[Internal Combustion]!

KA-BOOM!

Reaynar screamed as her body was suddenly enveloped in intense flames, and Valeria pulled her sword back before unleashing a perfect horizontal slash towards Reaynar’s neck!

SLAM!

But before Valeria could kill Reaynar, a force slammed into her from the side, and Valeria was thrown off her feet and into the ice wall! Valeria grunted as her back slammed into the ice, and she looked up quickly with a heavy glare on her face to see Jack the Ripper grabbing Reaynar and throwing her over his shoulder! Jack’s body was scarred and scorched from Valeria’s previous attack, but he was still mostly intact since he was also a TITAN! Jack glared at Valeria as he reached for something in his belt, and Valeria quickly got to her feet and shot forward to try and capture Jack!

DOON!

But the air suddenly shook as the Synchronization Displacement was turned off, and this allowed Jack to open a Dimensional Tear behind him and fall through before Valeria could reach him! Valeria stopped once she saw that they were gone, and she let out long, tired breaths as she looked around her while hunching over! Valeria could feel an intense tiredness coming over her, and Valeria knew that her body was going to punish her very soon for going all the way to the [Fifth Step] in the [Dance of the Dying Man]! But Valeria had no choice! If Valeria hadn’t used all that strength, then there was no way she could’ve won against someone like Reaynar.

Valeria grunted as she dragged her tired body towards where Harold was lying unconscious. She pulled her big brother up and carried him on her shoulder like a bag of rice before she began to move across the frozen landscape while leaving the scars of the massive battle behind! Valeria was going to collapse from the strain of this battle very soon, but before she did that, she had to make sure that she and her brother were in a safe place!

[The First Domain]

[An Unknown World]

Somewhere in a distant world in the first domain, the great Celestial of Order, C’thlyanu, stirred as he felt a magic energy reaching out to him. C’thlyanu immediately recognized the pressure as a summoning sign from the Keepers of the Hall of Fallen Heroes, and C’thlyanu sent out his consciousness in the form of the purple mist to go and see what the faceless Keepers wanted from him!

C’thlyanu arrived at the Hall of Fallen Heroes, and he was surprised to see one of Jason’s subordinates waiting there for him. The subordinate had a letter in his hand, and once C’thlyanu appeared, the subordinate stretched the letter out towards him.

’Why would Jason send me a letter?’

C’thlyanu was obviously curious about this, and he used his magic to telekinetically collect the letter before making it float towards him slowly. C’thlyanu opened the letter and read through it very quickly, and he felt an intense shock coming over him the longer he read!

[...A celestial is about to be unleashed on the Primordial Expanse. I don’t know how long we have before it arrives, but we need to consider options to counter it when it does.]

Was this real!? C’thlyanu couldn’t believe what he was reading here. Jason didn’t seem like the sort of person to joke about something so serious, so C’thlyanu knew that there had to be some truth in the message! The only question that C’thlyanu had right now was which of the Celestials was about to be released! There were five sealed Celestials across the Primordial Expanse, and seven free Celestials. C’thlyanu could still sense the magic of the other six free Celestials, so he knew that none of them were anywhere close to the mortal world. That meant Jason had to be speaking about one of the five sealed Celestials.

’I should check the seals and see if any of them have been weakened.’

DOON!

But just as C’thlyanu was having that thought, he felt an intense pressure tear across the Primordial Expanse! A familiar sensation that he hadn’t felt in close to five thousand years suddenly slammed into C’thlyanu, and C’thlyanu turned around in shock!

’Death.’

That was the only thought that C’thlyanu had at that moment, and C’thlyanu realised that the monster that had been unleashed on them was one of the worst celestials to ever exist! The Celestial of Death! Who would be mad enough to unleash something like this on them!? C’thlyanu had lived through many disasters that the Primordial Expanse went through, but C’thlyanu knew without a doubt that the period that caused the most damage to the world was when the Celestial of Death had been roaming freely across the world!

That period was so bad that C’thlyanu had been forced to intervene along with hundreds of other powerful high-level mages, and they carried out the Celestial Hunt to trap the Celestial of Death behind a seal for eternity! C’thlyanu had entrusted the key to the seal to the mortals, and as far as he knew, it had been thrown into an endless abyss so that no one would ever be able to retrieve it! But it was obvious that someone had actually managed to get it!

’I need to inform the rest of the council! If we don’t do something now, the death toll will be unimaginable!’

....

[The Ninth Domain]

A massive ripple tore across the sky above multiple worlds in the ninth domain, and from that ripple, a black cloud of murky smoke began to seep into the atmosphere and roll across the world like a phantom. The massive, thick, black body of smoke travelled slowly over the land, and people from all across the world stopped whatever they were doing and looked up in surprise.

On a farming world called Varisa in the ninth domain where nearly every person owned massive farmlands, there were currently hundreds of people working on a farm in the middle of a large town! The people of this world made most of their money by trading their farm produce to parallel worlds, and the farmers were already getting ready to harvest their crops since the season had already come!

One of the men working on the farm was busy weeding a large portion, and he stood up and ran his hand over his forehead with a sigh before he looked out towards the distance, and he saw the large black cloud heading in his direction.

"Hmm. Looks like a storm’s coming."

The man spoke in a loud voice to the other people there with him, and some of them stopped what they were doing and looked up at the black smoke with a curious gaze!

"I ain’t never seen a storm cloud like that before."

One of the men spoke curiously while putting his hand over his eyes to get a better look, and another woman spoke up.

"Looks like smoke from a fire. You sure there ain’t something burning on the other side?"

"For this much smoke! We’ll be feeling the heat already if it was this large."

The group continued to debate curiously while watching the smoke cloud heading in their direction, but one of the younger children there looked out into the distant farmland, and she felt surprised when she saw multiple crops turning grey and falling over the moment the smoke touched them! The child did not understand what exactly was going on, and the thought that the smoke might be responsible for killing those plants never even crossed her mind! But since she didn’t understand it, the little girl touched her mother’s leg and pointed towards the dying crops.

"Mama, look. The crops are going bad."
