Ling Feng smiled, "This world is indeed not mine, and it’s not really related to me."
"Yeah, this is a parallel universe, not your home!" Li Chunxi pouted.
"But the people here are of the Huaxia lineage after all. I don’t want them to suffer from wars or disasters, is that reason enough?" Ling Feng asked.
Li Chunxi hesitated, then glanced at him, "You really are so magnanimous!"
"Uh..."
Ling Feng was caught without words.
Li Chunxi however, chuckled, "Alright, I shouldn’t have said that, sorry!"
"That’s really unusual."
Ling Feng heard this and smiled as he spoke.
"I know I can be a bit arrogant at times, but that’s just my personality, I’m actually quite amiable, and a reasonable person!" Li Chunxi said.
"Princess, no one praises themselves like that!" Ling Feng said speechlessly.
Li Chunxi glared at him, "I like it!"
All of a sudden, the distance between the two narrowed significantly; whether it was due to him finding movies for her or Ling Feng’s open-mindedness winning over Li Chunxi, it was unclear.
Anyway, the two no longer felt the previous animosity towards each other.
Yet, Li Chunxi suddenly asked, "So if you go to Australia, could you take me along?"
"Um..."
Ling Feng pondered for a moment, "Better not, right? Isn’t staying here to watch movies nice?"
"Why not just go on the spaceship, it won’t delay anything!" Li Chunxi said.
Ling Feng gave a bitter smile, "Such a big spaceship, flying it over? I’m planning a covert reconnaissance mission, if this thing shows up, all the Devil Clan will know someone’s come!"
"Then what do you plan to do?" Li Chunxi asked.
"Fly directly over!" Ling Feng said.
"Don’t kid, flying over will take a day and a night, won’t it? Aren’t you exhausted?" Li Chunxi inquired.
"Tired as that may be, it’s a serious matter, can’t just ignore it!" Ling Feng said.
Li Chunxi looked at him and then said, "Just admit you don’t want to take me, you’re saying you’ll fly over, don’t I know there’s a miniature spaceship on the big ship? If not using the big one, can’t the small one work?"
"....."
Ling Feng was directly silenced.
He hadn’t expected Li Chunxi’s thoughts to be so precise!
She really wasn’t wrong, Ling Feng was planning to take the miniature spaceship over.
Now that she had revealed the plan, he could only say, "Alright, then I’ll bring you along at departure, but one thing must be clear, once we get there, all actions must follow my lead!"
"Sure sure, I’ll listen to you!" Li Chunxi said with some impatience.
The matter was decided, but it wasn’t an immediate departure, because Ling Feng still needed to check on the wind and solar power plants.
Actually, he was just worrying needlessly, the construction team had dedicated personnel for supervision and management, he didn’t need to intervene.
But Ling Feng felt it necessary to explain that should anything unexpected happen in his absence, they could contact Lin Tai or the village chief Ma Qun.
After explaining these matters, seeing everything progressing orderly, Ling Feng left satisfied.
Returning to the Ling Yun spaceship, he saw Li Chunxi engrossed in a movie, and asked, "Are we finishing this movie before we leave, or heading out now?"
"Let’s go now, I’ve asked the Spaceship System, movies can be watched on Little Fei too!" Li Chunxi said.
"You’ve got that sorted, haven’t you!"
Ling Feng helplessly shook his head.
Then the two went to the miniature spaceship and left the mothership!
Whilst heading to Australia, seeing Li Chunxi intensely focused on the screen, Ling Feng couldn’t help but ask, "I say, Princess, aren’t you worried I might abduct you by taking you away like this?"
"If you wanted to abduct someone, you’d have taken my father back then; his worth is greater than mine, isn’t it?" Li Chunxi asked without looking up.
One sentence left Ling Feng speechless, and he spoke no more afterward.
The miniature spaceship flew swiftly, crossing the Equator in just three hours.
Close to the Australian continent, knowing the coast was clear of Devil Clan, Ling Feng still ordered the spaceship to lower altitude, and it landed several kilometers inland.
After storing the spaceship in the Space-capturing Mirror, Ling Feng looked at Li Chunxi all in red, "Wearing such a bright color is quite conspicuous, can you change?"
"Sure, one moment!"
Li Chunxi said, flipping her palm to summon a tent, shielding herself within.
Ling Feng was stunned by how fast that was!
Even in broad daylight, he could vaguely see her silhouette; she was currently unbuttoning, preparing to change outfits, which made Ling Feng quickly turn his back to the tent.
A chuckle came from behind, "Didn’t expect you to be a gentleman?"
Ling Feng: "..."
Moments later, Li Chunxi’s voice came, "Alright, I’m done changing!"
Ling Feng turned back to find her now wearing a goose-yellow gown.
This color wasn’t conspicuous in the desert, so Ling Feng nodded with satisfaction, "Great, let’s head inland!"
"Do you plan to walk or fly?" Li Chunxi asked.
"Fly, there’s still hundreds of kilometers to go, walking would take ages." Ling Feng said.
"Lead the way, I’ll follow!"
Li Chunxi nodded and lifted off directly!
Ling Feng flew into the air, following his handheld computer’s directions towards Australia Inland.
The journey was silent, in their flight the sun gradually sank westward.
Later, the sunlight vanished altogether, leaving the land in darkness.
Ling Feng glanced back and saw Li Chunxi following not far behind him without showing any fatigue, so he thought to himself, "This girl’s skills are decent, wonder what her combat abilities are like."
However, though he thought about it, he wasn’t inclined to directly provoke a fight with the Devil Clan here, just intended to understand why they occupied this area, whether gathering strength to invade other continents or merely recuperating here.
Understanding this would clarify how to treat the Devil Clan moving forward.
Upon reaching fifty kilometers away from the target, Ling Feng signaled Li Chunxi behind him, then landed on the ground.
Once landed, Li Chunxi asked, "We’re not there yet, why land now?"
"It’s close now, I want to sneak over quietly!" Ling Feng said.
"Oh, but that’s not like you, given your prowess, why fear alarming the Devil Clan?" Li Chunxi asked.
"I’m not here for a fight."
Ling Feng glanced at her, then continued, "Our goal is to first find some Devil Clan members, and inquire about the situation!"
