Alright.

The favorability had dropped by three points.

I had gone off the rails and said exactly what I felt, yet the result was a solid harvest. I only needed to keep doing the same thing.

"M-Messiah..."

[The heroine’s favorability has decreased.]

It hurt to be disliked by Phonia, but this much was acceptable.

I had been far too naive when dealing with the Princess.

From now on I would begin a proper anti-favorability strategy, starting with Sierra.

I must not forget that Sierra stood at the center of the group chat that had caused everything.

"No, it’s all right, Phonia. If it makes Gilmon feel better, I can endure even this."

Sierra spoke without ever letting the smile leave her lips.

"You met Her Highness Aisha Sinclair, didn’t you?"

She smiled a little wider at my reaction, as if she had already known the answer.

"Don’t worry. The thing Gilmon is most afraid of has not happened yet. But my own situation has become somewhat difficult."

Sierra stepped quietly closer and held out her phone.

"It’s Miriam. She watched over the Princess since she was a child. You could call her a nanny. She contacted me and asked whether there had been any suspicious activity from the Princess lately."

Sierra’s large black pupils locked onto mine without blinking.

The nightmare from the previous cycle rose unbidden in my mind.

’...Uh-uh, that’s not it. Gilmon, I’ll catch you if you lie, okay? I know one hundred and one of Gilmon’s lying habits.’

Under dim lighting Sierra had whispered those words while stacking heavy stone slabs across my thighs as I knelt.

It was the Japanese torture method called ishidaki.

’...I know one thousand and one ways to torture Gilmon. If you want to make me happy, keep your mouth shut, okay?’

Cold sweat formed as I remembered how every possible answer had only brought more pain.

"It has nothing to do with me..."

"I didn’t ask you anything, did I? Well, I don’t think I need to study Gilmon’s lying reactions anymore. You’re so transparent it’s almost cute."

Sierra giggled softly.

"I’m not the type who calls just any man cute. I only say it when I truly mean it. You understand what I mean, right?"

She turned away while speaking those strange words.

"I’ll stop here for today. I only came out to see your face. Even for me, hearing harsh words spoken directly still stings a little."

"How did you know I was here?"

"I simply had a feeling you would be. A woman’s intuition, perhaps?"

She framed it as a joke, yet it was clearly no coincidence.

That woman had probably already mapped out my behavior patterns.

Even though today’s outing with Phonia had been impulsive, the suspicion still lingered. Could Sophie be involved somehow?

"Let’s be honest since it’s only the two of us. I’m certain of it. Your strange skill forced the high-ranking Princess to submit to you. How about it, Gilmon? You’ve already conquered the Princess, haven’t you? I can tell without even seeing it. Anyone with a functioning brain can guess what you plan to do next."

Sierra spoke while lightly tapping her own temple.

"I’m sorry, but I’m not interested in anyone except Phonia. So... please leave me alone. Tell the other members of that group chat the same thing. The things those women are worried about will never, ever happen. Just leave me alone."

"G-Gilmon, ah! It hurts."

Overcome by emotion I pulled Phonia into a tight hug. I could barely feel her struggling against me.

"...Well, fine. I don’t know what your true intentions are, but I don’t believe a beast like you could ever truly love that pathetic child."

Sierra’s eyes narrowed as she looked between me and Phonia, her expression openly mocking.

She was tall for a woman, nearly matching my height. When she stopped smiling, her gaze turned cold enough to freeze the air.

"Phonia is not pathetic."

"Oh, her eyes are fairly decent. But what you really want is a woman’s body, isn’t it? Does Phonia hold any value as a woman? That’s why you used us the way you did, right?"

I could not answer while Sierra spoke. Every word she said was true.

"I don’t feel bad about it. I didn’t hate those times either. I still don’t fully understand it, but I was happy even while doing dirty, filthy things. That must be your ability, isn’t it? The power to turn women into perverted masochists who feel greater pleasure the more they are humiliated and hurt, the more their careers, lives, and personalities are destroyed."

A faint light of genuine joy flickered inside Sierra’s dark eyes. Her tone was condemning, yet I could tell she truly missed those days.

"Phonia, shall we meet again next time?"

Sierra took Phonia’s uninjured hand in her own and smiled while meeting her eyes. It was a soft, practiced smile that relaxed anyone who saw it. I noticed Phonia’s cheeks turning red.

Just before she left, Sierra looked at me clearly and spoke.

"Gilmon, you are a beast. You may call us bitches or sows or whatever you like. But remember this... you are a horny male dog and a male pig as well."

A long moment passed before I heard Phonia calling my name. Sierra had already vanished like a mirage.

"Gilmon... let’s go home now."

[Phonia Hazelnut]

[Trait: Fanatic]

[Personality: Gentle]

[Favorability: 38/100]

[Appropriate Favorability Max is 100.]

Phonia’s favorability had risen again.

She must have been moved by the words I spoke in front of Sierra.

’Phonia is not pathetic!’

Yet I could not escape the guilt.

The Princess and Sierra, those high-ranking women, looked down on Phonia as if the more they belittled her the more I would come to regret my choices.

The eye that had once worn the patch was improving, but there were still many things Phonia needed care for.

On the other side of that truth, I was still seriously shaken and swayed every time I faced the other heroines.

Part of it came from the pain I had suffered in the previous cycle, yet another part of me was simply excited by their bodies.

I could no longer deny it.

I am weak.
