The First Patriarch: Streaming My Cosmic Harem
Chapter 105: Cannot Edit This OutAs the dummy drew near, he swung the crescent blade in a lethal, arc-like sweep.
CRACK—THUD!
The blade bit into the timber, but the strike was far from clean. Due to a microsecond delay in his alignment, the crescent edge failed to slice smoothly; instead, it jammed awkwardly three inches deep into the dense wood, leaving a jagged, splintered gouge before wedging completely fast.
Azriel slowly turned his head toward the floating Soul Camera, his deadpan violet eyes staring directly into the lens as a single thought echoed in his mind:
’Well... this is fucking embarrassing.’
[LIVE CHAT]
[Boundless_Slacker] (Red): Bro woke up, got smug with his mother-in-law, tried to flex for the stream, and jammed his sickle three inches deep, hahahahaha"
[Nine_Tailed_Vixen] (Cyan): Azriel, please, the way you spun that chain so confidently just to get stuck like an amateur... my stomach hurts from laughing!!
[Sadistic69] (Red): HE THOUGHT HE WAS HIM, HE WANTED TO BE A BADASS SO BAD THAT HE GOT HIS BLADE STUCK IN A DUMMY LMAOOO
[Battle_Maiden_Vera] (White): That was so embarrassing to watch live, OMG, Look at Vesperia’s smirk, she’s enjoying this way too much!
[I_Love_Leaf] (Golden): Bro spent all night plowing Rosalind and came out to the arena with noodle arms!!!
[Moon_Priestess_99] (Cyan): "No way, Azriel, don’t look at the camera like that, you can’t edit this out, it’s live steamed!!!!
[Aether_Enthusiast] (White): Gave the dummy a gentle massage with the fundo and then wedged the blade into raw timber... true martial arts masterclass right here, girls
Vesperia leaned against her own grounded weapon, letting out a deep, chest-rumbling laugh that made her voluptuous bust tremble beneath her black tank top.
"Exhibitionist, aren’t we?" she teased, her feline eyes sparkling with unadulterated amusement.
"Who told you to go for the decapitation when you haven’t even mastered the leash yet?"
Azriel yanked his crescent blade free from the splintered timber with a frustrated grunt, shaking his stinging wrist.
His Warrior’s Instinct immediately analyzed the failure, the initial fundo wrap was too loose, leaving three extra inches of slack that caused the dummy to wobble as it flew toward him, completely throwing off his sickle’s angle of entry.
"The wrap wasn’t tight enough," Azriel muttered, rolling his shoulder to reset his posture.
"Precisely," Vesperia replied, her tone sharpening back into grandmaster mode as she stepped closer.
"Entanglement isn’t just about wrapping a chain around an object, it’s about controlling kinetic transfer. If your initial strike lacks precise angular velocity, the coils won’t bind firmly. A live opponent will slip out or use your own chain to pull you off balance."
She flicked her wrist, her iron weight shooting out like an outstretched serpent.
It struck a fresh dummy twenty paces away, wrapping around its neck with a sharp, lightning-fast CLANG.
Without a single wasted movement, she flicked her wrist back, the chain contracting like a boa constrictor.
The dummy didn’t just fly forward, it flew in a perfectly stabilized horizontal line straight toward her.
SWOOSH—
With effortless grace, Vesperia’s left hand caught her own crescent blade and slid it cleanly through the dummy’s neck, severing the heavy timber in a smooth, butter-like slice before catching the head mid-air.
"That," Vesperia purred, tossing the wooden head aside, "is how you execute an entangling reel. No wobble, no slack, no resistance. Now, reset."
Azriel’s violet eyes flashed with intense determination.
He didn’t say a word, uncoiling his chain and locking his gaze onto a fresh target.
Wuuush—
[LIVE CHAT]
[Sadistic69] (Red): VESPERIA’S DEMO WAS INSANE!!
[Moon_Priestess_99] (Cyan): Smooth as silk, deadly as hell!
[Battle_Maiden_Vera] (White): Azriel is trying to flex early and getting called out by his mother-in-law, this is so funny!
[Lusty_Sera] (Golden): Look at Vesperia leaning in close to correct his grip... she’s definitely playing the long game now!
[Nine_Tailed_Vixen] (Cyan): The way he locked in after failing once... GOD, he’s so hot when he gets serious!
For the next four days, the training grounds echoed with the continuous, rhythmic clatter of iron chains and splintering wood.
Azriel threw himself into the repetitions with relentless vigor.
Five paces, ten paces, twenty paces, moving targets, spinning targets, heavy targets.
Under the ruthless guidance of Vesperia and the absurd adaptation speed granted by Warrior’s Instinct, his muscle memory shifted at a terrifying rate.
He learned to read the exact tension in the links through his fingertips, adjusting the rotation angle right as the weight struck to force the chain into tighter, suffocating spirals.
By the fifth day, he was snagging moving target posts out of the air, reeling them in, and cleanly cleaving them into smooth halves without his sickle sticking for even a fraction of a second.
SNAP— CLANG— SWOOSH— CRACK!
A target post flew toward him, bound tight by his glowing iron chain.
Azriel stepped forward, his crescent blade flashing in a razor-thin crescent moon arc.
The wood severed with a crisp SHRK, the two halves falling neatly into the dirt as Azriel caught his returning weight in his left palm.
Vesperia stood at the edge of the arena, watching the clean execution.
A slow, deeply satisfied smirk spread across her face, her golden eyes lingering over his chest, which glistened with a fine sheen of sweat beneath his black gear.
"Not bad, Azriel," Vesperia purred, walking toward him with an unhurried, swaying stride that accentuated the lush curve of her hips.
She stopped just an inch too close, the warm, exotic scent of her feline bloodline washing over him.
"You catch on remarkably fast... in every aspect."
Azriel met her golden gaze directly, wiping a drop of sweat from his temple.
"Does that mean Lesson Four is passed?"
Vesperia reached out, her manicured claw lightly tapping the center of his chest before sliding down to his belt line, lingering for a fraction of a second longer than necessary.
"Entanglement is passed," she whispered raspily, her voice dropping into a sultry, teasing murmur.
"Now let’s see how well you handle a target that actually fights back."
Azriel caught her lingering hand with a wry smile, stepping back slightly to roll his shoulder.
"Aren’t you going to give me a proper lesson on the sickle first?"
Vesperia chuckled, her golden eyes flashing.
"From watching you train these past few weeks, I’ve realized something, Azriel, you don’t need step-by-step instruction for every technique," she purred smoothly, spinning her own weapon with an effortless flick of her wrist.
"You just need a single pointer to correct a flaw, and your instincts handle the rest flawlessly. Sitting around doing technical drills with the blade will only slow you down."
She raised her crescent blade, its sharp edge gleaming beneath the silver canopy as her aura flared with a suffocating, heavy heat.
"Real combat is where that terrifying talent of yours truly evolves. So draw your weapon, boy... let’s see how fast you grow when your life is on the line."
