While Karl got numbers from the Elders, Remi was doing the mental math for them.

[ The first batch of items should equip ten percent of their top talents. So, we should send them at least four hundred Peerless Grade swords, a hundred healer specific holy magic boosting items, and then probably something for all three leaders, but they’ll want it customized.

If we send the equivalent of a shipload of gear to them, with extra healing items and Peerless swords to cater to their style, I think that it should be enough for them.

Is that enough information to set a price? ]

Karl turned to the Elders, "I have preliminary math for the first shipment. This is the Clan Credit base price, and we are willing to offer you the friends and family twenty percent off for wholesale purchases,

That will let you sell without any markup."

The two Supreme Ranked Elders frowned at the number that Karl had written. That was an enormous sum of money by any standard. But, for the items that the Darklight Host prepared, it might actually be reasonable.

"How did you come to this number, might I ask?" The Elder inquired carefully.

"One standard ship load of mixed goods, naturally focused on blade skills and healers. Then an increased number of Peerless Grade swords, four hundred in total, so that one in ten of your Elders could get a new blade.

Finally, three custom ordered Supreme Rank Epic Grade pieces.

That’s the painfully expensive part, and if you would like it removed from the calculation, I can do that as well."

The Elders shared a small smile. Karl had already assumed that they would order weapons for themselves and built it into the offer? That was much more friendly than they had assumed, since Supreme Rank treasures above rare grade were so difficult to obtain.

But didn’t that also mean that the Branch Leader could casually ask his Supreme Grade crafters to custom make pieces at the Epic Grade, and that they already had the materials required?

Normally, if you ordered something like that, you had to supply the materials.

"And you accept trades of any sort of useful resources? I presume that you’re already well stocked with water element resources from the Elves."

Karl nodded. "Indeed we are. But we also work with the Yizimon Clan, and our agreement with them produces many other resources. If there is something that we are short of, we can always send someone out to harvest it from a dungeon or hidden space.

It can delay crafting times, but we haven’t failed to find suitable materials yet."

Mostly because Runecrafting didn’t require the extremely specific resources that most other crafting methods did.

All that they actually needed was a core material aligned to the proper element, and they could make the items.

"Well, you’re in luck this time. The Almeixei Style is a wind and water style, so water element materials will be needed for the majority of the items that we would like to request. Some of our members have other focuses, but the majority can be wind and water."

Karl nodded. "Alright, in that case, we already have a small portion of the supply ready. How soon would you like to have someone return with payment? We will have the shipment ready for you within a week."

"You can have all that in under a week? Are you sure that you have the resources?"

Karl pretended to calculate, though he already knew that they had enough after the last shipment that they had received. The only thing that they might be a bit short on were holy materials, but they could just have Tian bless some magical metals as he created them, since he could use holy element magic innately.

That would give a holy element base to the weapon, and allow them to skip the additional resources to make the items suitable for use by clerics.

There were a number of metals from the mines that were suitable for their tasks, as they would accept nearly any sort of elemental affinity. They could use those for the weapons that the Supremes would use, unless they were going to have their lovely new druid make some wooden items.

Actually, that could be funny. Making wooden swords for the Supremes, so that everyone who fought them thought that their peak combat power was their training weapon.

That didn’t seem like the style of the Almeixei Sect. They were stern and proper martial cultivators, and putting on a sham like Karl would do wasn’t something that their pride would accept. They could try to play weak to some extent to draw in an enemy, but openly using a false weapon? That was too far for them.

[ Why don’t we make them a bunch of pretty things? ] Tian joked.

Karl chuckled as he thought about these two serious Supreme Ranked masters using flower and butterfly themed combat fans, or a princess style sceptre. It would be completely inappropriate, but it would be funny to watch.

"Is there a particular theme or design that your Almeixei Sect favours? If there is we can have a number of the more powerful items made in that style so that you can proudly give them to your members as Clan rewards." Karl offered.

"We have a Sect emblem, but we’re not usually sticklers for themes. The Sect Master feels that they are too overdone and dramatic."

Karl couldn’t help but chuckle.

He had exactly that impression of the Almeixei Sect, that they were rather dramatic and fond of putting on airs. But he wasn’t going to say it when they were promising to be such good customers to the Guild, and were already allies.

"Alright, we will just make everything somewhat subdued and understated, unless you want the personalized pieces to be flashy. If that’s everything, I can get the workers started tomorrow, and then you can come back in a week for the order."

"That works perfectly for us, Branch Leader. We will need some time to gather the resources. I will have the Clan Leader send you the requests for the personalized items by the end of the evening."
