This situation was only temporary, of course. If Monarch Giant Zombie were to send another black crow to possess the undead giant, the giant would be up and about in no time.

This is one of the things that made it difficult to kill puppeteers. But Loki had a feeling that the rank 8 death cultivator wouldn’t be able to manage this any time soon.

Loki smiled and said to himself, "What a power. Having a Supreme Metac is so great. It really changes everything."

"I didn’t even do much. I came, and he was defeated. This is what a rank 9 should be capable of."

In that brief moment of confrontation, his power had jumped from 3,645 units to 9(Cultivation Rank) × (9(Body) + 9(Mind) + 9(Soul) + 9(Will) + 9(Insight)) × 81(Fenrir Supreme Metac), which is 32,805 units of divine power.

So his power had jumped by 9 times. And if he had used the Supreme Metac in combination with any Divine Metac or used the spark of power to combine the Domination Supreme Metac with Fenrir, he would have been ten times as powerful.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t use the power of the spark of power through the manifestation of Fenrir. He could only use the power of the Devouring Supreme Metac through the manifestation.

He will need to be there in person before he can use the spark of power to combine the power of two or more Supreme Metacs. And the Hunting Form Ability alone used a whopping 81 years of lifespan.

This cost made him wince. He even felt that it might have been a good thing that he couldn’t have the power of two Supreme Metacs.

However, even though he couldn’t combine the power of the Devouring Pathway and the Domination Pathway, the power of the Devouring Pathway alone was enough for what he wanted to achieve.

He succeeded in destroying the black crow that he marked. This caused the mark on the crow to return to the source of the crow. So the mark reappeared on the Death Crow Metac within the core of Monarch Giant Zombie’s Cave Heaven.

After Loki sensed the change in the location of the mark, he smiled and said, "Let us begin."

As he spoke, he activated the Hunting Form Metac on the mark. This caused the mark to transform into a manifestation of Fenrir. But it too transformed into the real form, so it possessed the full power of Fenrir, which he had just used to defeat the undead giant.

Something like this should have been impossible to do in the past, since only the Tracking Ability could be used on the mark. Then the mark can transform into a seal through the Seal Ability when the target dies.

But Fenrir is a Supreme Metac now, so it can combine any of its abilities together. It is how Monarch Giant Zombie was able to combine his Divine Metacs earlier to make the curse of the Spirit Mark transform into a black crow.

He wasn’t caught off guard earlier when Monarch Giant Zombie had chained those Divine Metacs together like that. He had seen those Divine Metacs before they were activated, and he knew what they were capable of, so he was only surprised when he was struck with the special abilities. But Monarch Giant Zombie wasn’t so fortunate.

He had been surprised because he didn’t know what kind of combination attacks those four Divine Metacs were capable of. He only knew what they were capable of individually. But Monarch Giant Zombie didn’t know what he was capable of at all.

So when the giant white wolf he had just fought earlier appeared in the place that was supposed to be his safest place, he was very surprised. The only saving grace was that he knew what he was up against.

He knew that he was still fighting the giant wolf. Unfortunately for him, this knowledge alone will not be able to turn the tide.

After all, he lost the confrontation earlier. What was to stop him from losing now?

Whatever answer he could come up with to that question began to dwindle when Loki placed one mark on each of the four Divine Positions in the core of the Cave Heaven. Then he activated the Siphon Ability on all of them.

When the power of the Seal Ability struck the four Divine Metacs, the Life Fire began to flicker precariously. Monarch Giant Zombie’s heart tightened in fear and panic because of this. In contrast, the dog had a smile on his face.

The Siphon Ability was extracting 81 years of lifespan per second from each of the marks. With four of them working together like this, he was able to siphon 324 years of lifespan per second.

This wasn’t even the full power of the Siphon Ability, but he still thought that this was something to be happy about, so he smiled. But Monarch Giant Zombie thought otherwise and was instead looking at him like he had seen the angel of death.

So Loki decided to dispel some of his fears. As he was smiling, he said, "Relax. If I wanted to kill you, I would. This is just an appetizer to make you behave yourself."

He could have activated the Seal Ability or the Devouring Ability on the Divine Metacs through the marks. But he didn’t want to kill Monarch Giant Zombie, so he didn’t do it.

Clearly, he was speaking the truth, but Monarch Giant Zombie didn’t believe him. The rank 8 cultivator took a step away from him in fright. Then he activated the Giant Zombie Metac.

Right now, the only tool the rank 8 death cultivator had to use to bear his power was his Life Fire. So he had turned his white Life Fire into his likeness. That likeness changed now that he was activating a Divine Metac for changing his form.

It seemed that instead of believing him, Monarch Giant Zombie wanted to take matters into his hands. Loki couldn’t exactly blame him since he, too, agreed that the strength of one’s hands was the most trustworthy thing in the world.
