After realizing the problem, he took the Time Supreme Metac he had gotten from devouring Time Traveler. It was a multicolored loop of thin metal the size of his head.

-TIME(ESSENCE OF CYCLICAL TIME - 81): Time Loop(9). Time Stasis. Time Slow. Time Speedup. Past Self. Blade of Time.

After using the Power Identification Ability to make sure that there was nothing wrong with it, he sent it to the spark of power. It fused with the spark of power without any issues, so he sighed in relief and sent it to the 4-D prototype.

Unfortunately, this move didn’t work. The Time Supreme Metac was repelled by the Time Supreme Metac already within the 4-D prototype.

’I’m not surprised, to be honest,’ he thought to himself. ’It is like trying to use the same brick in two places when building a house.’

’I would be surprised if it had worked. Fortunately, I have something else I could do.’

Since that option didn’t work, he spent some of his lifespan to recreate the Divine Metacs within the Time Supreme Metac.

These were the Time Stasis Metac, Time Slow Metac, Time Speedup Metac, Past Self Metac, and the Blade of Time Metac.

He had used the Metac Creation Ability to create the five Divine Metacs. This is an ability that every Dao Lord can use. Creating Divine Metacs requires that they have supreme mastery of the pathway the Divine Metacs belong to and need some lifespan.

After the five Divine Metacs appeared, he activated the Metac Creation Ability to create three more Divine Metacs. He used three random Divine Metacs from his other pathways.

Once he had eight Divine Metacs, he used the Divine Position Creation Ability to upgrade the Divine Metacs into Divine Positions. Then he spent more lifespan to upgrade them to rank 8.

The Divine Position Creation Ability is also another ability that Dao Lords can use. Like the Metac Creation Ability, it needed the Dao Lord to be in possession of a Supreme Metac that had fused with a godhead and had expanded with the assistance of the Dao Source.

So normally, Dao Lords could only create Metacs and Divine Positions for the stars within them. But he was not limited to that because of the Spark of Power.

As long as he had once fused a Supreme Metac with his Spark of Power, he could recreate the Divine Metacs and Divine Positions for it. In fact, he can also recreate the Supreme Metac within the Spark of Power.

So he could have recreated the Time Supreme Metac, but he didn’t do so. Instead of doing that, he created the Divine Metacs within the Supreme Metac so that he could use them as raw materials to create a new Supreme Metac.

Therefore, once the eight rank 8 Divine Positions were ready, he got to work melting them down and extracting commonality from them. As for the final product, he recreated the Rewind Metac and used it as a template.

When he was done, the final product appeared before him. A quick use of the Power Identification Ability revealed its particulars.

-TIME(ESSENCE OF REVERSED TIME - 81): Time Rewind(9).

When he saw what he had created, he nodded in satisfaction and said, "It took some tweaking, but it is finally done. I am now a bonafide Time Dao Lord. It is high time too."

"Not only is it better at traveling through the River of Time, but it can also reverse the motion of a target, making them move backwards in time along the path they walked before. This is excellent."

"I knew I could do it, but this is still impressive," he said with pride.

He would have loved to admire his handiwork even longer. Unfortunately, he had work to do. So after a quick look, he threw the finished product into the spark of power. Then he fused it with the 4-D prototype.

He had essentially rewritten the Time Loop Supreme Metac into the Time Rewind Supreme Metac. What he created received the approval of the Time Source Dao, so he was able to transform the Rewind Metac from a Divine Metac into a Supreme Metac.

Apparently, what he created was also good enough for the 4-D prototype because it allowed the Time Rewind Supreme Metac to fuse with it. Therefore, when the Time Rewind Supreme Metac received the support of its Source Dao and expanded, an additional 27 units of commonality were made available to the 4-D prototype.

With the extra 27 units of commonality, he now had a total of 426 units of commonality. Since he needed a total of 408 units to solidify the 1st cube up to the 16th cube, he had enough and even had 18 units left over. These remaining 18 units of commonality were left over in the 17th cube.

Once the 16th cube solidified, the matter of divine crystals flowed into it and was transformed into divinity. Only the 408 units of commonality that made up the first 16th cubes were transformed into divinity, though.

The remaining 18 units of commonality couldn’t be converted because the 17th cube was not solidified and couldn’t transform divine crystal into power. He was still satisfied with this development, though. After all, 18 is only 4.23% of 426, which is not significant.

When he saw the success of his plan, he said, "Since that worked, why stop there?"

As he spoke, he didn’t hesitate to create the five Divine Metacs he had just made. So the Time Stasis Metac, Time Slow Metac, Time Speedup Metac, Past Self Metac, the Blade of Time Metac l, and three more random Divine Metacs appeared before him once again.

He also recreated the Rewind Divine Metac. But this time, he swapped the position of the Blade of Time Metac and the Rewind Metac.

So the Rewind Metac will be part of the Divine Metacs sacrificed to create the Supreme Metac, while the Blade of Time Divine Metac will be used as the template to create the final product.
