Although she had long anticipated that the Star Alliance would perform brilliantly in the war, the development of the situation still caught her somewhat off guard.
The Star Alliance’s performance in the war against Black Rope Tower even overshadowed that of the Ten Thousand Headed Bird.
Of the twenty-two planes controlled by Black Rope Tower, the Star Alliance captured ten, only two less than the Ten Thousand Headed Bird.
Given the initial disparity in power, what the Star Alliance achieved could be deemed a miracle.
Not to mention, the current strength of the Star Alliance is not much inferior to the Ten Thousand Headed Bird.
But what surprised Maisy the most was Sunan’s rapid improvement in strength.
As a True Spirit Wizard who controls laws, upon seeing Sunan for the first time, she immediately sensed the faint aura of the Power of Law on him.
Indeed, proof of perceiving the law!
This made Maisy silently marvel.
She remembered when the Starlight Continent’s plane blockade was just lifted, Sunan was only a Level 2 Crystallization Wizard.
Now, after only over eight hundred years, he had already broken through to become a Level 3 Crystallization Wizard and successfully perceived the law.
Looking across the entire multiverse, there was no wizard who could progress so rapidly as him!
Maisy’s congratulations were both for the Star Alliance’s victory in the war and for Sunan’s successful perception of the law.
The two exchanged a few pleasantries before Maisy brought up the main topic.
"You asked Blaise to see me, is there something you want?"
Sunan replied solemnly, "I would like to consult you on something, Lady Maisy."
"Please go ahead."
"Is there a way to increase one’s upper limit of bearing the Power of Law?"
After successfully perceiving the law, Sunan made numerous attempts to research how to increase the upper limit of bearing the Power of Law, but after investing considerable time and effort, it all came to naught.
After all, even in his past life, he hadn’t ascended to become a True Spirit Wizard, so his research into the Power of Law was quite limited.
After pondering back and forth, he decided it was better to consult professionals.
Upon hearing Sunan’s words, Maisy’s expression moved slightly, and she gave Sunan a thoughtful look.
Typically, Level 3 Crystallization Wizards wouldn’t ponder such a question.
After all, the bodies and souls of most Level 3 Crystallization Wizards are insufficient to bear more of the Power of Law; simply extracting a thread of the Power of Law from the Law Origin is enough for normal perception.
Only those few exceptionally talented individuals with profound accumulation would consider how to accommodate more Power of Law to accelerate their perception.
"There is indeed a way," Maisy said.
Sunan’s eyes brightened, and he said, "As long as you tell me, I can offer a reward that satisfies you."
Maisy lightly shook her head, "A reward isn’t necessary, it’s not considered very secret information, telling you is fine."
If it were someone else, Maisy might not be as agreeable.
But given Sunan and the Star Alliance’s potential, she was still happy to gain a favor.
"Do you know of the Apocalypse Potion?" Maisy asked.
Apocalypse Potion?
Sunan’s expression shifted slightly, recalling carefully, "I’ve heard of it. I remember it’s a special potion used by True Spirit Wizards to aid in perceiving the law?"
Maisy nodded gently, "Correct, the true effect of the Apocalypse Potion is to temporarily enhance a wizard’s affinity for the Power of Law, making it easier for a wizard to perceive the law. Essentially, it also boosts the upper limit of bearing the Power of Law, and Level 3 Crystallization Wizards can take it too."
Sunan’s gaze flickered.
He was aware of the Apocalypse Potion, but always assumed it was exclusively for True Spirit Wizards, hence he hadn’t considered it.
Now, with Maisy’s reminder, he suddenly understood.
However, his face soon darkened as he considered.
Considering that it’s a potion used by True Spirit Wizards, it would undoubtedly be exceptionally rare.
Especially since the potion can aid Level 3 Crystallization Wizards in perceiving the law, its value would undeniably be even higher.
Even if the Wisdom Code can produce such a potion, it definitely wouldn’t be sold externally, likely kept within.
How to obtain the Apocalypse Potion is a problem.
