The Golden Lord has a perverted SSS-rank summoning system!
Chapter 376: Improving the CityIronically, Raynar was less concerned about the deal itself and more about that green fairy wine.
The current head heiress of the Drakenoir family was not only a talented businesswoman and a beauty without equal, but also a passionate lover of rare wines.
Raynar sincerely feared she would leap onto the first available ship and race straight to Goldenveil the very moment the first drop of that wine touched her lips.
In the end, he could only push such thoughts out of his mind and focus on finishing everything he still had to do in the city.
At dusk, Ethan finally watched the Drakenoir ships set sail. Their dark sails stood silhouetted against a sky tinged with orange and purple, while the warm harbor breeze carried the salty scent of the sea, mingled with the sweet aroma of the city’s fruit trees.
He had offered the merchants rooms in several of Goldenveil’s empty hotels and residences for the night, but Raynar was in a hurry. The stop in the city had been unexpected, and he still had a deadline to meet.
Recognizing the merchant’s responsibilities, Ethan did not press the matter, simply sending him on his way with a few bottles of wine as a gift, along with a single fruit from the Tree of Life.
Just a small token of the friendship and future cooperation between Goldenveil and the Drakenoir family.
With a weary sigh and a space ring stuffed full of gold, Ethan accompanied Doran and Theron through Goldenveil’s bustling streets. The magical streetlights flickered to life one by one atop their lampposts as night settled over the city.
"How did trade with the common people go?" Ethan asked, since the Drakenoir family had set up a few small temporary stalls, buying and selling goods directly to Goldenveil’s residents.
Commander Doran and Thalion, the second-in-command of Goldenveil’s army, had been put in charge of overseeing these sales alongside the many officers of the Drakenoir family.
"Everything went smoothly, my lord. The total amount of gold traded was about forty thousand coins," Doran replied, drawing a satisfied smile from Ethan.
He was pleasantly surprised by the figure—far higher than he’d expected for a single day of informal trade.
"And Cain? How’s his training going? He and Vaelith are already close to advancing to the third stage, aren’t they?" Ethan asked, shifting his gaze between Doran and Thalion—the latter being Vaelith’s father.
"Yes, my lord. They plan to advance before the march to Fallenwinter," Thalion replied, a hint of paternal pride slipping into his voice.
"Very well. If they work hard enough, I’ll soon promote them to the rank of legate, making both of them into legion commanders," Ethan declared casually.
The two men were obviously delighted to hear this.
Thalion was Vaelith’s father, so naturally he wished to see his son become a powerful Legatus—perhaps even a general someday.
Doran, for his part, was Cain’s trainer. And after the Tree of Life had been established in Goldenveil, the boy’s mother had successfully advanced to the second stage, her appearance—previously marked by age—reversing to that of a woman no older than thirty.
Doran loved his young wife; of that there was no doubt.
But after repeated encounters with Cain’s mother while training her son, he had begun to feel something for that busty MILF and her generous, mature curves.
She possessed only Rank D talent. But in Goldenveil, and with the wealth Doran had amassed, she would almost certainly advance to the third stage within the next ten years, her beauty preserved for centuries thereafter.
Doran had already slept with her on more than one occasion, and he soon planned to formally take responsibility for the woman, taking her as his second wife and becoming Cain’s adoptive father.
Obviously, he was also pleased with the prospect of Cain becoming a Legatus.
A powerful son, two beautiful wives, a prosperous life. There wasn’t much more a man could wish for.
Ethan simply shook his head with a wry smile, already knowing full well what was running through Doran’s mind.
There were more women than men in Goldenveil, and many of the single and older MILFs, under the influence of the Tree of Life, were already transforming into incomparable beauties.
Thanks to the city’s extraordinary magical density, they had a high probability of reaching at least the third stage with sufficient resources invested in them, especially considering Goldenveil’s unique ability to enhance the talent of its citizens.
Theron himself had already taken three additional wives: one elf and two humans.
Soon enough, both Theron and Doran—each of whom had already elevated their talents to SS Rank—would have children, and those children would also be born as great talents.
Cain and Vaelith themselves—also talents whom Ethan had elevated to SS Rank through the military talent management system—were already of an age to marry and have children, with Cain even currently dating Vaelith’s sister.
In the end, Ethan could only smile in satisfaction as his eyes fell upon the Goldenveil status screen that materialized before him.

He hadn’t upgraded the city yet, since his wealth had been right at the limit, and he’d needed to invest two hundred thousand gold coins in the players’ guild, in addition to maintaining a safety reserve in case of any unforeseen events.
Fortunately, that limit no longer existed.
Ethan smiled, came to a stop in the middle of the lantern-lit street, and clicked to upgrade Goldenveil, eager to see what changes would take place in the city.
