Then we walked out of the room.

Outside, a massive board had been set up displaying the rankings of the candidates.

I looked at it.

My eyes immediately landed on the first name.

Isabella.

A bright smile appeared on my face.

Luna looked at the rankings as well, and a smile appeared on her face too.

"Sister Isabella is first."

"She really did amazing."

I nodded proudly.

"Of course she did."

We looked through the rankings for a while before heading toward the Empress.

She looked at us and smiled.

"After the welcoming ceremony, we’re going to meet Isabella."

"Let’s go."

We nodded.

Luna and I followed her before eventually finding a place to sit.

After settling down, Luna suddenly turned toward me.

"Gray..."

"What are you going to do after Sister Elena goes to the academy?"

She paused.

"I’ll be all alone then."

I looked at her.

I immediately understood what she meant.

Once Elena entered the academy, Luna wouldn’t have her sister around anymore.

I thought about it for a moment.

"Hmm..."

"Wait a moment."

Luna nodded and waited patiently.

I fell into deep thought.

A few moments later—

"I got it!"

Luna’s eyes lit up.

"Oh?"

"What is it?"

I looked at her with a grin.

"I’m going on an adventure."

"Isn’t that fun?"

Luna blinked.

Then she began imagining it.

Traveling to different places.

Exploring unknown regions.

Accepting missions.

Fighting monsters.

Discovering new things.

And, most importantly...

Doing all of it together.

Her eyes gradually lit up.

"Hmm..."

"That actually sounds amazing."

She immediately smiled.

"I’m coming with you."

I raised an eyebrow.

"Whatever."

"But first, you need to get permission from your mother."

"And I need to get permission from my mother too."

Luna nodded confidently.

Getting permission shouldn’t be too difficult for her.

She probably only needed to walk up to the Empress and say:

"Mom, can I go on an adventure with Gray after Elena enters the academy?"

With a little convincing...

It would probably be a done deal.

Before we could discuss it any further, the Empress returned with my mother.

"The opening ceremony is over."

"Let’s go and see Isabella."

We both nodded.

Then we followed them.

We were finally going to meet Sister Isabella after her entrance examination.

We met Sister Isabella and gave Luna, Elena, and the others some time to have their moment and say goodbye.

After they finished, we said our goodbyes as well and left.

We returned to the carriage.

I followed Amy inside and took a seat beside her.

The moment I sat down, Amy put on a mischievous smirk.

"Oh, little brother..."

"What were you and Luna talking about so animatedly?"

Her grin widened.

"I heard something about getting permission from Mother and Aunt Auralia."

She suddenly gasped dramatically.

"Wait... don’t tell me"

"Are you two getting married at such a young age?"

"Ohhh..."

"Little brother, you’re working way too fast!"

"I didn’t expect this from you"

"You grow a lot fatter then i expect"

"Ah no you are still so young"

She paused and pretended to think.

"Wait..."

"Is it even legal to get married at this age?"

"Or are you planning to ask the Empress to make an exception for you and Luna?"

She looked at me with an unmistakable smirk.

But she wasn’t finished.

"Oh, what should I wear to your wedding?"

"What kind of wedding cake should I prepare?"

"What would be a good wedding gift?"

"And I wonder what Luna will say when you two get married..."

"Where should we healed the wedding we can’t shoot change you everything must be the best"

Several black lines appeared on my forehead.

My face was burning with embarrassment.

"What kind of rubbish are you talking about, Amy?"

"What wedding?"

"What cake?"

"Whose wedding?"

"Stop talking nonsense!"

"I don’t care what you think, but don’t go spreading this around!"

Amy giggled.

"So what did you two actually talk about?"

"You should see your face right now."

"If I tease you anymore, smoke might start coming out of your ears."

I immediately reached over and covered her mouth with both hands.

"Ahh! It’s nothing big!"

"We were just talking about what we’re going to do after you and Elena enter the academy."

Amy’s expression softened.

"Oh?"

"So what did you two decide?"

She sounded genuinely curious now.

