Chapter 223: Chapter 223: The Treasures of the S-Rank Dungeon

Ares brought Vina toward the section of the headquarters where several members of the Order were gathered, intending to introduce her properly before assigning her a place within the organization.

The moment they entered the room, the women inside turned their attention toward them, their expressions becoming curious when they noticed that Ares had brought someone they had never seen before.

Ares stopped beside Vina and addressed them calmly.

"Before I leave, there is someone I want all of you to become acquainted with. This is Vina, and from today onward, she will be working alongside you as a member of the Eclipsed Order."

Vina stepped forward and offered a respectful bow.

"It is a pleasure to meet all of you. Master has entrusted me with becoming part of your group, and I intend to fulfill my responsibilities to the best of my ability. I hope we can work together without unnecessary difficulties."

The women exchanged brief glances before turning their attention back toward Vina.

Ares continued, providing the explanation that would make her position within the Order clear.

"Vina is not joining the organization merely as another combatant. Before receiving my power, she was already a Transcendent, and her evolution afterward made her considerably stronger than she was before. However, her greatest value to the Order will not necessarily come from fighting."

Vina remained composed as Ares continued.

"Vina is a powerful Brood Mother, and one of her natural abilities is the production of extremely high-quality spider silk. Her silk is far beyond ordinary materials in both durability and quality, which makes it exceptionally valuable."

One of the women looked toward Vina with renewed interest.

"So her primary responsibility will be producing silk for the Order?"

"That’s right."

Ares nodded.

"The silk she produces will be processed and used wherever the Order requires it, whether for clothing, protective equipment, specialized materials, or other purposes. Considering the quality of her silk, there is no need for her to concern herself with ordinary production. We will only use the highest-grade material she can produce."

Vina nodded calmly.

"I have no objection to that arrangement. Producing silk is a natural part of my existence, so I do not consider it an unreasonable responsibility."

Ares smiled slightly.

"There is one more condition."

He gestured toward the headquarters around them.

"Your work will be compensated through the facilities here, and you will have access to the same resources available to the other members of the Order."

Vina looked at him with a faintly curious expression.

"What form of compensation did you have in mind, Master?"

Ares answered without hesitation.

"Food."

Vina stared at him for a moment.

"Food?"

"Yes. The headquarters has an unlimited supply of food, so you can eat whatever you want whenever you want. You will not need to worry about running out of supplies, and there is no requirement for you to restrict yourself to a particular menu."

Vina’s expression remained composed, although a slight change in her eyes suggested that she was considerably more interested than she had initially been.

"If that is the arrangement, then I have no complaints whatsoever."

Ares gave a small nod.

"Good. Then consider that settled. From now on, this will be your responsibility, and I expect the silk you produce to maintain the highest quality possible."

Vina bowed again.

"Understood, Master. I will ensure that everything I produce meets the standards you require."

Ares then turned toward the other members.

"Make sure she understands how everything operates here and help her settle into her position. There is no need for her to remain unfamiliar with the organization simply because she arrived recently."

The women acknowledged his instruction with respectful nods.

"We understand, Master. We will take care of it."

Ares glanced toward Vina one final time.

"All right. I’ll leave the rest to you."

Vina inclined her head.

"Understood, Master. I will begin working with them immediately."

With that, Ares left the room and continued down the corridor, leaving Vina behind with the other members of the Order.

Ares continued down the corridor after leaving Vina with the others, his expression remaining calm as he considered the arrangement he had just made.

’It’s a good thing she didn’t complain. With the quality of her spider silk, she’ll be a tremendous help to the Order, especially when it comes to producing high-quality clothing, specialized fabrics, and other luxury products.’

His gaze shifted toward the nearby chambers occupied by the Four Black Roses, and he noticed that they appeared to be particularly busy with their own responsibilities.

’The Four Black Roses seem to have their hands full as well. I should visit the main headquarters and deliver what I brought back from the dungeon.’

A faint smile appeared on Ares’s face.

"I suppose I should put those materials to good use."

Selene, who had remained beside him, quietly followed as Ares turned toward Aurora.

"Aurora, come with us. We’re going to the main headquarters."

Aurora immediately stepped forward.

"Of course, Master."

A moment later, they appeared inside the main headquarters of the Eclipsed Order.

The moment Ares’s presence became known, the members stationed throughout the headquarters immediately stopped what they were doing and turned toward him.

One after another, they lowered their heads respectfully.

Their voices echoed through the halls, and Ares acknowledged them with a slight nod as he walked forward with Selene and Aurora beside him.

Among those gathered were also several of the newer recruits whom Ares had previously rescued. When he had first brought them into the Order, many of them had barely understood how to defend themselves, but the changes were now obvious.

Their postures were more disciplined, their movements more confident, and the way they carried themselves showed that they had already become accustomed to combat and the demanding training provided by the Order.

