"So," Azriel said, loosening his grip on the kusarigama as the iron weight settled neatly into his palm, "when do we head out?"

"Right now, handsome," a smooth, velvety voice echoed from behind him.

Space warped with a faint white ripple as Rosalind materialized at his side.

Dressed in a regal, high-collared red robes, she offered him a radiant smile before shifting her golden eyes toward her mother with a triumphant smirk.

"I’ve already set up the teleportation rune leading straight to the outer perimeter of the Verdant Hollow," Rosalind announced, crossing her arms over her voluptuous chest.

"It’s an E-Rank dungeon nestled right on the border of Oakhaven, a city under our family’s direct jurisdiction near the edge of the Irida Woods."

She looked at Azriel, her expression softening with genuine pride.

"Normally, an E-Rank dungeon is a absolute death sentence for new awakeners."

"But for you?"

"You’re already at Level 5, armed with terrifying combat abilities and a martial style you’ve just perfected to a razor’s edge. You’ll easily sweep through it."

Vesperia let out a low, husky hum, her feline tail swaying lazily behind her brown leather pants.

"And don’t worry, Az~... your mother... in... law will be right there in the shadows to rescue you if you ever get into trouble."

Azriel caught the lingering, sultry emphasis she placed on mother-in-law and barely managed to suppress his smirk.

Rosalind shot her mother a sharp glare before letting out a soft, resigned sigh.

Deep down, she knew her mother’s nature all too well, having already accepted to share Azriel with her own daughter and many others to come, it was only a matter of time before Vesperia also claimed her own piece of him.

[LIVE CHAT]

[Sadistic69] (Red): DID VESPERIA JUST PAUSE ON ’MOTHER-IN-LAW’ LIKE THAT?! BRO THE TENSION IS INSANE

[I_Love_Leaf] (Golden): 1,000 XP threshold is nothing once he starts clearing entire waves with that chain!

[Moon_Priestess_99] (Cyan): HUNT THEM ALL AZRIEL!!

Azriel checked his stream UI with a quick flick of his eyes, suppressing a smirk as the chat exploded with hype.

The KP donations were already pouring in, bolstering his balance as the divine audience buckled up for live combat.

"An E-Rank dungeon, huh?" Azriel muttered, rolling his shoulders as a dark, eager aura flickered around his body.

"What kind of monstrosities am I butchering today?"

"Level 3 Iron-Claw Raptors, Level 5 Corrupted Timber-Wolves, and many others." Rosalind replied, her hand glowing with spatial aether as she tore a jagged, shimmering tear into the fabric of reality right in front of them.

"Sounds like FUN," Azriel murmured, his violet eyes flashing with anticipation.

Rosalind turned and motioned for them to follow her out of the main courtyard, leading the way toward a secluded stone pavilion built into the edge of the estate grounds.

Stopping before a smooth, polished marble pedestal, she reached into her sleeve and pulled out an exquisite silver ring inscribed with intricate, glowing spatial runes.

Turning toward Azriel, she gently took his hand and slid the ring into his palm.

Azriel looked down at the gleaming silver band, then raised his head, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.

"Oh? Are we getting engaged already, my Lady? My bad... I didn’t bring a ring for you."

Rosalind’s cheeks instantly flushed a deep, charming crimson.

"S-Shut up, you idiot!" she huffed, crossing her arms to hide her flustered expression, though her golden eyes sparkled with affection.

"It’s a spatial storage ring! Most storage rings require a channel of internal aether to open, but since you’re still an Awakener, I custom-crafted this one for you. It took a lot of delicate spatial energy and time to forge, so you better take good care of it! You can access its inventory space using pure mental intent, no aether required."

Azriel deliberately tried slipping the sleek band onto his index finger, then his middle finger, exaggerating a frown as it failed to slide past his knuckles.

"That’s weird... it’s not fitting any of these," he murmured, before wiggling his left ring finger with a deadpan expression.

"Why don’t you try putting it on this one?"

Rosalind let out a soft laugh, her heart melting at his shameless playfulness.

Stepping closer, she took the ring from his palm and gently slid it all the way down his ring finger.

"Oh, look at that, it fits perfectly," Azriel noted smoothly, admiring the silver band gleaming against his skin.

