The amount of killing intent the demon was releasing made Junho’s whole body shiver.
How did he become so reckless?
He never acted like this in his previous life. Before doing anything related to his life decision, he would always calculate things first.
Ah, right. He did one reckless thing before dying.
Didn’t he try to help a woman from a bad guy?
-“Haha... You bitch! Don’t act tough and come with me already. Ah, tonight’s gonna be so colorful...”.
-“No, please let me go, somebody help!”
His fingers tightened in her arms, his face too close to her neck, smelling with a pleased expression.
While the woman tried to resist desperately.
-“No, please! Don’t do it! Somebody please help!”
But going through the road everyone just ignored her, like the two of them never existed there.
-“It’s no use... Nobody will...”
It was then...
-“Hey...”
Someone called out from behind. It wasn’t any scream or shout. It was just a normal and low voice. But even so the guy was surprised and turned around.
-“Let her go.”
It was Junho.
To think he tried to save a woman without a second thought. It was obviously a reckless decision.
Why did he do it back then?
And a moment after, he was on the verge of death.
It was still pissing him off. Even though nobody called an ambulance he would understand it. But that bitch...
After the guy released her to attack Junho with a knife in his hand, she just flew away.
‘Ah, no... How did it come to this?’
He had already learned what happens after doing something reckless. But he still did it.
And now...
The demon smirked as he entered the wagon, slowly approaching Junho with a bamboo stick in his hand.
“I will beat some manners into you today so that you always keep shut that foul mouth of yours.”
On the other hand, Junho kept stepping back slowly, the forced laugh still on his face.
“Haha... Sir. It’s a misunderstanding.”
“Hmm...”
Hearing that, the demon stopped.
“Misunderstanding?”
“Yep. I was just talking to myself.”
At that answer from Junho, the demon made a thoughtful face.
“Hmm...”
He tilted his head slightly.
“Do I look like a fool to you?”
“...”
Ah, No...
Even if you’re not a fool. Just become one. Why make my life so difficult?
Giving a stiff smile, Junho tried to explain again.
“No, It’s...”
“Tsk! Shut up already!”
The demon kept approaching him again, faster this time.
“But, It’s just...”
“I don’t care.”
The demon didn’t give Junho any time to explain and raised the bamboo stick.
“Just die, you shithead!”
It was then...
Boom!
An incredible amount of qi hit the wagon, making it scatter into pieces.
While the people on the wagon fell to the ground.
“Argh!”
Thud! Thud! Thud!
“What the...? Which bastard did this?”
The two demons shouted as they immediately stood up with their swords in hand. So did Junho and the chubby boy.
Then, in a flash, a panicked young man appeared in front of Junho.
“Young master! Are you alright? You aren’t hurt anywhere, are you?”
Junho was taken aback by this.
“Y-Young master? Who are you?”
“...”
At that question the young man’s face went stiff.
‘Did they hit his head?’
“Hmm...”
He inspected Junho carefully.
Dirty clothes, bruised marks on his body.
How bad did they beat him?
At that time, the chubby boy approached him and whispered in his ear.
“I think he lost his memories. Those demonic people really hit his head hard. Which made him faint. And when he woke up... he was acting really strange.”
Upon hearing this, the young man looked at Junho who was staring at him, narrowing his eyes.
‘It looks like they really hit his head hard.’
Otherwise why would his young master act like this? If it was the young master he knew...
Then he would’ve started nagging the moment he appeared, saying why was he late? And making a fuss about this.
But the man in front of him now...
Though the face was his young master’s face, his behaviour said otherwise. He looked really confused about the situation in front of him.
Meanwhile, Junho’s inside...
‘Young master? Did he say young master?’
That meant this warrior in front him was his subordinate. And didn’t he just scatter that wagon with a single attack and from a bit far at that. That much detail was enough proof of his strength.
And if the subordinate is that strong. Then, how much stronger will the clan be?
Junho was already having a hard time controlling his expression.
