Chapter 191: Chapter 142: Die
’This guy... How can he react so fast!’
A look of utter terror crossed the man’s face as the thought flashed through his mind.
But he quickly calmed down. The fact that his opponent could keep up with his speed meant his reactions were incredibly fast, and his strength far exceeded his own imagination.
For a Tier Four Martial Artist, this was an absurd level of power. He’d certainly never heard of, let alone seen, a Tier Four stronger than Su Xing.
’But... so what?’
’A Tier Four is still just a Tier Four. The gap between them and a Tier Five is enormous, to say nothing of a Tier Five who’s played their trump card!’
’So what if his reaction speed can match mine? Can his body keep up with his mind? Can his flesh withstand my full-power attack?’
’No! Absolutely not!’
’A Tier Four Martial Artist couldn’t possibly do something like that!’
’As long as I hold an absolute advantage in either speed or strength, this guy is nothing but a lamb to the slaughter!’
As if trying to convince himself, the man roared these words in his mind. His eyes locked onto the motionless Su Xing as he bellowed,
"Die!"
Killing intent manifested as a dark flash. With a SWISH, he appeared before Su Xing, his clenched fist smashing viciously toward Su Xing’s chest!
The instant he threw the punch, his muscles began to swell. Veins like pythons bulged across his arm!
"DIE!!!"
The veins didn’t stop at his arm. They spread across his body, finally crawling over his face like worms, making him look utterly ferocious and terrifying. Then, his fist slammed into Su Xing!
In that instant!
He could almost see it: Su Xing sent flying by his punch, his chest bursting like a balloon as blood sprayed everywhere. The vision brought an irrepressible, triumphant smile to his lips.
BANG!!!
A shockwave instantly shredded Su Xing’s clothes. The fragments flew back with the Gale, revealing powerful muscles shimmering with a jade-like luster underneath. A faint, crimson energy coated his muscles, and the man’s fist came to a dead stop against this layer of energy.
It was as if his fist had simply frozen in place. He could feel the warmth and density of Su Xing’s muscles, but he couldn’t advance another inch.
"Wh-what..."
The man froze, stunned.
He glanced at the unbelievable scene, then back at his own fist, his mind a chaotic mess.
"How is this possible?! How?! Goddammit!"
With a furious roar, he threw all caution to the wind. His arm, already swollen, began to expand even more. Soon, it was no longer recognizable as an arm, instead resembling a massive, elongated tumor of flesh that pulsed with explosive power.
"I said, die!"
The man’s eyes were filled with vicious resolve. The initial thrill of battle was long gone, replaced by the ferocity and fear of a life-or-death struggle. He mustered every last ounce of his strength and foundation, unleashing another punch!
The next moment—
BAM!!!
With a muffled bang, he watched in a daze as the force of his own punch sent him flying back dozens of paces. Su Xing, however, didn’t move an inch.
’Impossible...’
’How can a Tier Four Martial Artist possibly be this strong?!’
He stared blankly at Su Xing, who was still standing in the same spot. Suddenly, the red energy surrounding Su Xing vanished, and a crimson longsword materialized, hovering in the air.
’Huh?’
’Could it be... he’s exhausted!’
The thought flashed through his mind, and a maniacal grin spread across his face. Without a moment’s hesitation, he charged toward Su Xing.
’This is my only chance! The only chance to turn defeat into victory!’
’I have to seize it!’
But...
His breath caught in his throat. When he looked at Su Xing again, the sword was gone. The energy surrounding Su Xing had turned completely black—a bottomless darkness that felt as if it could swallow him whole.
"Have you had enough fun?"
Su Xing grinned, a ferocious edge to his smile. He clenched his right hand, and innumerable white blades materialized out of thin air. They condensed into streams of white light, flowing into his palm to form a white Light Saber.
"If you’ve had enough fun..."
"Then it’s my turn, isn’t it?"
"Wh-what!!!"
He was a Tier Five, after all. Though his strength was nothing compared to Su Xing’s, his sense of danger was exceptionally sharp. In that instant, he knew he had to run!
But...
It was too late to run now.
Terror seized him. He desperately halted his charge and scrambled for the exit, trying to escape Su Xing’s attack.
The man’s speed was indeed very fast.
The drug he had been hiding in his mouth had indeed fully stimulated his physical abilities.
But...
No matter who you are, stopping abruptly mid-charge will always kill your momentum. The same was true for him.
That split second he wasted trying to "brake" was all it took. He didn’t even notice that Su Xing was no longer where he’d been standing.
Just as he was retreating, a white sword wreathed in black energy slashed toward him at an even greater speed!
’This sword... it’s terrifying!’
He could even see the space around the white sword’s path being violently compressed by its power. Cracks began to form, then shattered completely. The surrounding air, also compressed by the force, surged like a monstrous white wave!!!