Ares observed them for a moment before continuing forward.

’They’ve made considerable progress.’

He was pleased to see that the recruits were no longer merely surviving under the Order’s protection, but were gradually becoming capable fighters who could eventually contribute to the organization themselves.

As they continued toward the interior of the headquarters, Ares turned toward the members nearby.

"Before we proceed, there is someone I want you all to meet."

The members immediately focused their attention on Selene.

Several members looked toward Selene with visible surprise, although none dared to question Ares’s decision.

Selene stepped forward slightly and offered a composed bow.

"It is a pleasure to meet all of you. Master has accepted me into the Eclipsed Order, and I intend to fulfill my responsibilities accordingly. I look forward to working alongside you."

Ares nodded before adding another explanation.

"There is also Vina. She is another subordinate who returned with me from that world, and she is currently remaining in Starlight with the others. She will be working with the organization.

Aurora listened quietly before nodding.

"Understood, Master. We will make certain that both of them are properly integrated into the Order."

"Good."

Ares continued toward the private meeting room.

When they arrived, Vhan and Vince were already inside. The two immediately stood from their seats upon sensing Ares’s presence.

"Welcome back, Master."

"It is good to see you again, Master."

Ares nodded.

"It is good to be back. I have several matters to take care of, so I would like Octavia to join us as well. Please have someone call her."

Vhan immediately acknowledged the order.

"Understood, Master. I will have someone contact her immediately."

Not long afterward, Octavia arrived and joined them.

Once everyone was present, Ares led them toward the underground section of the headquarters, where the Order maintained its largest storage facility.

The enormous storage room stretched far deeper than an ordinary warehouse, with extensive space reserved for materials that could not be kept in conventional facilities.

As they entered, Aurora looked toward Ares with a mixture of curiosity and concern.

"What exactly did you bring back this time, Master? You should not have troubled yourself with transporting such things on our behalf."

Ares gave her a relaxed smile.

"Don’t worry about it. I happened to encounter these materials during my expedition, so bringing them back was hardly a burden. Besides, it would have been a waste to leave such valuable resources behind."

He looked across the enormous storage room.

"There is quite a lot of it, so store part of it here and place the remainder inside the storage space. We can organize and distribute everything properly afterward."

Aurora nodded.

"Understood, Master."

Ares stepped forward.

"Then let’s begin."

He opened his storage space.

The first thing to emerge was a massive collection of mana crystals.

They appeared one after another, filling the designated storage area with an overwhelming quantity of crystals, each one radiating an extraordinary concentration of mana.

Aurora’s expression changed almost immediately.

"These are..."

Octavia stepped closer, examining one of the crystals without touching it.

"The purity is extraordinary."

Vince also stared at the growing collection in disbelief.

"These are far beyond the quality of the mana crystals we normally acquire."

Ares continued taking them out without stopping.

"There are different grades among them. I separated them according to the regions where they were obtained, so make sure they are not mixed together."

Aurora quickly understood what he meant.

"Understood. We will have the research division classify them properly."

More crystals appeared.

The highest-grade mana crystals from each region were separated into their own groups, with their purity and density far exceeding the materials normally available to the Order.

Even after the storage area began filling, Ares continued.

Next came the minerals.

Large quantities of rare ores and refined materials emerged from his storage space, including several materials that the Order had previously possessed only in extremely limited quantities.

"That’s everything from that group."

Aurora slowly looked at him.

"Master..."

She seemed to struggle for a moment to find the appropriate words.

"You brought all of this back?"

Ares nodded casually.

"Yes. There was quite a lot available, so I collected what I could."

Octavia looked over the hundreds of pieces of orichalcum before turning toward Ares.

"This amount alone would be considered an extraordinary treasure to most nations, Master. Acquiring even a fraction of this quantity would require years of mining, extensive resources, and considerable manpower."

Ares shrugged slightly.

"I was already there, so collecting it wasn’t particularly difficult."

Aurora remained silent for several seconds before looking toward the other materials filling the storage chamber.

"The research division could make use of these resources for years."

Octavia nodded.

"Not merely years. With this quantity and the quality of the materials you have brought back, the research division would have enough resources to continue its current projects for more than five years without needing to worry about shortages of rare materials."

Ares looked across the storage room.

"Then make sure they are used properly. I don’t want valuable resources sitting untouched simply because we have too much of them."

Aurora immediately bowed.

"Understood, Master. We will organize everything according to quality and application, and the research division will receive the materials according to priority."

Octavia added,

"I will personally oversee the classification of the highest-grade mana crystals and rare minerals so that none of their properties are overlooked."

Ares nodded in approval.

"Good. Once everything has been properly categorized, distribute whatever can be used by the other divisions as well. There is no reason for the Order to hoard resources that could improve our equipment, research, or production."
