Azriel caught his returning fundo without looking, his violet eyes glowing with calm, lethal confidence.

Vesperia walked out from the edge of the grounds, stepping over shattered, splintered wood.

She surveyed the utter devastation of the arena before turning her golden gaze back onto Azriel, a slow, predatory smirk spreading across her lips.

"Well, Azriel..." Vesperia purred, letting her own weapon drop heavily to the dirt with a dull thud.

"It seems your hands have finally caught up with your eyes. The third lesson is complete."

"Third lesson complete," Azriel repeated, rolling his right shoulder to work out a knot. A subtle smile touched his lips as his violet eyes locked onto hers.

"So, what’s next?"

"Well, the fourth lesson is—" Vesperia began.

"Politics," Rosalind interrupted smoothly, materializing out of nowhere right beside them.

Azriel didn’t even flinch; he was long past being startled by her sudden entries.

He knew the instantaneous teleportation was a signature ability of her rare SS- Rank class, Spatial Sovereign.

Deep down, he couldn’t help a slight pang of envy.

The space element was undeniably cool, the sheer aura and flexibility of flexing, instantaneous movement was unreal.

But as with all things, it was what it was.

Rosalind shot a smug glance at her mother.

"Your time with Azriel is up for today, old hag. It’s time for dinner, and after that, I’m taking over to teach him the political landscape of Gorgorath."

Vesperia merely shrugged, completely unfazed.

"Fine by me."

They headed back to the lodge for dinner, where Azriel devoured his feast with his usual ravenous efficiency, except this time, he deliberately exaggerated every single gesture of high-society etiquette.

He wiped his lips with dramatic, imperial grace and handled his silver utensils with the exaggerated poise of a reigning monarch, causing Rosalind to giggle softly behind her palm at his theatrical compliance.

After finishing her tea, Vesperia let out a long, languid yawn, stretching her arms high above her head as her cat ears twitched in lazy satisfaction.

"I’m turning in," she announced softly.

"Goodnight, Mother-in-law~" Azriel called out with a playful smile.

"Good night, Azriel," she purred smoothly before sauntering upstairs and sliding into the lodge’s single private bedroom.

Vesperia had officially claimed the main room for herself, leaving Rosalind and Azriel to turn the spacious second-floor study into their personal night quarters once lessons concluded.

"Upstairs, handsome," Rosalind purred, leading the way.

As they climbed the floating staircase, Azriel took his sweet time admiring the captivating view from two steps behind, his violet eyes tracing the intoxicating sway of her lush curves.

Reaching the quiet study, they settled into the high-backed leather chairs opposite each other at the wooden desk.

Rosalind reached over to a nearby shelf and pulled down a thick, unmarked leather-bound book, resting its heavy spine on the desk with a soft thud.

Opening the weathered pages, her golden eyes shone with sharp intelligence.

"Let’s start by mapping out the physical geography of Gorgorath, the Beast Continent. Once you understand the terrain and resources, the political rivalries will make complete sense."

Rosalind opened the heavy leather binder, flattening its yellowed parchment pages across the mahogany desk.

A soft pulse of her golden aether flickered across the paper, bringing a detailed, glowing holographic map of Gorgorath to life right above the table.

"The Beast Continent is divided into five dominant sovereign territories," Rosalind began, her tone shifting into that of a sharp, regal scholar.

"Each empire represents a distinct environmental realm and bloodline archetype, constantly warring for resource dominance."

She tapped a sprawling expanse of golden savannas and arid plateaus at the center of the continent.

"First is the Sekhmet Empire, ruled by the feline and lion-kin matriarchs. They possess the highest concentration of high-grade bloodline aristocrats in Gorgorath."

Her finger shifted west toward a harsh region dominated by jagged canyons and endless steppes.

"Second is the Karnvokh Empire, domain of the Horned and Hoofed-kin. They operate as an unstoppable military machine. Their society is built on momentum, physical toughness, and mass unit coordination. They hold the most formidable heavy infantry on the continent."

She pointed south toward an intricate network of treacherous archipelagoes, subterranean rivers, and toxic coastlines.

"Third, the Naga Empire, the Submerged Scale-kin. They control all aquatic trade routes and sea-crystal mines. They are silent, deeply secretive, and specialize in long-range elemental arts, poison alchemy, and ambush tactics."

Her finger moved upward to a northern range of sky-piercing, frozen mountain peaks.

"Fourth, the Skraal Krag Empire, sovereign skies of the Avian-kin. They control all the aerial routes and control the continent’s high-altitude mineral veins. They are fiercely xenophobic and rely on unmatched mobility."

Finally, she indicated the vast, dense jungle frontiers to the east.

"Lastly, the ZalTusk Empire, domain of the Canine and Ursine-kin. They are driven by raw physical power, territorial instinct, and relentless pack cohesion, harboring some of the most dangerous close-quarters berserkers in all of Tartarus."

Rosalind leaned back slightly, her golden eyes locking onto his with sharp, regal intent.

"Now that you have the continent’s broad layout, let’s start with the Sekhmet Empire. Since we reside within its borders, and because its Capital is where you’ll be making your grand debut, you need to know every dynamic, family alliance, and hidden faction inside out."

She tapped the central glowing crest on the parchment map with a manicured claw, causing it to flare with brilliant golden light.

"Let’s begin."

The lecture stretched far into the night.

Rosalind started at the absolute apex of imperial power, the Ro’Khan Clan, the dominant Lion-kin who had commanded the Sekhmet Empire for millennia.

She meticulously detailed their bloody lineage, their ancient bloodline gifts, and the treacherous factional wars quietly brewing beneath the gilded surface of the imperial court.

"Below the royal throne stand the Three Great Duchies," Rosalind explained, her clawed finger tracing three distinct crests shimmering on the parchment map.

"The bedrock of the empire’s military and economic might, the Bastati Clan, the Tigris Clan, and the Nivus Clan."

She looked up at Azriel, her golden eyes glinting with fierce family pride.

"Our house, the Bastati, commands the diplomatic networks and one-third of military might. The Tigris Clan controls the front-line vanguards with their relentless, aggressive tiger-kin warriors. And the Nivus Clan, the Snow-Leopard lineage, dominates the northern trade routes and elemental frost arts."