Seemingly understanding Sunan’s thoughts, Maisy said, "The Apocalypse Potion is extremely difficult to produce, with most materials being exceptionally rare, and only True Spirit Wizards can produce it, so its quantity is very limited. Even among True Spirit Wizards, it’s insufficient and is basically not sold externally."
She paused for a moment before adding another sentence.
"If you want it, perhaps you could try your luck in All Things City."
Sunan gave a thoughtful nod.
Indeed, it’s impossible to purchase the Apocalypse Potion from other wizard influences, leaving only All Things City as a possibility.
Ordinary businesses certainly don’t have it, but trying one’s luck at the three major associations might be fruitful.
Especially the Light Pavilion, as the Radiant Dragon there is famous for its many treasures; there just might be Apocalypse Potion.
With this in mind, Sunan felt reassured and smiled at Maisy, "I understand, thank you for enlightening me."
"You’re welcome," Maisy lightly shook her head, then shifted the topic, "Black Rope Tower has already collapsed. What are the Star Alliance’s plans next?"
"The Star Alliance has gained significantly from this war and needs a period of digestion. Moving forward, it’ll focus on development and won’t get involved in other matters."
Sunan glanced at Maisy and smiled:
"Moreover, speaking of which, the war should be ending soon."
Maisy gave him a surprised look, "You’re quite perceptive."
She did not deny it and said frankly, "Your speculation is correct. Various large-scale wizard influences are secretly negotiating. Currently, they are discussing the distribution of the Earth Crystal Plane’s Law Origin, and once consensus is reached, the war will immediately end."
It was indeed as he remembered.
Sunan felt slightly emotional.
The cause of the wizard civil war was the competition for the Law Origin of the Earth Crystal Plane among large-scale wizard influences.
Yet after such a grand battle, none of the large-scale wizard influences were significantly harmed, let alone annihilated.
If they could secure a share in the Law Origin, the war losses could be completely compensated.
Conversely, the second-and third-tier wizard influences involved suffered greatly, except for those like Ten Thousand Headed Bird and Star Alliance that captured many planes. Others with little or inadequate gains relative to the war damage were left severely weakened.
As for the influences like Black Rope Tower, Greenfield Association, Magic Cocoon Association, and Cliff Breaker Association, which were annihilated, ’unlucky’ doesn’t quite cover it.
In the multiverse, the concept of survival of the fittest and respect for the strong is indeed vividly exemplified.
After bidding farewell to Maisy, Sunan immediately dispatched people to go to All Things City’s All Things Home and True Law Hall to inquire about the availability of Apocalypse Potion.
If no results are found, he would personally visit the Light Pavilion.
After annihilating Black Rope Tower, the Star Alliance fully entered a period of digesting the fruits of war and ceased participating in any conflict.
As the war reached its final stages, the intensity abruptly increased to the extent that even the newly acquired seven planes, including the Tainuo Plane, were not yet completely controlled.
It’s estimated that fully controlling these seven planes and transforming them into driving forces for the Star Alliance’s development will take at least a few hundred years.
The Star Alliance is set to enter a period of rapid development and progress in the foreseeable future.
In the Starlight Calendar year 2808, the visible reduction in warfare among wizard influences was notable.
As various large-scale wizard influences called off engagements, other wizard influences sensed the war’s end and mutually agreed to cease hostilities.
In the Starlight Calendar year 2809, large-scale wizard influences seemingly reached a private agreement, unanimously ceasing warfare and retreating.
With the retreat of large-scale wizard influences, other wizard influences also exited the war.
The five-hundred-year-long internal wizard war thus officially came to a close.
The Wizard World reverted to tranquility.
Regarding the highly concerned topic of how the Law Origin of the Earth Crystal Plane would be distributed, all large-scale wizard influences kept tight-lipped, with no information leaking out.
Unconcerned with that, Sunan handed over Star Alliance’s affairs to his subordinates and focused entirely on cultivation.
The people sent to All Things City soon returned with disappointing news that neither All Things Home nor True Law Hall found Apocalypse Potion.
Resigned, Sunan resolved to personally visit All Things City.
