Shinnnnng!

The sword in the form of moonlight, lighting up the whole tunnel, was descending upon Jin Ho at a terrifying speed.

Shinnnnng!

Unlike the previous attacks from the underworlders, the power of this attack was on a completely different level. There was no way Jin Ho could dodge it in time. So, there was only one option. Block it anyhow. If he couldn’t block it, it was the end for him for sure.

Jin Ho, gritting his teeth, projected as much dark qi as he could on his sword as he swung it, targeting the moonlight. The black hole formed by the qi was far bigger than before. But even so, it looked like it was nothing but a mere insect in front of the massive moonlight that was coming.

Kakakakaka! Boom!

As the moonlight and the black hole clashed, a huge shockwave was created, causing the others to fall to the ground. And on the other hand, Jin Ho, whose black hole was unable to endure the clash, went flying backward at the speed of light.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

He rolled several times as he fell to the ground, crashing into a sidewall with another thud.

Then as the moonlight started vanishing slowly a figure could be seen, holding a sword. Long black robes, long white beard, standing straight with a blank expression, the figure looked to the side where the underworlders were lying, all of them unconscious.

Nobody could tell what he was feeling or thinking.

Then he slowly turned toward Wolryung and the others as he opened his mouth.

“There goes a saying in the Murim. Strong people would always devour the weak.”

The voice was calm yet chilling at the same time. Then he stepped forward slowly toward Baek Han.

“No matter which faction you are from. No matter which family you are from. If you are weak, you are bound to be crushed by the strongest.”

As he came near Baek Han, he crouched, getting closer to Baek Han’s face.

“...”

“Do you know what that means?”

Baek Han was terrified by the mere aura this old man in front of him was exuding, to the point that he couldn’t even move let alone talk. His body was shaking relentlessly.

“Looks like you don’t have the answer. Then I’ll ask another question. Who is the strongest here right now?”

“...”

The old man smiled.

“Me, isn’t it?”

“...”

“Before I arrived...”

He turned his head towards the underworlders.

“...you guys were the strongest and they were weak. Of course, I’m not saying it’s your fault.”

He looked at Baek Han with a cold smile again.

“Because the saying says it’s the law of the Murim that the strong crush the weak. So, it’s their fault that they weren’t strong.”

His grip on his sword tightened.

“But... Now that I’m the strongest person here. What do you think I should do? Hmm... Let’s see...”

The old man grabbed an arm of Baek Han and was moving his sword toward that arm slowly which made Baek Han’s body shake even more relentlessly as pure terror was written on his face.

“Should I do this? And...”

Suddenly...

The old man stopped and looked behind as he felt a presence coming.

It was Jin Ho who had already recovered from the earlier attack and was now right behind the old man, his eyes wide in pure terror, but even so he swung his sword with all his might.

The old man frowned slightly by this.

“Fool...!”

Crash!

Before Jin Ho’s sword could even reach the old man, he was crushed into the sidewall in the blink of an eye.

“...”

The old man was about to ignore Jin Ho and go for Baek Han again. But instead he frowned as he saw what was happening in front of him.

Jin Ho who was just crushed to the wall, his head covered in blood, body in a mess, was standing back up.

“...”

‘Did I make some mistake?’

The old man was doubting himself if his attack was really that weak. Of course, he used too little of his power. But even so, a kid shouldn’t be able to withstand this attack and could even fall unconscious. But Jin Ho was standing back up now.

‘No... That’s not it.’

It wasn’t like Jin Ho withstood that attack. He was really in a mess now. And he wasn’t standing normally either. He was crawling back up.

‘Will power!’

Yes, that was what it was.

It was the will power that gave Jin Ho the strength to stand up again.

Full face covered in blood now, he pointed his sword toward the old man slowly again.

“It’s... not... finished yet. The... battle...”

Blood was dripping continuously through his chin.

Witnessing the scene in front of him, the old man’s face went completely dark and his eyes wide.

Defeating four martial masters.

Could sense the old man’s attack in time to react. Though the attack wasn’t his full power. But even so...

Then now showing this much will power. And all of this at that age?

The old man felt the same thing the leader of the underworlders, Heuk San, felt earlier.

‘Monster!’

A monstrous talent that will crush him in the future if he lets go of it now.

With still maintaining the wideness of his eyes and the dark face the old man released a tremendous amount of aura as he tilted his sword slightly.

Everyone around him was having a hard time breathing.

“You should’ve laid down there quietly, kid... People are bound to die when they act up unnecessarily!”

Flash!

In a heartbeat of a moment, the old man was in front of Jin Ho, making Jin Ho’s pupils twitch. The old man swung his sword mid air.

“This is the end...”

Clang!

However, before the sword of the old man could reach Jin Ho another sword hit his sword mid air, making his sword bounce back.

Cring!

The sword that hit his sword fell on the ground.

“Acting up in front of a kid, are you?”

The old man, shocked by this, looked toward the voice.

“You should go hang up yourself to a tree and die.”

It was none other than Wolryung himself.

What now?

Wolryung suppressing the strongest in the tunnel right now?

Is everyone really supposed to believe that?
