The explosion drew most of the soldiers in the Imperial Palace away, so Adrian and his group got out much faster than they got in.

The vehicle waiting outside was ready. As soon as Adrian got Josie in, the car sped off.

Adrian turned his head to look behind the car, and no one was following.

"Drive faster!" Even though no one was following, Adrian still instructed his subordinate to speed up.

"Yes, Sixth Master!"

At four-thirty in the morning, there were few vehicles on the road. Drunkards lay sound asleep on the roadside, intoxicated beyond measure.

The car drove for about ten minutes, and they encountered a dozen police cars. It seemed these police cars were heading to the Palace.

"Sixth Master, where are we going now? Back to Desmond Manor?"

"Directly to the dock!" Adrian ordered.

Adrian kept holding Josie’s hand tightly and hadn’t let go throughout the journey.

Adrian had apprehensions. He wanted to know if Night Owl had "bullied" her, to what extent, but dared not ask, fearing to hear what he least wanted to hear.

Meanwhile, Sienna Johnson’s silence made Adrian all the more uneasy.

Josie was equally anxious, fearing that Adrian would discover a flaw, so she remained silent during the journey.

"We’re going back to Sileria City now," Adrian told Josie as they approached the dock.

"Mm." Josie responded softly.

Her hand, held by Adrian, was slightly damp with sweat from nervousness. Thinking that this man would be hers in the future made Josie’s heart race uncontrollably.

"Don’t be afraid, I won’t lose you again," Adrian promised her.

"Mm." Josie replied softly.

Adrian looked at Josie. In the dimly lit car, he gazed at the exceptionally quiet woman, assuming she had been taken advantage of by Night Owl and didn’t know how to face him, hence her unusual silence. He didn’t dare to speak carelessly, fearing to say the wrong thing.

...

Upon reaching the dock, the car stopped, and Adrian personally carried Sienna Johnson out of the car. He was very close to her and was about to lower his head to kiss her when his keen sense of smell detected something was amiss.

This woman’s perfume was indeed what Sienna used to favor, but her body’s scent was not Sienna’s.

Everyone’s body has its unique scent.

Sienna Johnson’s unique scent was something Adrian could not mistake.

A woman who looked exactly like Sienna but had a different body scent.

"Adrian, what’s wrong?" Josie saw him holding her motionless and staring at her, causing her to feel uneasy, fearing that Adrian had discovered something.

"Nothing, just wondering how the twins are doing. You’ve been away so long, do they still recognize you?"

"I’m their mother; of course, they recognize me." Just two little infants, she didn’t believe she couldn’t handle them.

"Really?" Four children are not easy to handle.

Adrian carried the woman off the car, leaned closer to her, and took a careful sniff, then stared at the woman’s face. The dock light was too dim for Adrian to see clearly.

"Why are you staring at me?" Josie asked shyly.

"You’re very beautiful!"

Josie’s face turned even redder, and she softly muttered, "You’re teasing!"

Without expression, Adrian carried the woman onto the boat and into the cabin.

Adrian left her in the cabin without saying a word and walked out.

He initially planned to sail back directly to Sileria City, but now Adrian changed his mind and headed for the Unnamed Island.

Aaron Faber noticed Adrian changed course and came to ask him, "Why are we going to the Unnamed Island? Weren’t we heading straight back to Sileria City after rescuing Madam?"

Aaron wanted to go back to see Samara too.

"I suspect the woman we rescued tonight is fake."

Aaron was shocked, but the woman was exactly like Madam. Could there really be two such similar people in the world?

"Impossible, right? They look as if they were carved from the same mold... Even Madam and Samara, as biological sisters, have differences."

"The scent is different!"

"What?"

"Aaron, don’t you think tonight’s rescue went too smoothly?"

"Huh?"

"We came out of the Palace with no pursuers at all. It’s as if Night Owl couldn’t wait for me to take that woman away."

Aaron said, "We blew up that building, wasn’t Night Owl inside it? Maybe Night Owl is faking his death now."

Adrian didn’t think Night Owl was so easy to deal with, just like Sienna often said, good people don’t live long, troublemakers last a thousand years.

"Soon, I’ll know whether she’s real or fake."

"How will you check?"

Adrian didn’t answer, leaving Aaron Faber as he left.

...

By the third day, Adrian had the test report.

The method Adrian used was simple, a DNA test. The face could deceive, but the DNA test couldn’t.

The result showed that the woman had no maternal relationship with the twins.

Aaron Faber was equally shocked by the test result. Adrian’s face was gloomy, more terrifying than the stormy weather outside.

"Sixth Master, what do you plan to do with that woman?"

"Night Owl sent me a big gift, I naturally have to use it well."

Night Owl’s intentions were truly sinister. Sienna is particularly possessive. If he really mistook someone and slept with the impostor, Sienna’s character would certainly create a rift.

Suddenly, Adrian stood up, holding the test report, and went to the cabin.

Josie was combing her hair, and seeing Adrian, she turned around and smiled at him. Adrian almost thought it was Sienna smiling at him.

"Adrian, where did you go?"

It was really damn similar. If it weren’t for his keen sense of smell discovering this woman’s flaw, he’d have really fallen into Night Owl’s trap.

"Who are you?"

Josie shook her head and asked, "Adrian, who am I? Don’t you know? I’m Sienna Johnson."

"..."

"What’s with you?"

Adrian slammed the test report into her face. Josie asked puzzledly, "What’s this?"

Seeing the words "DNA Test Report" on it, Josie’s face changed.

She naturally looked like Sienna, and through cosmetic adjustments, she made herself almost identical to Sienna. Sienna was too beautiful, and she loved her current face very much. Then she repeatedly watched videos, imitating Sienna’s every move, even the arc of her smile was done to be consistent...

However, she couldn’t change her genes.

Sienna has four children; a DNA test would reveal her true identity.

She just didn’t know how Adrian discovered her identity?

Faced with ironclad evidence, Josie didn’t argue and straightforwardly admitted, "I am Josie, Night Owl’s subordinate."

"Where’s Sienna Johnson?"

"I don’t know."

Seeing Adrian’s disbelief, Josie laughed, "What I said is true. I’m just a pawn in Night Owl’s hands."
