Ling Feng stayed behind, sharing a room with the Empress of Starlight for a very special night.

It was special mainly because he had never encountered a woman like this.

The Empress of Starlight held a very high status, and as someone of authority, she had long been accustomed to looking down on the world, be it people or other matters.

"I’ll give you the coordinates later. If you’re free, you should go explore them," the Empress of Starlight said.

The Empress of Starlight quickly left Lingyun Island and returned to the Starlight Empire, while Ling Feng took the coordinates to Gu Li.

Once there, seeing his sly smile, Ling Feng was taken aback: "Why are you smiling so deviously?"

"Boss, you’re really something, actually managed to ’that thing’ with the Queen last night?" Gu Li chuckled.

"Don’t mention it!"

Ling Feng gave him an annoyed look, then smiled bitterly: "I don’t even know who was sleeping with whom!"

Gu Li nodded: "Go check it out, figure it out, then we can talk."

"Exactly."

Ling Feng smiled and had Gu Li send the coordinates and maps to his phone, then got up and left his office.

Outside, he was getting ready to teleport back to Shiliu Village and investigate the space-time vortex at his doorstep.

Just then, someone came out from the teleportation array, and as they met eyes, Sato Saori smiled and asked: "What are you up to?"

"About to leave; why did you come?" Ling Feng asked.

"Nothing much, came to take a break."

Sato Saori said, immediately asking: "Where are you going?"

"Back home, there’s a situation that needs investigating," Ling Feng said.

Sato Saori’s eyes gleamed upon hearing this: "Mind if I join you?"

"Sure."

Ling Feng didn’t even think twice and nodded directly.

Having company is definitely better than going alone, right?

As Sato Saori saw him agree, she beamed with delight, extending her little hand: "Let’s go then!"

Ling Feng smiled, took her hand, and activated the teleportation. After passing through the transit station, they soon arrived at Shiliu Village.

Ling Feng didn’t linger at home, instead, he took Sato Saori up into the air and flew toward the mountains.

Once they reached the area and landed in the valley, Sato Saori asked: "Why did you come here?"

"Here’s the thing..."

Ling Feng explained the situation while searching for the coordinates.

Sato Saori listened and felt a bit perplexed, feeling both surprised and a bit apprehensive like Gu Li.
