, a cold smirk played on Hu Qi’s lips as he muttered to himself.
’Power of Space? Fast runner. A pity...’
...
Ripples spread through the void just outside Iron Rock Star.
A shadow, hidden in the darkness, was rapidly fleeing the area.
It fled as if something terrifying resided on Iron Rock Star behind it.
It was a matte-silver Mecha.
Its surface seemed to swallow all light.
The Crown Gold Edge inlaid on its borders glowed faintly in the shadows, like the corona of a solar eclipse.
Four pairs of dark, gossamer wings on its back vibrated slightly.
Its face featured only two crescent-shaped optical slits, which emitted a cold, pale blue-white glow.
In its hand, it gripped a white scythe.
The blade flowed with a dark purple halo of light.
This Mecha was none other than the Eclipse Shadower, one of the Eight Forbidden Mechas.
Its Abilities were spatial jumping and stealth.
He was the one who had rushed over as soon as the alert came in.
He never expected to encounter a situation like that.
’Just what the hell is that thing!’
Bai Kong’s face was pale as he recalled the scene he had just witnessed.
As one of the Holy Cross Church’s Seven Forbidden Mecha Masters, he had his fair share of dealings with the Eternal Night Council.
He had personally experienced the power of the Forbidden Mecha, the Magnetic Tyrant.
But now, it had been blown to pieces by a single person with one punch.
"I don’t know. My database contains no records of a situation like this.
But with that kind of terrifying power, that... being... is unlikely to be human."
A young, girlish voice suddenly rang out—clear, yet tinged with a mechanical coldness.
It was the voice of the Eclipse Hermit, the Mecha Spirit in Bai Kong’s mind.
"Little girl, it’s not nice to talk badly about people behind their backs. What do you mean I’m not human?"
A voice had suddenly spoken from within the cockpit.
"Wait—no, you’re not Bai Kong. Who are you?"
In an instant, the Mecha Spirit’s voice shot up several octaves, filled with terror and disbelief. Its shrill tone echoed in the depths of Bai Kong’s consciousness.
"Who am I?"
’Bai Kong’s’ lips curled into a knowing smirk.
He didn’t answer directly, instead gazing calmly at the cockpit’s canopy to his side.
His face was reflected in it.
It was a young man with white hair and white eyes.
However, Bai Kong’s right eye, originally white, had at some point transformed into a crimson, serpentine eye, its vertical pupil glinting with an eerie light.
"Weren’t you just discussing me?"
His voice was low, its cadence lilting upward with a hint of mockery.
