"Husband... wake up. Elfaria just entered the Spirit Realm-!"
Klein only made a low, sleepy sound in response.
He tightened his arm around her waist and pulled himself closer, burying his face even more between her breasts.
"Nnh... five more minutes..." he mumbled against her skin, completely oblivious.
"Irakiel!" Orpheus tried to push at his shoulders, but he only hugged her tighter.
She continued trying to shake him awake in panic "Husband! Elfaria is already in the realm. Get up!"
Klein only made a low, muffled sound against her chest.
"...Then just... bring her here already..."
Orpheus froze "...What?"
He nuzzled deeper between her breasts, "Mm... bring Elfaria... ’s fine..."
For a second Orpheus simply stared down at the top of his head.
A complicated mixture of disbelief, panic, and rising embarrassment crossed her face.
"...You said it yourself," she muttered under her breath.
A deep blush spread across her cheeks as she raised one hand.
Soft spirit light gathered at her fingertips.
Swoosh.
Elfaria appeared in the middle of the wooden house.
The High Elf’s boots touched the floorboards with a soft sound.
Her long white hair settled around her shoulders as the spatial transfer completed.
She opened her mouth, clearly prepared to greet Orpheus...
And then she saw the bed.
Klein was still half-asleep with his face completely buried between Orpheus’s breasts.
The sheets were tangled around their lower bodies, leaving little to the imagination about how closely they had been sleeping.
Orpheus sat propped against the headboard, flushed to the tips of her ears, with her husband clinging to her chest.
Absolute silence.
Elfaria’s eyes went wide as her pupils shrank in shock.
Whatever words she had been about to speak died instantly in her throat.
"...What."
Orpheus cleared her throat, still bright red, and looked at Elfaria "...He told me to bring you," she said weakly.
On the bed, Klein made another sleepy sound and squeezed Orpheus’s breasts, still completely unaware that the woman from his past life was now standing a few steps away, staring at the scene in pure shock.
Elfaria’s eye twitched as she glared at orpheus "...Mother, what the hell is happening here?"
Orpheus straightened slightly against the headboard while trying to gather whatever dignity she could salvage as she answered in a rushed, slightly panicked tone.
"H-He was cultivating and I... you know... I just helped stabilize his mana circulation."
Elfaria slowly turned her head, "Hoh? Stabilizing his mana? What kind of cultivation were you doing exactly... dual cultivation?"
Orpheus blinked, clearly thrown off as she tilted her head slightly, "...Eh?"
Elfaria closed her eyes and facepalmed herself as she realized she was dealing with an entirely different level of innocence than expected.
Elfaria walked forward and raised her hand before delivering a firm slap directly across Klein’s exposed ass.
"Wake up, Irakiel."
Klein blinked against Orheus’s breasts, still a bit disoriented in half-sleep. "Dear..."
Elfaria’s jaw dropped ’D-Dear?’
She immediately pointed at Orpheus "First move those jugs from his face, you damned mother."
Orpheus, still flushed to the tips of her ears, carefully slid her hands under Klein’s head and lifted him away from her chest.
The moment the soft pressure of her breasts left his face, Klein’s eyes opened more fully.
He sat up, and before doing anything else, he leaned over and pressed a short kiss against Orpheus’s lips.
Orpheus returned it reflexively, then immediately looked away in embarrassment under Elfaria’s stare.
Only then did Klein turn toward Elfaria, standing beside the bed.
His hair was messy, and there were faint marks on his neck.
The sheets were still tangled around his waist.
And yet he looked at Elfaria with a faint smile on his lips "Good morning, Ria."
Elfaria stared at him.
Then at Orpheus.
Then back at him.
Her eye twitched "That is the first thing you have to say?"
Klein scratched the back of his head lightly with a chuckle, still looking more sleepy than concerned
Orpheus quietly pulled the sheet higher over her chest, clearly wishing she could sink through the bed and disappear.
He reached out, caught Elfaria by the wrist, and pulled her forward.
Elfaria let out a sharp yelp of surprise as her balance broke. In the next instant she toppled onto the bed and landed squarely across his lap.
"Irakiel-!"
Klein steadied her with one arm around her waist so she wouldn’t immediately scramble away.
