"How do you think this looks?" Minx asked as she turned to Creara.
While Ash and Aurora kept themselves occupied beneath the mountain, time seemed to slip by quickly.
Just as Ash had told the little boy who was once the Primordial Divide, the Land of Taboo was expected to be completed within a few years.
Yet now, two years had passed, and the realm still remained unfinished.
This was peculiar, considering each of these beings possessed the ability to create entire cosmologies with nothing more than a single thought.
Even so, the ineffable seemed to be indulging in a touch of perfectionism.
Creara tilted her head slightly, her black and red hair drifting lazily in the conceptual breeze as she looked down at the portion of the Taboo Land Minx had been creating.
The land that stretched out beneath before them was beyond vast— a beautiful but barren plain of soft, rolling hills covered in pale, green grass that shimmered faintly under a blue sky.
Crystal-clear water streams wound gently through the landscape, their surfaces reflecting the beautiful blue sky above.
Though like mentioned... the place was quite barren. As there were no trees, no mountains, no forests — only the endless, serene plain and the quiet flow of water.
Creara shook her head with a small, fond sigh.
"This is not what he meant by Old Earth," she said, her voice carrying a gentle teasing tone.
Minx rolled her eyes, crossing her arms as she hovered nearby.
"It’s not like I’ve actually been to a world like that," she said, her voice carrying a mix of defensiveness and playful teasing.
"I’ve been piecing things together from bits of knowledge and fragments of memories from you and the others. This was the best I could come up with given what I had to work with."
Though Minx had a talent for traveling and handing out gifts across existence, her presence only reached so far.
It wasn’t that she was truly limited, but rather that Earth—and most worlds—were simply too far beneath her notice, as she had never even considered visiting one.
Creara giggled softly, her eyes glinting with amusement.
"It’s about time I got some work done," she said, stretching her arms overhead. In truth, not a bit of work had been done in the past two years.
She’d been far too occupied with Unara, spying on a certain duo. The thought made her puff out a playful huff.
"Hmph, and now he’s even let Isis join... they’re having all the fun while we’re stuck working."
Though she didn’t really mind, she knew that if she had taken charge from the very start, this entire realm would have been completed by now.
Still, she had no intention of doing all the work herself.
Her role was to shape the geography and craft the natural features, leaving the true purpose and essence of this land to be created by others.
With a graceful leap, Creara glided forward over the desolate terrain, and as she moved, the lifeless world beneath her began to shift and change before her eyes.
HUMMMM!!!!
The wide, empty plain rippled like water.
Ancient forests of towering trees with bark like stone and leaves of shimmering emerald and gold sprouted from the ground in rapid bursts.
Majestic mountains rose in the distance, their peaks capped with eternal snow that glowed under a newly formed sky.
Rivers widened into mighty waterways teeming with ancient fish and glowing aquatic creatures.
Creara spun gracefully in the skies above the transforming land, her black and red hair whipping wildly around her face as she laughed with pure, unrestrained delight.
Her eyes sparkled with joy and creative passion, the corners of her mouth curved into a wide, radiant smile.
It wasn’t simply the act of shaping a new realm or breathing life into barren earth that stirred her deepest excitement.
No, aside from her intimate moments with Ash, the thing she loved most was fulfilling his desires.
From the very beginning, she had existed to ensure his wants never needed to be voiced.
And in moments like these, as his Divine Fulfillment, she felt utterly alive — every movement of her body, every flick of her fingers, channeling her emotions into the world below.
"Next," she said, her voice bright and full of anticipation, "the beasts of this realm."
With a playful twirl, she stretched out her hands, and the land below reacted at once.
HUMMMMM!!!
Instead of simple recreations of Earth’s archaic creatures, Creara crafted something far more magnificent.
Ancient dragons emerged from the mountains, unlike any dragons known in other realms.
They were beings forged from the purest essence and purpose of this world itself.
Dao essence flowed through them — their scales glimmering with runes that embodied their path, their bodies shaped from condensed primordial divinity instead of mere flesh.
RRROAAAARRRRRRR!!!!
Their roars echoed with the weight of ancient truths, shaking the heart of the Taboo Land as they rose into the skies.
Towering, mammoths with stone bodies and glowing Dao essence wandered the plains, each step sending waves of steadying power through the earth.
Saber-toothed tigers appeared with fur woven from the flow of time’s Dao essence, their claws slicing trails of frozen moments into the air.
Enormous feathered terror birds glided above on wings of pure spatial Dao, eyes blazing with the relentless drive of pursuit and inevitability.
Creara continued to spin and laugh, her joy infectious as she poured her creativity into every detail, ensuring each beast was not just strong, but a true embodiment of the Dao.
Yet... what exactly was the Dao?
----
While Minx and Creara dealt with the geography of the Taboo Realm, Elysia and Unara were both working on giving this place actual purpose.
The two women floated together in the vast, still-forming expanse, their presence calm yet deeply focused as they observed the newly shaped land below.
And once Creara had begun breathing life into this realm, the air was filled with the pure, primal fragrance of fresh earth, wildflowers, and the raw promise of untamed potential.
Unara tilted her head just a little, her voice gentle and reflective as she turned her gaze toward Elysia.
"How should we implement the Dao into the Taboo Realm?" she asked, her tone carrying genuine curiosity.
"We need to find a unique way to make the Dao learnable to all beings... something that fits this place’s nature."
