THE GOD EATER

Chapter 861: Monarch Giant Zombie.

He chuckled and said, "If he is only half as crazy as that woman, I would appreciate it."

Actually, he doesn’t want to fight this rank 8 cultivator. What he wants to do is talk to them and make them an offer.

So it would be best if they were not crazy and were reasonable. That way, his offer would be seriously considered and might even be accepted.

However, he also knew some people needed to be beaten before they could see reason. This was especially the case if they were powerful people.

From his experience, powerful people needed their pride and stubbornness beaten out of them before one could talk to them. It didn’t matter if they were crazy or not.

So after muttering to himself about what to do, he sent one of Fenrir’s manifestations to deal with Monarch Giant Zombie. The manifestation he sent went straight for the skull of one of the undead giants.

He can still remember how troublesome it had been to deal with the rank 5 death cultivator with the mutated Death Crow Life Ability. Her body was hidden somewhere, so he couldn’t kill her.

He had been able to destroy her skeletons, and he even crippled her undead giant at one point. But she had always been able to regain control of her undead giant time and rime again.

He wasn’t able to kill her until she tried to invade his mind with her Mental World. Because of this, he didn’t expect to harm the Monarch Giant Zombie by destroying his undead giants.

So right from the start, he went for one of the crows controlling the undead giants. He marked the crow with a tracking mark before he let Fenrir attack it.

Monarch Giant Zombie had sent over a hundred undead giants into the second heaven. They were lumbering around like drunk bulls looking for the dragon.

One of them suddenly spotted a white dog. This sight was odd in more ways than one.

The sighting of the white dog drew Monarch Giant Zombie’s attention to this place. This caused the eyes of the undead giant to glow with sentience.

Immediately, his mind descended into the undead giant, the giant’s clumsy gaith straightened out, and the giant’s posture became upright. Its dull, unfocused eyes also became focused. They were focused on the approaching dog.

When Monarch Giant Zombie saw the white dog, he said, "What kind of dog is this? What is a dog doing here in the second heaven? And why does it have a snake for a tail?"

"Since it is in the second heaven, it has to be a spirit creature or the manifestation of the power of a divine being. And since it is coming towards me, it is most likely coming to fight me."

There were a lot of things he didn’t know about this white dog, but one thing he was sure of was that this dog was not an ordinary dog.

As for whether the dog would attack him, that was still uncertain. However, he was not willing to take chances and be caught off guard. So he decided to take action to eliminate the dog before he was ambushed.

He is safe and should be in no danger whatsoever since this giant zombie is only a puppet he is controlling. The death of the puppet shouldn’t affect him in any way, but he still took the fight seriously.

He activated all four Divine Metacs in his possession. The first one to activate was the Death’s Calling Metac.

"Rawrrrrrrr!"

As soon as he activated the Death’s calling, the undead giant opened its mouth and roared at the incoming white dog. A deep sound came from its throat that pulled on the dog’s mind and thoughts.

The Death’s Calling Metac is a Divine Metac that uses the Will Stat of the host to compel the target to accept death. If someone who is too weak hears the call of death, they will kill themselves immediately.

A weak target will immediately find various ways to commit suicide. If the recipient is strong, they won’t commit suicide. The call of death might only make them surrender and let the user of the Death’s Calling Metac kill them.

In case the recipient is too strong, then they can shrug off the effect of the Death’s Calling Metac entirely. It seems this is the case because the dog didn’t stop rushing towards the undead giant.

This was because the power of the dog was 9(Cultivation Rank) × 9(Stat) × 9(Fenrir Supreme Metac), which is 728 units of divine power. In comparison, the power of the attack was 8(Cultivation Rank) × 8(Will) × 8(Death’s Calling Metac), which is 512 units of divine power.

Monarch Giant Zombie didn’t know just how strong the dog was. But he realized that his attack wasn’t good enough, so he quickly added the power of the Spirit Mark Metac to the mix.

The undead giant was still screaming at the dog, and it was the only one screaming. But when the undead giant began using the Spirit Mark Metac, the dog seemed to hear 8 undead giants screaming at it from different directions.

The undead giants were screaming in a way that their screams layered on top of each other and superimposed to create a more powerful scream. This scream was finally able to break through the dog’s defense.

The power of this second attack was 8(Cultivation Rank) × (8(Will) + 8(Mind)) × (8(Death’s Calling Metac) + 8(Spirit Mark)), which is 2,048 units of divine power. With the power of the undead giant becoming four times as powerful as it was, the white dog was overwhelmed.

In Monarch Giant Zombie’s vision, he saw 8 invisible mysterious marks attach themselves to the white dog. He knew that these marks were curses and would amplify the power of the Death’s Calling Metac. To be specific, they could enhance the power of his attack by up tp four times.