Then, he leaned in and pressed a light kiss against her cheek.
"Some things happened," he muttered near her ear. "So we ended up together."
Elfaria frowned slightly as she looked back at Orpheus for a moment "I want to know what kind of thing happened that made you fuck her."
With a sigh, Klein began to explain what happened.
---
After hearing everything, Elfaria’s eyes narrowed further "Aphrodisiac?..."
Orpheus, who was behind her muttered "It must be that woman Eleanor... she must have done something."
Klein opened his mouth to speak, but then he closed his lips and stayed silent.
Noticing this, Elfaria’s gaze condensed ’Huh... don’t tell me...’
She turned to look at Orpheus and spoke "Mother, can you leave us alone for a moment... I have some things to discuss with my cheating man here."
Orpheus, who had been dying to escape the awkward situation from the very second Elfaria appeared, agreed almost too quickly.
"Sure, sure. You must have a lot to talk about."
As Orpheus disappeared, Elfaria turned in his lap and cupped his face with both hands, makinghim look into her eyes.
"Irakiel... I am going to ask you something, and you have to be truthful."
Klein stared at her for a moment before nodding slowly "...Alright."
"Who was the one who put the aphrodisiac in the cake?"
Klein glanced away for a moment "Well..."
He knows that if he told her that there are even more Zenith gods associated with him right now, she will definitely get worried.
She gently caressed his cheek with her thumb "I know when you lie, Irakiel..."
Klein closed his eyes for a moment, then shook his head and met her gaze again "I.._ think its Eleanor."
Her gaze quivered "...It’s something related to a god, isn’t it?"
Klein: ’Shit.’
He quickly shook his head "No, no... why would it be related to a god? It’s just Eleanor messing with me."
"Which god is it?" her voice sharpened immediately, her fingers tightening slightly against him.
"Was it those Nomad Gods? Was it those fuckers? Did they find you? Tell me, Irakiel."
Her voice rose in anger "Are you still trying to get revenge... for that Zrryha?" her eyes trembled.
"Are you still obsessed with that damned fucking bitch?"
"Irakiel, tell me."
Klein reached out before she could spiral further and caught her wrist, pulling her slightly closer so she couldn’t look away from him.
"No, Ria... listen."
But she didn’t stop.
"Don’t ’Ria’ me right now."
"You died once because of that war. Because of her. Because of those gods. And now you’re sitting here telling me an aphrodisiac just ’happened’ and a Saintess is the only one involved? Do you think I can’t feel it when you hide something from me?"
Her chest rose unevenly "Stop dodging it. You hesitated. You never hesitate unless it matters."
Klein exhaled slowly and for a brief moment, he didn’t speak.
That silence alone made her expression tighten further.
"...Irakiel."
He closed his eyes again for just a second, then opened them, this time without avoiding her gaze.
"I’m not chasing revenge. Not for Zrryha or anyone."
Her fingers loosened just slightly, "Then what is it? Because something is there."
Klein held her gaze.
Then, instead of answering directly, his hand shifted from her wrist to her fingers, holding them more gently now.
"...It’s not something that’s going to harm you," he said.
That only made her frown deepen.
"That’s not an answer."
"I know."
Silence stretched again.
"...Irakiel," she whispered this time, and there was something different in her voice now, something that was less angry and more... afraid.
"If something like that is happening again... you don’t get to keep me out of it."
Klein’s eyes softened slightly at that "I’m not keeping you out,"
"You are," she shot back immediately. "You’re deciding what I should and shouldn’t know."
"...Because I know how you’ll react," he said calmly.
"And you’re wrong for thinking I can’t handle it?" she replied without hesitation.
Her fingers tightened slightly against his face.
"Irakiel... don’t hide things from me. Is it that Azara? Did she do something...?"
Klein’s gaze flickered for a split second.
"See... look at me..." she murmured, brushing her thumb lightly along his cheek, "Look at me, Irakiel..."
Her voice softened further, almost trembling now, and the anger that had flared moments ago melted.
"Please don’t get involved with those gods..."
"...we already lived a harsh life," she whispered, "I don’t want that again..."
Her gaze dropped for a brief moment before lifting back to look at him, and this time there was no anger left in it, only fear.
"I just want to live peacefully... and spend time with you in this life."