"I’ll treasure it, wifey."

Rosalind’s breath hitched, her eyes softening into pure molten gold at the title as her flustered posture completely relaxed.

"Ahem," Vesperia cleared her throat with a low, heavy rasp, her feline ears twitching as a subtle prickle of jealousy flared in her golden eyes.

"Why don’t we get going before you two start picking out nursery colors?"

Rosalind shot her mother a smug, satisfied smile before pointing toward the massive, circular array of runic lines carved deep into the pavilion floor.

"Now," Rosalind said, her voice dripping with playful victory, "step onto the transit rune."

Azriel and Vesperia stepped into the center of the carved circle.

As they took their positions, Rosalind drew a translucent, glowing crystal from her storage ring.

It pulsed with a dense, breathtaking surge of pure energy that made the surrounding air hum.

Azriel’s eyes narrowed on the shimmering gem.

"What’s that?"

"It’s an Aether Crystal," Rosalind explained, tracing its facets.

"High-purity energy catalysts mined deep within high-grade dungeons. Standard array runes need them to bridge long-distance spatial corridors."

Before setting the crystal down, Rosalind stepped onto the edge of the array.

She grabbed Azriel by his collar, pulling him down into a deep, possessive kiss that left his head spinning and the live chat roaring in excitement.

Breaking away, her golden eyes searched his with intense, protective devotion.

"Don’t get hurt out there."

She then shot a firm, knowing look toward her mother. Vesperia simply offered a lazy, feline smirk in return, her tail giving a nonchalant sway.

Satisfied, Rosalind stepped back and slotted the Aether Crystal directly into the pedestal’s central nexus.

Pushing her own golden spatial aether into the lines, the entire pavilion erupted in a blinding column of radiant white light.

BWAAAM—!

The spatial lines flared with overwhelming power, and in the next instant, the light vanished, leaving the circular rune completely empty.

The blinding column of white light vanished as quickly as it had erupted, leaving behind a sharp, cold rush of mountain air.

Azriel blinked away the lingering afterimages, his boots sinking slightly into a carpet of damp alpine grass and pine needles.

The cozy heat of the estate was gone, replaced by a crisp, biting breeze that whistled through a vast, isolated mountain valley.

Jagged stone cliffs towered around them like gargantuan guardians, their peaks shrouded in heavy, swirling mist.

Directly in front of them, embedded into the sheer rock wall of the valley, hovered the entry to the dungeon.

It was a jagged, tear in the fabric of reality, a vertical spatial crack over fifteen feet tall. The edges of the rift rippled like liquid glass, pulsing with a ethereal, sapphire-blue light that cast eerie, dancing shadows across the rock face.

A subtle, low hum radiated from the fissure, accompanied by the distinct, sulfurous stench of dungeon beasts.

"Well, well..." Vesperia purred beside him, her husky voice pulling him out of his quiet observation.

Azriel turned to glance at her.

She stood with her arms crossed beneath her chest, the posture accentuating her voluptuous bust snug beneath her brown leather armor, while fitted leather pants hugged every lethal, intoxicating curve of her hips and thighs.

Her golden feline pupils reflected the deep sapphire glow of the rift as she inhaled the crisp mountain air.

"Not a bad destination," Vesperia noted smoothly, a lazy smirk playing on her lips. "The spatial transit was clean. Rosalind really has mastered her class."

Azriel looked around at the towering canyon walls before locking his violet eyes on the shimmering rift. "Shall we?"

"After you, handsome," Vesperia replied, subtly suppressing her massive Overlord aura down to absolute zero so her raw, terrifying presence wouldn’t accidentally shatter the delicate E-Rank spatial structure to pieces.

Stepping within a foot of the blue fissure, Azriel felt the atmospheric pressure spike.

While nowhere near as suffocating as the sheer aura of Vesperia or Rosalind, the dungeon gate exerted a distinct, heavy weight on his senses.

The moment he crossed the threshold, a sudden, magnetic pull yanked him into the portal, swallowing his figure in a flash of sapphire light.

Behind him, Vesperia let out a lazy yawn, stepping through the rippling tear with effortless grace.
