"You’re about to leave soon, right? Why not spend more time with your family?"

At the Ethereal Pagoda, in the lakeside cottage, Nereida Nash brewed tea for Carson Flores, her eyes filled with curiosity.

On a chair nearby, Snow Zane sat watching Carson with a smile, waiting for her answer.

Years had passed, and although Snow Zane’s injuries were still severe, consuming numerous precious medicines had some effect. She no longer had to lie in bed all day but could live normally like anyone else.

Nereida Nash’s arrival brought vibrant energy to the quiet cottage, plus, as the leader of the flower maidens, she excelled at serving others. Knowing that Snow Zane was an esteemed elder, Nereida considered herself a junior and tended to Snow Zane’s daily life, making her quite happy.

Snow Zane lived in the pagoda and could occasionally chat with Pagoda Spirit Delarosa, but Delarosa’s personality was cold, not enthusiastic, so their exchanges were limited.

Unlike Delarosa, Nereida Nash was innately lonely and lacked a sense of security. Living here now, despite being unable to go outside, her heart was filled with contentment and joy.

The two of them, one old and one young, got along like grandparents and grandchildren. They were very happy together, and their hearts were filled with tranquility without feeling constrained by staying in the pagoda.

Through Snow Zane’s narrative, Nereida learned about Carson Flores and Niall Sinclair’s story. She also learned about Carson’s true identity and many of Carson’s stories, which filled Nereida with admiration for Carson.

Who could have imagined that Carson carried a Quasi-Saint with him?

Even in a near-crippled state, a Quasi-Saint is still a Quasi-Saint!

In his free time, Carson would enter the pagoda, have tea, or dine with them and chat casually.

Over such a long time, Carson and Nereida became very familiar with each other and interacted quite freely.

Facing Nereida’s question, Carson smiled and said, "I’ve been here for quite a while, my longing has been resolved, and I kind of miss home."

Nereida smiled with her lips pressed together: "Are you thinking about Fairy Sinclair?"

"Uh..."

Carson rubbed his nose: "If I say that Niall Sinclair and I are actually innocent right now, would you believe me?"

Nereida seemed surprised, then smiled with her lips pressed together: "If you say so, I believe you."

After a pause, Nereida curiously asked, "The elder told me some stories about you and Fairy Sinclair, but I don’t know the details. Could you tell me more?"

Carson smiled: "There’s nothing much to tell. I was asked to save someone before, and she, like you, wasn’t her true self, always with that cold, stern look. Do you all like to play this game? Fairy Blaine doesn’t hide at all..."

Nereida chuckled lightly: "How can I compare to Fairy Blaine? She’s the Saintess of the Separation Sea Sect, one of the Twelve Immortal Gates of the Myriad Immortals Palace, incredibly powerful. Her status allows her to walk openly in the World of Ten Thousand Immortals. She naturally doesn’t need to hide her true self in places like Immortal Gathering Island."

Carson laughed: "Same goes for Niall Sinclair and you both gave me a fright. The Abyssal Sect has been searching for her, and I’m afraid Immortal Gathering Island will look for you too. The Myriad Immortals Palace and Southern Barbarian Palace are all hunting me. I don’t dare to go to the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain at all, otherwise, if recognized, it would be hard to leave alive."

Snow Zane said with a smile: "I’ve seen a lot of troublemakers, but you’re the first to stir things up all over the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain and then retreat unscathed."

Carson praised, "It’s all because of Delarosa, who knows how many disasters she has helped me avoid. Without her protection, I would have died many times over."

Snow Zane reclined comfortably in her chair, holding a cup of tea, smiled and said, "Looking at you, you’re not planning to stay, are you?"

Carson nodded: "I’ve reunited, resolved my longing, and I should continue on my own path."

Snow Zane asked, "Earlier, you said you wanted to go to the Bitter Sea Immortal Domain first. What for?"

Carson recounted the story of exploring the Chaotic Streams Space with Saint of Thieves, discovering Broken Heaven Pathist, and obtaining the Sun and Moon Dragon Chalice.

Nereida’s eyes widened in surprise: "So, you have a Primordial Spirit of a fallen Quasi-Saint on you too?"

Carson nodded: "Yes, if not for his great oath, I wouldn’t dare trust him, let alone carry him around. After all, the human heart is unpredictable. Who knows if he’d turn on me once we’re out of the Land of Chaotic Streams."

Nereida looked at Carson with admiration, thinking Carson was truly amazing.

Not only did he have a starry sky giant beast by his side, but also an injured Quasi-Saint and the Primordial Spirit of a fallen Quasi-Saint. Though their combat power might not be ideal, they are still Quasi-Saints, after all.

"What do you plan to do?"

Carson said honestly: "This opportunity was accidental, a pure chance encounter, so I’m planning to directly consult True Sage Grand Void, prioritizing safety first..."
