When the light faded, it was night.

He was dropped off on a street with nobody in sight.

Elias glanced around.

First thing that got him confused was why it was night. When he had left the desert, it was clearly morning. The wap didn’t take a minute. It made him question if he had been in his world all this while.

He summoned the system.

[World 0252: Qld]

[Name: Elias Morail]

[Age: 16]

[Height: 6’2"]

[Weight: 80kg]

[Species: Mortal?]

[Occupation: S rank raider]

[Status: Chosen/Sector seven sole survivor]

[Ability: Creation]

’Definitely my world.’

Something else caught his attention.

"Why is there a question mark on the species?"

He wasn’t really expecting an answer. He just look below.

[Number of mission: 0/10]

"This is getting messy." He turned around and began to walk the empty street.

"What mission is it taking about?"

"Give yourself a breathing space first yes?" Mona grumbled. "Enjoy the air that it isn’t a desert. No smell of blood,"

"There is smell of blood." Elias interrupted.

He had caught the smell immediately after he was dropped off. The sound smell that was almost suffocating. He could guess why the place was deserted.

"Ignore it." Mona scoffed. "Although, you might want to pay attention to those people staring at you."

Elias eyes only went side a little bit as he walked.

Behind the houses were some people staring at him. Most likely observing who he was and how he got here.

"Ignore it." It was Elias turn to snort.

He walked for a while, until he arrived at somewhere that looked like a little sanctuary. He could feel a life behind the door. The door was pushed shut, and they were signs of blood dragged across the floor.

It shows that whoever that gone in was injured and had barely dragged himself or herself in.

He pushed the door and walked in.

The place was fairly bright with numerous candle sticks, and Elias could see the silhouette of a man in the front.

"Lad. Have you come to confess?"

Elias raised a brow.

"Confess?"

The man chuckled softly. "I’m just making baseless words right? No one would visit a town run down by Nulls just to confess their sins."

Elias stepped closer.

"What’s a sin?"

The man flinched. He turned his head to stare at the boy who had now gotten to him.

"A violation of God’s will or rule."

"Someone made rules for you to follow?"

"Not just someone. He’s the creator of the whole universe."

Elias sat beside him.

"Who told you?"

"Huh?"

"Who told you that he created the universe?"

The man blinked. "It was written..."

"How does that make it true?"

The man narrowed his eyes. "What are you boy..."

"Why is the supposed creator a "He"?" Elias eyes were fixed on the candle but his eyes didn’t reflect it.

"Sorry?"

"Why is the supposed creator defined by gender?"

"It’s just..."

"You limited it yourself?" He looked at the man. "So the creator of the universe is what you want him or it or she to be."

"Boy..."

"That’s your perspective."

The man lean forward. "You..."

"What?"

"Nevermind." He leaned back and turned again to the table, lit with candle. He clasp his hand and shut his eyes.

Elias looked around the rundown building and back at the man.

"What are you doing?"

"Praying."

"What is praying?"

"Talking to the creator."

"How are you sure you’re talking to the creator?"

"It’s a feeling."

Elias looked around. "I don’t see any creator."

"You connect spiritually."

"Are the candles helping?"

"Yes..." The man laughed. He opened his eyes and glance at the boy. "You’re one curious child. What is your name?"

"Elias."

"You’re unnaturally tall. There is no way I’ll miss you if you’re from Mispi."

"Here is Mispi?"

"Yes."

"I came from black empire."

The man observed him a little longer before a visible flinch. "Black empire?"

"Yes."

"Are we going to war?"

"No."

"..."

"..."

The man turned away again and continue to pray, while Elias stared at the blood pulling beneath the man’s sitting spot. It was already a miracle that he was still alive.

"What happened?"

"Numerous portals opened and Nulls suddenly came flooding. The numbers were outrageous." The man replied with his eyes closed.

"You’re the only one left?"

"Yes. The rest evacuated."

"And why are you here?"

The man clasp his hand tighter. "I’ll continue to pray. May the creator grant my request and intervene in our time of problems."

"Fight for you?"

The man didn’t answer. He just continue to mutter inaudible words.

Elias scratched his head. Then, he went silent.

They sat still all night. Elias eventually dozed off, head falling against the man’s shoulder.

The man stiffened up for a moment, then sighed loudly.

The clock on the wall continue to tick.

After a period of four hours, Elias eyes parted. He sat straight abruptly.

"Let me be clear."

The man narrowed his eyes, clearly not understanding how Elias chose to start a conversation immediately after he woke up.

Elias turned to him, and grasp his shoulder, looking into his eyes.

"If am your creator."

The man twitched.

"I created the whole universe and this particular world, which happens to be among many other worlds I also created,"

He leaned even closer.

"And I created you, mister, whose’s name I don’t know, among billions of names I don’t know. You already have your life, ability and brain, and somehow you want me to fight the Nulls for you?"

The man gasped.

Elias titled his head. "Isn’t that a disgrace to me who created you?"

Elias’s words seem to untangle a string in the man’s head. He sat frozen, staring at the strange boy who had suddenly showed up and brought down his defenses.

"That’s..."

All his nerves relaxed. He lowered his head and smiled.

"How refreshing..."

Elias withdrawal his hand.

The man glanced at the candles again.

"I guess I have misunderstood my existence and have been too reliant. I certainly didn’t hope to disgrace my creator, Omeo."

Elias twitched. "O..meo?" He grasp the man’s shoulder. "Tell him about him. Hurry!"

"The lord of the void...Om..eo." The man’s eye’s went shut.

"Boy, my soul will remember your words."