I removed my hands and answered.

"We’re planning to go on an adventure."

"Take missions, travel around, explore different places..."

"Things like that."

"Isn’t it fun?"

Amy thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"Yeah."

"That actually sounds like a good idea."

"But it’s dangerous, Gray."

"Mother probably won’t agree unless you take a powerful guard with you."

I nodded.

"Yeah, I thought about that too."

"So I’m planning to take someone with us."

"But I’ll make it clear that they aren’t allowed to interfere unless the situation becomes dangerous."

Amy nodded approvingly.

"That’s a good plan."

"You’ll be able to gain a lot of experience, discover new places, and learn how the world actually works."

She paused.

"And you can treat this Secret Realm as another kind of trial."

I nodded.

"That was what I was thinking too."

We continued talking about the adventure for a while.

Eventually, Luna, the Empress, and my mother returned.

My mother had some work to take care of, so she left again shortly afterward.

Amy and I remained in the carriage while waiting for the others.

After a while, Amy suddenly looked at me.

"Do you have anything to eat?"

I stared at her.

"You’re asking me that?"

She smiled.

"You always have food."

I sighed.

"Fine."

I reached into my Space Storage and pulled out two burgers and two soft drinks.

I handed one set to Amy.

Her eyes immediately lit up.

"Thanks, little brother."

We began eating while the burgers were still warm.

As usual, somehow the waiting became another little meal.

I leaned back comfortably.

At this rate...

My Space Storage was going to become less of a storage space and more of a portable restaurant.

Then Luna and the others returned.

Luna sat down beside me. She was still a little down, so I decided to leave her alone for now.

It wouldn’t be good to force her to cheer up when she was feeling that way.

So we remained quiet as the carriage began moving, and we started our journey back to the Imperial Palace.

After some time, the Empress suddenly turned toward me.

"Hey, little Gray."

I looked at her.

She gave me a curious expression.

"Aren’t you worried about that Dragon Prince coming after you in the tournament?"

"You do know that the tournament isn’t a simple one-on-one competition, right?"

"It could end up being similar to today’s examination."

She paused.

"What if all those dragons gang up on you?"

I looked at her for a moment.

Then a bright smile spread across my face.

"Really?"

"That sounds amazing."

"I can beat them all at once."

"I can’t wait."

"And I heard dragons have tough scales, right?"

"So I don’t have to worry about holding back my punches."

My smile widened.

"I can finally go on a rampage."

The Empress stared at me.

For a moment, she was completely speechless.

She had expected many possible reactions.

I might have started thinking about strategies.

Maybe setting traps.

Using Space to control the battlefield.

Keeping my distance and fighting carefully.

Or even worrying about being surrounded.

But instead...

I was excited about the possibility of fighting an entire group of dragons at once.

The Empress suddenly burst out laughing.

"Oh, Gray..."

"You never fail to keep me in a good mood."

"If those lizards heard what you just said, they’d probably spit blood."

Amy placed a hand over her forehead and sighed.

What happened to my innocent little brother?

But despite her words, the smile on her face only widened.

Even my mother couldn’t hide her smile.

We finally returned to the Imperial Palace.

The moment I stepped out of the carriage, exhaustion hit me all at once.

I walked over to Mom and looked up at her.

"Mom, I’m tired. I’m going to sleep."

"Good night."

Mom looked at me and immediately noticed how exhausted I was.

She crouched down and scooped me up into her arms.

"Okay."

"I’ll take you to your room. Just sleep."

My eyes lit up.

"Really?"

Mom smiled and nodded.

"Of course."

I leaned against her shoulder.

The moment I felt her warmth, my exhaustion completely took over.

My eyes slowly closed.

Before I knew it, I had already fallen asleep.

Mom noticed my breathing had become slow and even.

She smiled softly and carried me back to my room.

The Empress and the others had already left.

Mom carefully placed me on the bed, pulled the blanket over me, and gently kissed my forehead.

"Sleep well, Gray."

She quietly left the room.

I remained completely asleep, unaware of anything around me.
