"Wait a minute," Heavenly Eye interrupted. "I thought you said you didn’t know where they got their divine crystals. In fact, you said that Black Chain sabotaged your sect by helping your disciples with the divine crystals they needed to break free from you."

Before responding to her, he glared at his three ungrateful disciples, daring them to come forward to fight him. When none of them stood up to him, he snorted and said, "That’s what I thought."

It was then that he said to Heavenly Eye, "You’re not the only one who can lie."

Hearing this, the eagle began clapping as it said, "I am genuinely impressed. It seems there is hope for you after all."

By the side, Tepid Scholar was shaking his head and saying, "I have been deceived. To think I always thought you were upright and foolish."

"I’ve never been stupid," Martial Will said with a snort of dissatisfaction. "I’ve only been slow because I didn’t prioritize my Divine Spirit. That’s different."

"It might be faster for you to come to a conclusion, but it doesn’t mean I won’t come to that conclusion. It will only take me more time to get there."

Beside him, Sword Way sighed as he said, "I wish I too had a few pathways hidden somewhere."

Then he glanced briefly at Black Chain before saying, "At least, I’m not the weakest anymore."

Just as he said this, Black Chain snorted in disdain. The Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect didn’t say anything, but a new star suddenly appeared in his Domain.

This new star was a Grand Dao, putting Black Chain at two Grand Daos now. In comparison, Sword Maestro had one Grand Dao and one Minor Dao. So Black Chain had suddenly become stronger than Sword Maestro again.

Upon seeing the new pathway that Black Chain revealed, Sword Maestro chuckled bitterly and said, "I’m still not the weakest. There are many people weaker than me."

This time, he looked at Loki and Harem King to indicate who he was talking about. He also looked at them to see if they would bring out a previously hidden pathway that he didn’t know about.

Fortunately, Green Fire, Immobile Mountain, Carefree Immortal, Loki, and Harem King didn’t expose more pathways or do anything to change the status quo. So he sighed in relief.

The fact that Black Chain had revealed a new pathway meant that he had six pathways before and had been a six-star celestial. Unfortunately, because of recent events, this reveal didn’t have as much impact as it should.

Not only was Black Chain only a two-star celestial now, which wasn’t worth much, but two people had revealed hidden pathways before him, and these two had even revealed more than one hidden pathway, so his one more Grand Dao didn’t stir the waters as it should.

After taking a look at the new Curse Pathway and taking note of it, the group moved on with their work. They set up their Domains in the three new super worlds. Then they went to survey the other large worlds.

During the survey, they took note of the size of the large world, its number of world kings, and the amount of world essence it possessed. They then used these particulars to rank the large worlds in order of closeness to advancement.

The large worlds that were close to meeting the requirements to advance would be easy to help become super worlds and thus became higher on the list of priorities. They used this list to determine which large world to help first.

The list didn’t lead to immediate action, though. The Dao Lords took a vote and decided to wait a while before actually helping any of the large worlds to advance.

This decision was made partly because the advancement would require some resources, which they were hesitant to provide at the moment. But the main reason they didn’t want more super worlds so quickly was that most of them hadn’t finished digesting the benefits of the extra Domains that they just created.

Most of them hadn’t finished expanding their Domains on the seven super worlds because they lacked the lifespan to do so. So their need for more super worlds was not urgent.

Only Loki and Black Chain wanted more super worlds as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they were outvoted.

However, the ten of them did swear not to interfere with each other if they decided to help some large worlds to advance. And they agreed that anyone who helped a large world to advance could ask any Dao Lord who wanted to set up their Domain on the newly advanced super worlds to pay half of the price of resources they spent on helping the large world to advance.

After they made this agreement and swore the oaths to make it official, the Dao Lords returned the way they came, sending their avatars back to the divine constellation.

On his way back to the divine constellation of the Blessed Heaven World, Loki spent some time thinking about his gains. ’I now have one Domain with a size of 8.1 billion square kilometers on seven super worlds. That makes a total of 56.7 billion square kilometers.’

’That is very good. It would be better if only I had a Domain on those super worlds, though.’

He can use the full power of his Domains at 56.7 billion square kilometers in the third heaven, but the amount of Domain power he can use in the Sea of Worlds is more complicated and definitely less than that.

First of all, the amount of power that an avatar can use is dependent on which super world the avatar is used to descend. In general, the bigger the super world, the stronger the avatar would be.

If this were all that determined how strong his avatar would be, he would be fine with it. Unfortunately, there was another factor that he couldn’t control, whose influence on the Domain power of his avatar was too much to ignore.
