Stepping to the front of the crowd, Anton bowed slightly to the three elders.
The Great Elder gave him a gentle nod. "There's no need to be nervous, Anton," he said. "We're just here to watch today. Don't mind us."
Anton nodded slightly. "Yes, Great Elder."
Without further ado, under the crowd's expectant and curious gazes, he took something from his pocket.
It was a golden bean.
No bigger than a knuckle, it was golden all over, its surface covered in intricate patterns that gleamed with a soft luster in the morning light.
The crowd stared at the golden bean, their faces blank with confusion.
'What is that?'
'Aren't we here to test an Alchemy Puppet?'
Anton offered no explanation. He placed the golden bean in his palm and flicked it with his finger.
The bean shot from his hand, tracing a golden arc through the air before landing on an empty patch of ground beside him.
TING!
The instant the golden bean hit the ground, it erupted in a dazzling golden light.
The light was brilliant but not blinding. It spread out in all directions like flowing mercury, blanketing the ground for several meters around.
From within the golden light, a massive figure slowly rose to its feet.
At first, it was just a blurry silhouette, but as the golden light gradually receded, the outline grew clearer.
When the light finally faded, a humanoid creature easily three meters tall stood before them.
"This..."
The crowd stared, dumbfounded, at the humanoid creature that had appeared out of nowhere. Their faces were etched with astonishment.
'What just happened?'
'How did something so small suddenly become so enormous?'
'Could this big guy be Anton's new puppet?'
Once they processed what had happened, the gazes of the Great Elder, Third Elder, Darian, and the other Casters sharpened, their expressions instantly turning solemn.
Alchemy Puppets have complex structures and are enormous, making transportation and storage a constant headache.
A three-meter-tall Steel Golem can easily weigh several thousand pounds, requiring specialized vehicles to move and dedicated warehouses for storage.
Of course, with spatial Magic items, transport and storage become much easier.
But ordinary spatial Magic items can only hold a dozen or two Golems at most.
Spatial Magic items capable of storing a Golem Legion numbering in the hundreds or thousands are as rare as a phoenix feather; they're practically not worth considering.
Anton's Alchemy Puppet, however, could be carried around in the form of a golden bean and summoned anytime, anywhere.
The significance of this was simply monumental!
For a moment, all the Casters stared intently at the humanoid creature, trying to discern its secrets.
If not for the Dwarves watching from the side, they would have already burst out with questions.
The Great Elder cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "Anton, is this the new puppet you've created?"
"That's right." Anton nodded. "It's called a Yellow Turban Warrior."
'Yellow Turban Warrior?'
The crowd exchanged speechless glances. The name was a bit odd.
But they weren't surprised.
Judging from the names of the combat techniques Anton had created before, his naming style was clearly unconventional.
"What are its capabilities?" the Great Elder asked.
His question brought everyone back to their senses, and their gazes returned to the Yellow Turban Warrior.
The name didn't matter; what was important was the puppet's combat strength.
Anton smiled faintly. "Words alone won't be clear enough. A live demonstration would be better."
With that, he looked around. "Who would like to help me with a test?"
Romance's eyes lit up, and she was about to speak, but someone else jumped out faster.
"I'll do it!"
Grim ran into the testing area, his face flushed with excitement.
"I'll be the opponent for this... uh... Yellow Turban Warrior!"
He eagerly took the double-bladed War Axe from his back, gripping the handle with both hands, the axe head angled toward the ground.
"Just so you know, I won't be holding back."
Anton chuckled and took a few steps back. With a flicker of his thoughts...
The Yellow Turban Warrior suddenly lifted its head. Although it had no visible features, everyone could feel a vibrant life force rising from its massive body.
Grim's eyes gleamed. He hefted his axe and was the first to attack.
He slammed his foot on the ground, launching himself forward like a cannonball. His double-bladed War Axe, wreathed in a powerful gust of wind, chopped viciously toward the Yellow Turban Warrior's chest.
The strike was fast and fierce, the axe blade tearing through the air with a sharp whine.
The Yellow Turban Warrior didn't dodge or evade. It raised its left arm, meeting the blow with its Arm Armor.
CLANG!
A tremendous clang of metal on metal exploded, sending sparks flying.
Grim felt a massive force rebound up the axe's shaft, making the web of his hand go slightly numb. But the Yellow Turban Warrior's body hadn't moved an inch; it hadn't even taken half a step back.
"What a tough body!"
A flash of surprise crossed Grim's eyes, but he didn't retreat. Instead, his fighting spirit surged.
With a flick of his wrist, he swung the War Axe in a horizontal slash at the Yellow Turban Warrior's waist.
To everyone's surprise, the seemingly bulky Yellow Turban Warrior lacked the usual sluggishness of a Golem. Its movements were exceptionally agile, and it dodged the blow in a flash.
Then, it raised the Golden Melon Hammer in its right hand high and brought it crashing down on Grim's head.
The hammerhead, round like a melon and weighing several hundred pounds at least, whistled down with a menacing whoosh of displaced air.
CLANG!
Axe met hammer, and a deafening crash of metal erupted.
Grim didn't budge, but his cheek twitched slightly.
Clearly, blocking that strike wasn't as easy for him as it looked.
The two went back and forth, axe chopping and hammer smashing, like two great beasts battering each other. The sheer force of it left the onlookers dumbfounded.
"No way... this big guy is actually fighting Grim to a standstill?"
"Unbelievable! Grim is a mid-rank Silver!"
"Is this really Anton's first time making a puppet?"
The Dwarves were filled with endless astonishment.
The upper echelons of the Silver Moon Race were even more shocked and incredulous.
The combat power displayed by this new puppet, the Yellow Turban Warrior, had completely exceeded their expectations.
It wasn't that they had never seen a mid-rank Silver Golem before, but this was a puppet Anton had created from scratch in less than two months.
They had originally assumed Anton's talk of "trying" was just that—talk. Who would have thought he was actually serious?!
In another exchange, Grim's axe blade struck the Yellow Turban Warrior's chest, still leaving only a tiny crack.
He gritted his teeth, took half a step back, and panted heavily, fine beads of sweat forming on his temples.
After fighting for so long, his stamina was running low, and his arms were beginning to ache.
The Yellow Turban Warrior, in contrast, was still attacking relentlessly.
The scars left on its body from his War Axe were not even minor injuries to this behemoth.
"This thing... is so damn hard!"
Grim spat on the ground and was about to attack again when he was suddenly stopped.
"That's enough," Thorvin said in a deep voice. "It's over. Grim, come back."
A flicker of reluctance crossed Grim's face, but after a moment's hesitation, he didn't dare disobey the elder's command.
More importantly, he knew very well that an Alchemy Puppet had limitless stamina and never tired. If he kept fighting, he would be the one to lose.
"Your Alchemy Puppet is strong."
Grim was straightforward about it. Before leaving the field, he nodded to Anton, tacitly admitting his defeat to the Yellow Turban Warrior.
The fight was over, but the sidelines were completely silent.
Everyone stared blankly at the Yellow Turban Warrior and Anton, their expressions dazed, speechless for a long moment.
