This marks the end of the story—for now. My mind currently doesn't have the room or energy to keep writing it, so this is where we part ways with this journey. Even if the broader universe isn't entirely "finished," my part in telling it has concluded for the moment.

How This Story Came to Be

The idea behind writing this novel started because I used to read a massive amount of translated Eastern fiction—Chinese, Japanese, and Korean novels, webtoons, manhwas, and anime. Over time, I noticed a pattern: some stories ended abruptly halfway through, while others dragged on endlessly until their quality completely deteriorated. I wanted to put myself in those authors' shoes and experience what it takes to build a long-form story. More than anything, I wanted to create a world that was truly my own.

This isn't the first novel I’ve ever written, but it is by far the one I love the most and the one I poured the most time, soul, and energy into.

What The Chronicle of the Last Bloom Is Really About

This book isn't about traditional tropes or fast-paced action. It asks deeper questions: What lies beyond death? What do our rawest emotions and memories mean? While mundane moments exist, they are not the true core of the story.

Although there is a central protagonist, the cast isn't just a collection of background decorations or names mentioned once. Every character has been written as if they were the main character of their own book—each carrying their own past, surviving their own present, and walking toward their own future. Eremos is simply the thread that binds them all together, allowing us to connect with the unique world built from scratch.
