For many years after achieving everything he had ever set out to do, Ash’s retirement began just as one might expect.
For three hundred cycles, he fully embraced the peaceful pleasures of eternity.
He spent endless days and nights wrapped in the arms of his wives, their laughter and whispered conversations filling the golden halls of the Origin Realm.
With Vaeloria and Nia, he would lie beneath the ever-shifting skies, their bodies entwined as they shared stories of old battles and softer, more intimate moments.
Katherine would challenge him to sparring matches that always ended in passionate embraces. At the same time, Raven would tease him with her sharp wit before pulling him into quiet, tender nights filled with deep conversation and even deeper connection.
Also, the other wives tugged him in every direction, but his daughters gave him a different kind of joy.
They were all powerful, confident women who carried pieces of his spirit.
He would walk with them through the blooming gardens of Pantheos, listening to their stories and sharing quiet moments of laughter and reflection.
In the evenings, he would sit with them by the eternal sea, watching the waves as they spoke of their lives and the futures they were building.
These moments were filled with warmth and closeness — simple, profound love that needed no teaching, only presence.
With the rest of the clan, he indulged in the simple pleasures of family.
He would spar with his sons under the light of the four suns, their clashes shaking the ground, always ending in proud laughter and shared meals.
He would sit with Clara for hours, helping her craft new prophecies that danced across Pantheos like living poems.
With the spirits, he shared quiet moments of reflection, watching them play and love in their own ways, their bond as strong as ever.
It was a time of peace, love, and quiet contentment — the kind of eternity he had always fought for.
----
Five hundred cycles later — a total of eight hundred cycles since the destruction of the Source —
Ash sat with Minx on a soft, golden overlook above the Origin Realm.
He was not in his human form.
Instead, he appeared as a beautiful phoenix perched on Minx’s shoulder, his feathers glowing with shifting hues of black, white, and gold.
Before them stood Akashi, the daughter of Minx and Ash.
She appeared no more than sixteen, with light brown skin that glowed with youthful vitality and long black-and-white hair that cascaded down her back like flowing rivers of night and starlight.
Her eyes were ever-changing — shifting from current moments to infinity symbols, clocks, and galaxies in constant, beautiful motion.
Akashi was pouting, her arms crossed as she looked at Minx with clear frustration.
"Daddy still hasn’t shown me his true form," she complained, her voice carrying a mix of longing and annoyance.
"It’s not fair."
Minx laughed softly, reaching up to gently stroke Ash’s feathers.
"Well... It’s for your own good, little one."
Ash chimed in, his voice warm and resonant even in his phoenix form.
"There’s a reason for that, Akashi." He said that over time, it wasn’t just Minx—as the other spirits had their children too.
Over time, he found ways to ensure his younger daughters weren’t as fixated on him as the others were.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want to love them, but he wanted to avoid making future relationships awkward.
Besides, he was already content with the number of women in his life—not to mention the Valkyries, the concubines, and Nia’s eternal guard.
"As you see... long ago I made a wager with a certain author on who could create the best character in his Pantheon."
Akashi’s eyes sparkled with sudden curiosity, her ever-changing gaze shifting rapidly between galaxies and infinity symbols. She had always loved the stories her father told her over the years, hanging on every word as if they were treasures. Whispers of him crafting new novels had only deepened her fascination.
"Really?" she asked, leaning forward eagerly. "Tell me everything."
Ash shifted slightly on Minx’s shoulder, his phoenix feathers glowing with warm, shifting colors as he recounted the conversation with NovelGeek2 — the wager, the challenge, the promise of something greater.
His voice was gentle, resonant, carrying the weight of eternity.
"My main character will be your son," he said softly. "My grandson."
Akashi’s excitement vanished in an instant. Her face flushed with indignation, her light brown skin darkening as she crossed her arms.
"I’m not having a child from another man!" she declared, voice sharp with outrage.
Minx burst into bright, warm laughter, covering her mouth as her shoulders shook. "Fufufu~ Love, I told you so."
Snap!
But Minx then snapped her fingers with a playful glint in her eyes.
In that moment, a mythical egg of all colors materialized before them, hovering gently in the air.
It shimmered with beautiful, ever-shifting hues — deep crimsons bleeding into golds, violets swirling into silvers — pulsing with latent life and boundless potential.
Ash continued gently, his phoenix form tilting its head.
"I’m definitely not asking you to. All you need to do is offer half of your essence... and I will also offer some of mine."
Akashi paused, her ever-changing eyes widening with surprise.
Then a mischievous smile slowly spread across her face, her voice turning playful.
"Hmm... doesn’t this mean we will have a child together...?"
Ash chirped softly, clearly trying to sidestep the topic.
"Just add the essence, Akashi."
Akashi only laughed, the sound light and full of affection as she stepped forward.
She reached out, her hand gently touching the mythical egg.
Her essence flowed into it in a soft, glowing stream — warm, vibrant, and filled with love.
The moment they both added their essence, the mythical egg pulsed with a brilliant, harmonious light.
HUMMMM!!!
A soft, warm glow enveloped Akashi, Minx, and Ash, and in the blink of an eye, they vanished.
They found themselves in a new Minor Existence—an endless, empty void stretching infinitely in every direction.
It was nothing but pure, untouched potential, a blank canvas waiting to be formed.
Ash, still in his phoenix form and perched on Minx’s shoulder, spoke softly. "There are a few more things you should know, Akashi."
Her expression shifted as he explained....
She would need to create an entire Minor Existence — up to the Multiversal Level — and at that point, connect it to the Main Hub of Pantheos.
The task was immense, requiring her full focus and power.
Akashi’s eyes widened slightly, a mix of determination and frustration crossing her face.
"That... that will take time," she murmured, her ever-changing gaze flickering with uncertainty.
Minx offered a wry smile, her tone gentle yet resolute.
"The bulk of your time... will only be waiting until your son is strong enough to reach Pantheos."
Akashi’s shoulders dipped, a shadow of sadness passing over her face. Before she could reply, Ash spoke again, his voice soft.
"My love... It’s okay. Everyone will be visiting until then."
Finally, Ash extended a wing, and a swirling pink and purple essence materialized — the source of lust he had claimed at the very beginning of his journey.
It pulsed with raw, seductive power, shimmering with countless possibilities.
"And... while you’re at it. Make something special of this," he said, his voice gentle.
In the next moment, Ash and Minx vanished, leaving Akashi alone in the empty void.
She stood there for a long moment, staring at the mythical egg floating before her. A slow, soft smile formed on her lips as she whispered to herself.
"Akasha... you will be Akasha."
