Chapter 2354 Chaos Origin: The First Contradiction.

Zylarith's trump card, a move he only used once in the history of the Universe and right now—

He was using it again.

He raised both his hands, the empty void inside Nux's Universe grew darker. Violet-black light leaked from the cracks that had formed in his Soul Form after Nux's relentless attacks, his smoky body flickered as if it could no longer support itself.

But his eyes were different.

His intense violet eyes glared at Nux with intense hatred, the Chaos around him became far denser than anything Nux had seen.

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

Nux's dimension trembled violently, as Zylarith's Chaos penetrated deeper, into the Laws like Time and Space, into Concepts, Meaning, Ideas, all the way into…

The Truth.

His Soul Form grew larger in presence, the void around him bent in odd shapes, as if it could no longer hold him properly, his white hair scattered into countless strands of light, his smoky robes fluttered dramatically and then—

"Chaos Origin."

The words echoed throughout the dimension and for a moment—

Everything stopped, even Nux.

And then—

"The First Contradiction."

Zylarith's words echoed again and reality itself broke.

"!!!"

Nux's eyes widened in shock, for a moment, he was in his Dimension, then he found himself moved to his Universe, then to the Main Universe, then to the Worlds that no longer existed, then he was nowhere, then everywhere at the same time.

His mind was overloaded with so much information at the same time that for a moment, even he felt dizzy.

But it wasn't over.

He looked at Zylarith, he was in front of him, then behind him, then he was wounded, then untouched, then dead, then alive, then he was never harmed at all.

Nux's previous attacks had landed, but they had also missed, the wounds on Zylarith's Soul existed, but they also never existed, victory was close, yet victory was impossible.

Life and death no longer stood against each other. Creation and Destruction became the same thing. Light revealed nothing. Darkness hid everything by showing it clearly. Balance tilted and remained balanced. Time moved forward, backward, sideways, and nowhere. Space had distance and no distance.

And Chaos…

It thrived.

Every truth contradicted itself.

And every single one of these contradictions was real.

"What the…"

Nux stood there like a fool who had no clue what was happening, his Law of Anomaly thrived where things made no sense, that was correct but…

This was worse!

Nux clenched his fists, trying to think of something but—

CRACK

His right arm broke, then it healed, then stayed broken, then it returned to normal.

And the pain?

The pain from all these versions struck at once.

He gritted his teeth in pain.

He tried to move, to get away from whatever this place had become, but there was nowhere to move, every direction led to the same place, and that same place was not there. Space was ruined entirely.

Other Primordial Energies were no different, every single one of them was ruined beyond what even Nux could understand, only Chaos thrived—

And no matter how strong Nux was, it was simply not possible for him to overpower Zylarith when it came to Chaos.

"Khrrrkkk!!"

Nux coughed out blood, his body that he had barely healed cracked again, that same torturous cycle he had been through repeated, only this time, it was far more agonizing.

"Gaaarhhhh!!"

Nux groaned in unbearable pain, his skin came off his body, revealing his bloodied state that he couldn't recover from.

And it wasn't just him, his entire Dimension, his entire Universe was being attacked and corrupted at the same time.

This was Zylarith's last-ditch effort to come out on top.

And as the Infinity of Chaos saw his attack work, as he saw his child shivering in pain while his Universe was being forcibly taken away from him—

He grinned.

"Do you see it now?"

He spoke, his voice coming from every single direction.

"This was Chaos… before there was order to oppose it.

This is why I was the strongest.

This is why they feared me, even today."

Zylarith's eyes burned brighter, Nux tried to move, but in this space he did not understand, even a simple action like that made his body scream in agony as it was crushed by a pressure he couldn't comprehend.

"Kharrrkkkk!!"

He coughed blood again.

Zylarith raised one hand, he could practically see Nux's current image being superimposed by the previous Infinity of Eternity right before he killed her, just like he was going to kill him.

"Now disappear."

