Instead of evading, Wang Pengcheng reached out, catching the knife, infusing it with the Aura of Geng Metal, his eyes locked coldly on the vampire.

Another wound on the vampire's abdomen disrupted his Blood Qi further, making him dizzy, nearly fainting. He spun around yelling for "Pete" towards the third off-road vehicle.

Clearly, he was calling for help.

If they were not of the same vampire clan, they would be indifferent to each other.

The three vampires who came tonight were from different vampire clans, each indifferent and suspicious of the others.

The vampires in the vehicle preferred observing Wang Pengcheng's true Cultivation Base through the first vampire's residual strength rather than aiding him, let alone offering help in his severe state. Thus, even though he called for aid, the other two vampires would not rescue him.

"Their strength is doubled, be cautious," Wang Xiaoqiang reminded.

Before the two vampires closed in, Wang Pengcheng rolled on the ground, picking up a handgun, secretly infusing its bullets with the Aura of Geng Metal.

These two vampires shared no brotherly ties nor team spirit, only joining forces because neither alone could contend with Wang Pengcheng.

But upon seeing Wang Pengcheng picking up a handgun, they panicked immediately.

They knew they were talented enough to become strong vampires, and thus understood that blades wouldn't harm them. That Wang Pengcheng killed their kin through energy added to a knife, and now, fearing he'd add the same terrifying energy to bullets.

The unexpected assault from the vehicle was because Wang Pengcheng hadn't wielded weapons or firearms, wanting to strike unawares.

But Wang Pengcheng cunningly retrieved a handgun, changing the situation drastically, knowing they were in grave danger, fear mounting in their hearts.

Although, if they pressed on, attacking jointly, Wang Pengcheng couldn't fend off both, certainly struggling to respond. To restrain Wang Pengcheng, though, one of them must sacrifice themselves, neither willing to be that martyr. So, now, their movements halted abruptly, retreating hastily in defense.

Wang Pengcheng aimed the gun at one vampire, who panicked, dodging frantically, denying Wang Pengcheng a clear shot.
