As far as the bystanders could tell, no one had attacked the six of them, yet they died. This could only happen if Dragon Transformation killed them or if Dragon Transformation had died, thereby taking them down with him.

No one wanted to believe that Dragon Transformation had died because it would mean that the dragon had killed him. That would further mean that the dragon was too powerful for them to mess with.

But when they checked and saw that he couldn’t be contacted and that four more Divine Positions had dimmed in the divine constellation, they knew without a doubt that he had died. As soon as they made this confirmation, every single divine being who was still being stubborn left the second heaven.

Most divine beings had left the second heaven after ten people died suddenly. Only the stubborn rank 7 and powerful rank 8 cultivator, who were confident in their strength, dared to remain in the second heaven.

But after these remaining divine beings combined everything they knew, and came to the conclusion that the dragon had killed Dragon Transformation, Money Body, plus everyone in the two alliances, no one dared to remain confident in their strength. Everyone ran for their lives.

The spirit of the pathways in the five sects also thought that the dragon had killed both rank 8 cultivators. This raised their evaluation of the dragon from being some ordinary dragon to being a dragon king.

As for whether this dragon would be a rank 9 divine being, they had no reason to consider this option. In fact, they had many reasons not to consider the dragon being a rank 9 as a valid reason. The main one being the absence of a new super world.

It was common sense that only a Super World could support the existence of a rank 9 being. Nearly every divine being knows this much.

What isn’t known is that even someone who managed to create a Supreme Metac would still be at rank 8 without the support of a super world.

So it was possible for the dragon to have a Supreme Metac. But unless the dragon was a fallen Dao Lord, there is no way it would have a rank 9 Dao Status without a Super World.

Since they hadn’t seen the appearance of a Super World recently, there couldn’t be a new rank 9 powerhouse in the Sea of Worlds. Because of this, they didn’t mention this possibility to their respective Dao Lords when they reported the situation.

In the conclusions that they reported, they stated that the dragon was likely to be a dragon king. The Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect was stirred because of this.

He wanted to crush the dragon king if only for pleasure. But his hatred for dragons still wasn’t enough to motivate him to make a move. Especially since war had been declared.

Just like the previous timelines, the death of two rank 8 cultivators was the spark that initiated a war. The war was limited to the Blessed Heaven World, and it was declared against the Martial Body Sect.

The Sword Way Sect, the Myriad Phenomenon Sect, and the Nexus of Truth Sect all declared war against the Martial Body Sect. The Four Directions Sect also declared war against the Martial Body Sect. When the other three sects heard this declaration, they also declared war against the Four Directions Sect.

So there were to be three sides for this war. Both the Martial Body Sect and the Four Directions Sect were fighting on their own, while the other three sects were fighting together. Because of this complicated setup, the Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect felt that he shouldn’t distract himself because of some dragon king.

However, this didn’t mean that he intended to let the dragon go. He was a vengeful person, and he hated dragons. The fact that he couldn’t make a move himself didn’t mean he was going to let this go. So with his scheming mind, he set a plan in motion to teach the dragon a lesson.

Meanwhile, the dragon was helping his two disciples wholeheartedly. He was there for them with information, directions, and advice for every step of the creation of their Supreme Metac.

If anyone didn’t know better, they would think that he was their master. An uninformed person would be fooled into believing that he had the best intentions for them in his heart.

Fortunately, the two rank 8 cultivators were not ignorant or uninformed. Not once did they think he had the best of intentions for them.

At best, they thought he was helping them so that he could turn them into powerful tools that he would use to attack other Dao Lords. At worst, they believed that he was helping them so that he could steal their Supreme Metac.

Monarch Dragon Transformation was inclined to believe the former, while Money Body was inclined to believe the latter. He was thinking about it while he was knee deep in creating his Supreme Metac.

Money Body’s mind churned as he thought, ’I guess it won’t be so bad if I can create a Supreme Metac. As long as he kills me quickly enough, all I’ll feel before death is pure joy. If I can have that, I should be grateful for allowing me to live for longer.’

Then his thoughts shifted with cunning, and he thought, ’Besides, it is not certain if he will be able to kill me when I create my Supreme Metac. I might be able to fight for my freedom and live. At the very least, I won’t make my death easy for him.’

Just like before, he was now scheming to turn against the hand that was feeding him. It was simply in his nature to be rebellious.

Loki could guess what the rank 8 Money Cultivator was thinking, but he didn’t mind. However, he very much minded that Money Body was distracted. So he smacked the money cultivator on the back of the head.
