Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 724: Ash Vs the Failed Protagonist (2)

"You know..." Ash muttered as he caught himself mid-air, brushing a stray strand of hair from his face with casual grace.

"NovelGeek... I was just talking to the readers about how I shouldn’t be struggling anymore."

NovelGeek2 smiled lazily from the side, popping another slice of pineapple into his mouth with deliberate slowness.

Juice dripped down his chin as he chewed, acting completely oblivious, as if he were merely watching a casual spar rather than the clash of two monstrous existences.

Set’s red eyes narrowed dangerously, his wide grin twisting into a snarl of irritation.

"How arrogant of you... You plan to ignore me?" he growled, voice thick with psychotic rage.

In that moment, the two massive illusory eyes behind him blinked once.

WHOOSH!

Set appeared behind Ash in a blur of motion, striking viciously at the weakest point in his posture with lethal, predatory precision.

There was no chance Set would land another attack on Ash with such precision again.

The first hit could only be explained by the fact that he had unveiled a new ability.

But from this brief exchange, it became clear to Ash that nothing truly new was being used—Set was simply mimicking Ash’s own powers and then turning them back on him with sharper efficiency.

Yet that tactic had already been factored into Ash’s battle strategy. And now, in this instant, Ash’s body reacted entirely on instinct.

He shifted slightly, the punch grazing past his shoulder as he countered with a casual backhand.

BOOOOOM!!!!

The blow connected with Set’s ribs, sending him staggering.

Set recovered instantly, laughing madly as he spun and launched a barrage of strikes — fists wreathed in chaotic energy, each one aiming for vital points.

SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!

Yet... it was all meaningless as Ash flowed through them like water, dodging with minimal movement, then at the most optimal point... he countered with a sharp elbow to the jaw.

CRACK!

Set’s head jerked back, but instead of faltering, he laughed even harder, his eyes gleaming with wild excitement.

"Damn! You’ve got some serious speed!" he snarled, those strange illusory eyes flickering once more before he suddenly reappeared above Ash, plummeting down with a crushing overhead blow.

Ash merely tilted his head, calmly lifting one hand to snatch the incoming fist out of the air.

The collision erupted with a shockwave that rippled through the void, and with a smooth twist, Ash used Set’s own force to hurl him into the endless white floor below.

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The impact carved a massive crater into the fabric of the void, sending violent tremors racing outward like cracks across reality itself.

And... Ash didn’t wait.

He floated upward with calm grace, hands slipping casually into his pockets as he glanced toward NovelGeek2 with a small, almost playful smile.

"This was fun while it lasted."

NovelGeek2 only smiled back, popping another pineapple slice into his mouth.

Snap!

In that moment, Ash snapped his fingers.

Above the rising Set, a colossal ball of flames materialized — a raging inferno infused with every power Ash felt like using in that instant. Devouring Essence, Weapons Essence, Quantum Power, Dark Matter, and countless more layered into a single, apocalyptic orb of annihilation.

One moment, it was just there, quietly present as if it had always been part of the scenery.

Then, without warning, it began to drift downward, breaking the stillness and changing everything in an instant.

WHIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

Set was swallowed up in an instant, the flames raging with relentless ferocity as they tore through him, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake.

The two enormous, ghostly red eyes hovering behind him seemed to cry out in silence, their eerie glow flickering before they too were scorched away, dissolving into nothingness until not even a trace of ash lingered.

Ash slid his hands back into his pockets, his expression calm as he turned to look at the ever-calm Author.

However, NovelGeek2 simply gestured lazily toward the place where Set had fallen, the air still heavy with the memory of the moment.

Then from the emptiness, a sudden burst of black light surged forth, splitting the darkness with its eerie glow.

HUMMMMMMM!!!!

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

The maddening laughter returned, louder and more unhinged than before.

Set reformed in an instant, his body knitting back together as if death had been nothing more than a minor inconvenience.

He rolled his shoulders, red eyes glinting with unhinged amusement.

"Not bad at all," he chuckled, praising Ash with genuine enthusiasm. "You actually took me out for a moment there. I’m impressed."

His grin widened as he tilted his head.

"So, Ash... did you use every trick you had in that shot?"

He didn’t give Ash any time to respond—the question had been rhetorical from the start.

Before Ash could reply, Set blinked.

HUMMMMMM!!!!!!

In that moment, millions of the same apocalyptic orbs appeared around Ash in an instant — each one even more intensified, burning with overwhelming, layered power.

Seeing this Ash’s eyes narrowed, "You just can’t be original, huh?" He muttered at the same time he moved.

He flowed through the storm of destruction with terrifying grace.

He sidestepped each blazing orb with effortless precision, springing onto a few like stepping stones and riding their momentum to surge ahead.

The white void flared with blast after blast as the orbs erupted harmlessly around him, not a single one grazing his body.

In the same moment, another Ash appeared directly behind Set, tapping him lightly on the shoulder.

"Well, I must say... I can understand why you failed as a protagonist," the clone whispered into his ear.

And the moment his words ended, the Ash that appeared simply blinked before Set could even turn around.

BOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!

Set’s head combusted in a violent burst of energy and essence.

However, shortly after, two more Sets materialized from the void — each one grinning with the same unhinged madness.

Ash glanced sideways at NovelGeek2, a slight frown creasing his brow.

"Did you only make this guy to be the ultimate copycat or something?"

NovelGeek2 let out a low chuckle, still lounging casually with his joint and pineapple slices.

"Well, something like that."