‘Heheheh... What a jackpot?! I’m rich! Kekekeke... I can finally say goodbye to my hellish life. Heheheh...”
“...”
Now they could see the grin on Junho’s face clearly as he couldn’t control it anymore.
“...”
‘Did he go mad?’
“Brat... tell that young man to focus on the battle or...”
The old man stopped mid sentence as Junho looked like he was so excited that he couldn’t even hear him.
Then Junho looked at the young man with a bright smile.
“Hey... What is our clan’s name?”
“...”
‘He even forgot his clan’s name?’
“How arrogant! Are you guys looking down on us or something?! How dare you chitchat in our presence!"
The two demons were already right behind the young man, swinging their sword with full force.
Swooosh!
“Huh?”
Junho looked shocked as the two demons suddenly appeared in his vision.
‘Why now of all time?’
But before the swords could reach them, in a heartbeat, the young man blocked them with his sword.
Clang! Clang!
At that sight, the two demons’ eyes went wide in disbelief.
They knew this young man in front of them was strong. Didn’t he already prove that by scattering the wagon into pieces from a distance?
But what made them shocked now was that he blocked two of their swords at the same time. And it looked like it was too easy for him as he didn’t even need to take a single step back.
‘How?’
The young man kicked one of the demons on his stomach which made him fly backward. While the other demon didn’t waste any time and swung his sword from the left side.
“Die!”
However, the young man dodged it, stepping back with the speed of light and swung his sword in the next instant. His target wasn’t the demon but his sword. And as the sword hit the demon’s sword, the demon’s sword broke in half and fell on the ground.
“F*ck!”
The demon tried to retreat backward. But it was too late. The young man, not wasting any time, immediately lunged forward and stabbed his sword into the demon’s chest.
“Ahhhhhh!”
Blood immediately gushed out from the open chest wound as the young man took out his sword from the demon’s chest, making him fall on the ground, holding his chest wound in unbearable pain.
At that exact moment, the demon who was flown backward by the young man was already in front of him, mid air, he swung his sword down.
“You bastard! How dare you?!”
Several veins popped up in his face as he was filled with pure fury.
But on the other hand, the young man looked completely calm. And before the demon’s sword could reach him he swung his sword in mid air.
Clang!
“Huh?”
The demon’s face went stiff as his sword also broke in half.
And he could see something in his vision.
“...”
Something made of wood. Though it was the shape of a sword, at the same time it wasn’t a sword.
‘Shit...’
The sword sheath of the young man hit the demon’s face.
Thud!
With that the battle ended within three minutes or less.
At that moment...
Clap! Clap! Clap!
The sound of hands clapping could be heard from the back of the young man.
“Marvelous! Truly marvelous!”
The young man turned his head toward the voice.
“...”
There stood Junho with a ridiculous grin which looked like that of a devil, he started approaching the young man.
“So... what’s your name?”
“...”
The young man stared at him for a moment with a blank face. While Junho was already in front of him. And looking at that devil-like face from this close...
“Come on, say it already!”
For some reason, the young man wanted to punch that face really hard.
But he held himself back and sighed. After all, no matter how his face looked, he was still his master.
“My name is Ma Jin Ho, young master.”
“...”
Upon hearing that name, Junho looked really shocked.
“...What did you say? Ma Jin Ho?”
It can’t be! There is no way, right?
Full of confusion, Junho looked at Jin Ho, inspecting his body.
Long black hair tied, an overly handsome face, a noble posture while standing, black robes and pants. Everything was too similar to the description.
‘No, no. It’s Murim. Those descriptions can meet with anyone handsome here.’
But the problem was his name. How could the description and the name match at the same time?
But Junho still refused to believe it.
“W-What about our clan name?”
“Hmm... It’s the Dark Heaven Sword Clan.”
“F*ck!”
“...”
He didn’t just transmigrate in a normal Murim world but in a Murim novel he used to read.
And this bastard in front of him, Ma Jin Ho, was the protagonist of that novel.