He declared and—

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH

All the Chaos collapsed towards Nux, every truth… turned against him.

He was strong, so his body broke down.

He resisted, so his body surrendered.

His Laws protected him, so they now wounded him.

He was alive, so he was now… dead.

He existed, so now he…

He was erased.

Yes, for one moment, Nux nearly vanished, his golden eyes dimmed, his universe began to crack, preparing for its end but then—

He smiled.

"A World where even the Truth itself is a Contradiction."

He commented with a blood-covered face as the shine in his eyes returned.

"Good."

He praised, the broken reality trembled, almost as if it was screaming for his help.

Nux moved his fingers, his body was still in a state of contradiction, dead, alive, whole, broken, present, erased, all at the same time, his Universe was still cracking, his Laws had all failed—

But this time, he did not fight it.

He simply observed the world around him and…

He began to understand it.

"What…?"

Zylarith couldn't believe what he was seeing.

The First Contradiction was not an attack with ridiculous attack damage, it was more of a… battlefield control move.

A move that dismissed every single Primordial Energy, except Chaos, it basically made the Battlefield unlivable, even for the Infinities, even for Zylarith himself.

The only reason he was even alive and well was because of the dense Chaos Energy protecting him from the damage.

But Nux…

He did not have the Chaos Energy protecting him, even if he could use Chaos, all the Chaos around him now belonged to Zylarith and he had no control over it whatsoever.

He should have no way to protect himself.

Even the Infinity of Eternity didn't.

Heck, even the other Three Infinities barely got out of this alive by using the Infinity of Eternity's death as a cover to attack him from behind.

Then…

Why was he still alive!?

Why was the dense Chaos not crushing his body into something even his wives would not recognize?

Why?

What was happening?

Why, despite being surrounded by deadly energy, was his body… healing?

"W-What are you doing!?"

He asked, stuttering in shock and horror for the first time in his entire life.

He did not have any answers.

And the worst part?

There was nothing he could do.

While the Chaos Energy did protect him, it was only because he had gathered a dense amount of it around him, it was like a cage he couldn't get out of, or else the environment outside would tear him apart too.

He couldn't use the Chaos Energy to attack him either, because he needed Chaos in its densest form to protect him, using even a little bit of it risked exposure—

Which, with half his Soul already gone—

He couldn't risk.

So Zylarith could only watch.

"I ASKED WHAT IS IT YOU ARE DOING!?"

And scream.

But Nux did not answer—

He kept his eyes closed, his body broke, healed, died and lived, all at the same time, but the pace at which all of it was happening was… slowing down.

Almost as if…

Nux had begun to control it.

Which, again, should not have been possible but…

That was exactly what Nux was doing—

Doing what should have been impossible.

Because that was who he was—

An Anomaly.

And that was when it happened.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Everything around Nux exploded, the dense Energy of Chaos scattered, the effect of the First Contradiction was still there but…

It wasn't because of Zylarith.

It was because Nux decided to keep it there.

Finally, he opened his eyes, and with a new, stronger clarity, he looked at Zylarith and—

"Thank you, Father."

He smiled.

"W-What…?"

That was the only thing that came out of Zylarith's confused, dumbfounded mouth.

Nux's smile widened.

"You helped me understand my own power.

I will not forget that.

In return—

I will only torture your soul for the next trillion years, instead of Eternity."

"YOU DARE!?"

Zylarith raised his voice, showing his strong side even now, but inwardly, his mind was in utter shock, even now, he couldn't understand how this bastard was moving inside the First Contradiction so freely.

But what he could understand was that the First Contradiction was no longer hurting Nux, instead, it was strengthening Nux, while trapping him in his own cage.

So Zylarith decided to remove it, to return everything back to normal, so at the very least, he could regain his movement.

With that thought in his mind, he waved his hand while his mind tried to come up with ways to deal with the monster in front of him.

But—

"Huh…?"

Nothing happened.
