The Elven Cultivator

Chapter 59 - 58: I can give it a try

Of the three types of Energy Crystals, Elemental Crystals were the most precious, but also the hardest to obtain.

Anton eliminated them without hesitation.

Using Elemental Crystals to set up a Spirit Gathering Array would be far too costly.

After a moment's thought, he also crossed Magic Stones off his list of options.

The Eldron Plain did have Magic Stone Veins, but they were all under the control of Kresol Dragon City.

To suppress the surrounding clans, Dragon City only released a very small amount of Magic Stones each year. They artificially inflated the price, making it far exceed its actual value.

Anton didn't want to go through the trouble of acquiring Magic Stones in the future, so he simply eliminated that option.

That left only one option: Demon Crystals.

Although Demon Crystals were inferior to Magic Stones in every aspect, their advantage was that they could be self-sufficiently produced.

Besides, Anton had an advantage that others could hardly match.

The energy density of his True Essence was far greater than Magic Power. A Demon Crystal created by infusing it with True Essence might even be superior to an ordinary Magic Stone.

It was worth a try.

'Researching substitute materials for the Origin Pill will take quite some time. I should get the Spirit Gathering Array set up first.'

Anton mused to himself.

Once he had the Spirit Gathering Array working and had gained some experience, he could try other Arrays.

If he wanted to deal with the Golden Peak Rock-Horned Dragon, he definitely couldn't do it alone. He had to rely on external help.

One way was to find helpers, like the Golden Tier experts in the Clan.

The other was to rely on an Array.

With a powerful enough Array, a Cultivator could even kill enemies of a higher tier.

That was the power of an Array.

Having made up his mind, Anton stretched his body with a yawn, stood up, and walked out of the quiet room, preparing to make a trip to Bishui Port to purchase some jade.

However, just as he walked out of the treehouse, he saw Romance and Eleanor approaching together.

"Anton, we were just looking for you." Romance smiled and waved at him. "The Clan is holding an important meeting. The elders sent us to tell you to come."

'An important meeting?'

Anton's expression flickered as he nodded thoughtfully. "Understood. Let's go together."

The three of them hurried to the Eternal Hall side by side.

In the center of the spacious and bright hall, many people were already seated around a long table.

The three elders, Cedric, Elena, Darian... The entire upper echelon of the Clan was gathered.

When they saw Anton enter, everyone's gaze turned toward him.

The news that Anton had advanced to the Golden Tier and personally killed a Golden Tier draconian on the battlefield had long since spread throughout the entire Clan, causing a massive stir.

Although everyone had long been aware of Anton's many unusual qualities, seeing this astonishingly talented young Elf again, they couldn't help but marvel inwardly.

'How can one Elf's talent be so outstanding?'

"Sit."

The Great Elder showed a faint smile, gesturing for Anton and the other two to take their seats before speaking slowly.

"I have reached an agreement with Clan Leader Sorin of Gray Rock Castle. They will send troops to help the Clan attack the Molten Spike Tribe. In return, the Clan will provide them with two hundred pieces of Rune Equipment."

Those present either already knew or had anticipated this, so no one looked surprised. They just turned to look at Anton in unison.

In the entire Silver Moon Clan, there were only five Golden Tier combatants, all told.

Besides the three elders, there were only Cedric and Elena, the two captains of the Forest Guard.

And now, there was Anton.

Even without mentioning his achievements in Alchemy and pharmaceutics, his Golden Tier strength alone made his position in the Clan one of considerable importance.

And since only he could craft Rune Equipment, his opinion on the deal with Gray Rock Castle naturally had to be respected.

Facing everyone's gazes, Anton nodded calmly. "I have no objections."

"We'll be relying on you."

The Great Elder nodded to Anton, then continued.

"Additionally, Gray Rock Castle has also promised to sell us a batch of Magic Cores at a low price. We can use them to create a batch of Golems for the upcoming battle."

Everyone was overjoyed at the news.

Golems were tough, feared neither death nor pain, and were perfectly suited for charging into the fray on the battlefield.

The Silver Moon Clan had Golems, but they were so few in number that they could hardly be considered a force.

There were two reasons for this. First, creating Golems required Magic Cores, an exceptionally expensive material.

On the market, the cheapest Magic Core cost over ten Gold Coins. Even if they crafted it themselves, the cost wouldn't be less than ten Gold Coins.

Adding in the other materials, the cost of a single Black Iron Tier Golem could easily reach several tens or even a hundred Gold Coins.

The Silver Moon Clan simply didn't have the financial resources to mass-produce Golems.

The second reason was that Golems required energy to operate, and the Magic Stones on the Eldron Plain were largely monopolized by Kresol Dragon City.

Lacking sufficient Magic Stones, it was naturally impossible to establish a Golem Legion.

But things were different now. As long as they could secure the Magic Cores, the energy problem wouldn't be hard to solve.

At worst, they could just use Demon Crystals.

It wasn't as if they were trying to build a Golem Legion, anyway. They just needed to attack the Molten Spike Tribe.

The Demon Crystals stockpiled in the Clan, plus a batch made in a hurry, should be enough to last through the coming war.

"With Golems, we'll have a much better chance against the Molten Spike Tribe," the Third Elder said with a chuckle. "We can create Steel Golems. We can just purchase the necessary materials directly from Gray Rock Castle."

The crowd of Casters all smiled and nodded in agreement.

Golems varied in strength.

Weaker ones, like Clay Golems and Rock Golems, barely reached the Black Iron Tier in combat power and could be handled by a few elite veterans working together.

Stronger ones, like Brass Golems and Steel Golems, had combat power approaching the Silver Tier and were fearless weapons of war on the battlefield.

Even higher up were the likes of Refined Gold Golems and Shadow Steel Golems, with combat power comparable to the mid-to-high Silver Tier. In any faction, they would be considered High Tier combatants.

While a Steel Golem couldn't be called a High Tier Alchemy Puppet, its combat power was still quite considerable.

With forty or fifty Steel Golems, they would be a force not to be underestimated on the battlefield.

The Great Elder looked at the Third Elder and said in a deep voice, "Casian, you have studied Alchemy for many years. I'm putting you in charge of overseeing the creation of the Golems. Feel free to ask for any materials you need."

The Third Elder's expression turned serious. Just as he was about to accept, a calm voice came from the side.

"Great Elder, I'd like to try as well."

The hall suddenly fell silent.

Everyone whipped their heads around, looking at Anton in astonishment.

The Great Elder was slightly taken aback. "Anton, you know how to make Golems too?"

"I've never made one before," Anton said, shaking his head, his expression calm. "But I can give it a try."

As soon as he said this, everyone's expressions turned peculiar.

Although Alchemy Puppets and magic items both fell under the umbrella of Alchemy, they were actually vastly different, almost to the point of being separate disciplines.

The creator not only had to be proficient in Rune carving but also needed a deep understanding of mechanical structures, Magic Power conduction, material tempering, and many other fields of knowledge. Not one could be missing.

Anton's skill with Rune Equipment was truly admirable, but Alchemy Puppets...

For a moment, everyone looked at each other, their expressions a mixture of emotions.
