Swordsmanship Coach: Kill with One Slash
Chapter 218 - 155: Trouble Arrives (Part 2)Chapter 218: Chapter 155: Trouble Arrives (Part 2)
The man’s tone was vicious, his muscles taut and gleaming like jade. Su Xing could tell that this man’s strength, and especially his body, were inferior to his own.
Especially his body.
There was a gap of about two levels between them.
’I’d love to just slap this guy to death,’
Su Xing thought.
He looked at the man, lowering his head slightly as a blinding killing intent flashed in his eyes.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t...
Because the man had just used the word "they," which meant he wasn’t acting alone. He had accomplices.
Once accomplices were involved,
things would get much more troublesome.
Because Su Xing had no intention of letting a single one of them escape.
If he let any of them get away,
the Martial God Hall’s suspicion of him would instantly turn into certainty. Then, Su Xing’s situation would become extremely troublesome and dangerous.
So,
if he was going to kill them, he had to kill them all at once.
If he acted now,
while his partner had yet to appear,
it would be far too easy for the man to escape.
He had to endure.
Su Xing made his decision.
His eyes darted away from the man before him. He put on a hesitant expression, as if he was too scared not to speak, and said carefully, his voice a little hoarse,
"Yes, I’ve seen him."
"Just as I thought."
The man lowered his phone, glanced at Su Xing, and sneered.
"Good that you’ve seen him."
"One of us wants to meet you."
"I’m giving you a friendly warning. Later, you answer what he asks, and nothing more. Don’t run your mouth, or I can’t say how you’ll end up dead."
"O-Okay."
"Where are we going to meet?"
Su Xing maintained his nervous tone, giving no hint that he was secretly plotting how to kill every last one of them.
"Just follow us."
"Why so many damn questions?"
The man cursed rudely.
He hadn’t interacted with ordinary people for a long time. To him, they were like pigs or chickens—creatures he could kill at will. As such, he had little patience for Su Xing.
For a Martial Artist,
as their martial skills grew over the years,
the killing intent in their heart would also accumulate.
Those with good character and a righteous Martial Dao would naturally not be affected by such killing intent. It would only erupt during combat, allowing them to throw fiercer, more powerful punches than usual.
Only,
half-baked Martial Artists,
were more easily corrupted by this accumulated killing intent.
Worse,
it could lead them to do things they would regret for the rest of their lives.
"Say one more word."
"Careful, or I’ll break every limb you’ve got, beat you half to death, and then drag you there. As long as you can still talk, it’s fine."
The man shot Su Xing a vicious glare.
Seeing Su Xing obediently shut up, he nodded in satisfaction, waved his hand, and said,
"Liang, come on out."
"I told you this kid is just a regular Muggle. No need to be so cautious."
As his voice fell,
a K-K-KRAK sound suddenly came from the roof of the Sword Hall, and then...
BOOM!
The entire roof suddenly collapsed.
A figure dropped from the sky, landing right beside the man.
"..."
He glanced at Su Xing, shook his head in apparent disappointment, then turned to walk out of the Sword Hall.
"It’s never wrong to be careful."
"But... this is indeed a bit boring. Have you heard? For the Martial God Hall’s operation this time, even the Martial God himself has given his approval."
"For real?"
"I heard that last time the Martial God Hall went to war with the Special Organization, the Martial God was the one most against it. Why would he agree this time?"
"Who knows..."
"Maybe the situation really is that tense."
"True..."
"Dammit, stop standing there eavesdropping and get your ass in the car."
The man glared at Su Xing behind him.
Su Xing hadn’t done anything and was walking perfectly normally, but the man was just irritable and used Su Xing as a verbal punching bag.
"Alright..."
"Let’s hurry. This kid may be a regular Muggle, but he has someone backing him. Even Cao Qing is dead. We can’t be sure we could stop the one responsible."
Liang said, glancing at the other man.
"Hmph!"
"What ’mysterious master.’"
"Just some wild Martial Artist from before the Martial God Hall emerged. If he’s got the guts, let him show his face. We’ll see if I don’t slap him to death."
"Alright, alright."
Liang walked to the lake shore, opened the car door first, and got into the driver’s seat. He said to the man and Su Xing,
"Hurry up."
"Lin will get angry if we’re late."
Hearing the name "Lin," the man immediately shut his mouth. He pulled Su Xing into the back of the car.
Once they were in, Liang stomped on the gas, and the car sped off down the road.
After getting in the car,
the man next to Su Xing started chatting with the driver, Liang.
However,
their conversation mostly revolved around trivial matters within the Martial God Hall.
Su Xing listened for a while
but soon stopped paying attention. He just turned his gaze out the window, watching the scenery recede and grow increasingly unfamiliar.
It seemed...
they had left Cang City.
’That guy named Lin... he’s not in Cang City?’
The thought flashed through Su Xing’s mind.
’But, based on their behavior, they probably don’t know the mirror is on me, or that I was the one who killed Cao Qing.’
This thought
flashed through Su Xing’s mind.
It made sense.
If they knew he was the one they were looking for,
they probably would have attacked him directly, just like Cao Qing did, instead of taking him to see some other guy.
But,
what did they want to ask him?
This puzzled Su Xing. The timing was very sensitive. The Martial God Hall had just declared war, and in the next moment, they sent people to grab him to investigate the mysterious master.
It made Su Xing suspect that the Martial God Hall’s true target might be the mysterious master himself.
The declaration of war on the Special Organization,
might also be one of the Martial God Hall’s goals, but at this stage, it could just be a feint to lure the tiger away from the mountain, leaving the Special Organization unable to react.
Thinking of this,
Su Xing suddenly felt
that his theory was getting closer to the truth.
However,
there was no need to overthink it.
Everything would become clear once he met this so-called Lin.
Su Xing glanced at the two men, who were still chatting as if he wasn’t even there, and began to close his eyes and rest.
...
They had indeed left Cang City.
But they didn’t go to another city. Instead, they stopped in the borderlands between Cang City and the next.
This place
wasn’t too far from Cang City.
So, the car stopped much sooner than Su Xing had expected.
Here,
it was a bit like one of those "urban villages."
The street was lined with sketchy-looking shops—foot massage parlors, KTVs, and bars. They were all small, but they glowed with a purplish light—the kind of place Su Xing would never set foot in his entire life.
The car stopped in front of one of these establishments.
After they got out, Liang immediately drove the car away, apparently to find a place to park.
The man guarding Su Xing stood in place and lit a cigarette. He didn’t go into the shop right away, instead waiting by the door for Liang to return.
’He’s quite vigilant,’
Su Xing thought to himself.
’The guy knows they need to stick together. He might have a foul mouth, but he’s certainly cautious when it counts.’
Before long, Liang returned. Flanking Su Xing on his left and right, they escorted him inside.
It was a nightclub.
From the outside, it looked small, but business was booming. Every so often, fashionably dressed men and women could be seen heading inside.
Before walking in,
Su Xing looked up at the nightclub’s sign. Four large characters spelled out "Heaven on Earth."
Then, Su Xing glanced at a security camera in the corner. His brow furrowed slightly but quickly relaxed again.
