Uh, it’s terrible… like a water-based jelly melted in my mouth… OH HELL—
After a second, Nicole turned to the side and vomited the blue mass onto the slime’s body. It took so long that she was getting tired of it.
Just how much of it did it stuff into my stomach? She wiped her lips with the back of her hand. Wait. My back and hands aren’t stuck to this piece of green shit?
With amazement, she looked at herself, especially her arm in the air. Then, she looked around. The slime seemed the same as before, but soon Nicole felt the thickness decreasing and the mass spreading back to the size it was before she tried to walk into it. At the same time, the slime started flowing forward again, slowly like at the start of their encounter. Sitting still, she was also carried along by the mass.
Huh? It… ignores me? Just as if nothing happened. Did it forget? Or is this because of what it did to me? But why isn’t it sticky anymore? Maybe… maybe after mating it now considers me not a threat anymore and therefore somehow stopped being sticky?
Nicole noticed her spear floating in the slime not far from her. At first, she tried to stand up, but the constant movement and unstable slime beneath made her fall onto the soft mass. So instead, Nicole crawled on all fours to her weapon and slowly pulled it out. Now, gripping it, I feel at least somewhat safer. But my goal remains the same…
Slowly, clutching her spear in one hand, she moved forward toward the middle of the slime. This time, with no resistance from the creature, it took her almost no effort. Soon, Nicole was right above the strange thing inside the slime’s body. Looking closely through the dark-green layers, she saw that it was a white cube the size of her fist. Without waiting long, Nicole plunged the spear through the mass, aiming at the cube. With a sound like breaking glass, the electric edge made the cube shatter into several pieces.
The slime stopped moving instantly, now just a big, cold piece of jelly on the ground. Nicole finally stood up with a sigh. "Great. Once again, I win against the strange nature of this island."
Despite the hardships of the morning, Nicole smiled. But it quickly disappeared when she realized that standing up made her two lower holes gush slime down her thighs.
"Ugh, how did I forget about this? Shit, it feels so strange." She decided to wait until it was all gone before doing anything else. To speed up the process, she spread her pussy with two fingers. "I guess that’s how all those characters in hentai feel after being stuffed with cum. Though it would be warmer in their case, I suppose."
A few minutes later, it finally ended, and Nicole walked a few meters away from the pile of slime. Seeing her, Mignon ran up to her, jumping around and barking. "Yeah, yeah, it’s great to see you too, man." Nicole affectionately petted the creature’s head. "Maybe fucking it turned out to be the best tactic in the end."
Now, what should I do with this? Well, that’s actually obvious. But first, cleaning and clothes.
She headed towards the river and after checking if there is any visible danger and finding none, slowly stepped into the water. Oh yes~ It's fucking incredible. She sat there for some time, letting water wash away any leftover slime off her. After that, Nicole went to where she had left her clothes and dressed up.
"Ugh, fuck!!" She held what was left of her skirt and pantyhose — small scraps that provided neither defense nor modesty anymore. This left her with no choice but to have her legs and everything below her shirt completely defenseless and naked.
After that, Nicole went back to the motionless creature. Touching the cold mass, she started absorbing it. But soon her material storage limit was full.
What? So fast? But I got, like, only a bucket of it. Ugh, I really have to find a way to measure my storage capacity. Welp, it’s not like I can force it to take more now. Not like it seems valuable anyway. But I know what might be.
She approached the place where shards of the cube were still floating in the goo. Now dead, it was even softer, enough for her to dig into it to get the shards. Holding them in her palm, there were two large parts and several smaller ones. All were pearly white and perfectly smooth on the sides of what was a cube, except where they had broken.
Well, I have no idea what it is, but I’m sure Soi or Iloe will know something. At least it’s considered a new material, so no issues here.
Nicole spent the next few hours at her cabin, resting. The fight had exhausted her both physically and mentally. From time to time, she glanced at the pool of slime not far from her house, afraid something might happen. During that time, she tried to make some kind of clothes out of plant vines, but they never held in place.
Shit! How do they do this in movies?
After a while, she gave up.
Alright, what next? First option — go back to the village ASAP and get something to replace my destroyed skirt. But on the other hand, what’s the point? It’s a tropical forest, it’s not really cold here. And it seems my defense was worse than I expected. Going back now would just be a waste of time. And maybe this will work for me just like it does for Tiralie? I wanted to get into dangerous situations anyway.
When Nicole felt ready, she went out of her cabin with her spear in hand, Mignon following behind. It was already early afternoon.
"What do you say, time to get us some fresh meat, right?" She glanced at him, and Mignon responded with a bark.
She decided to explore the area around her base — partly to be more aware of her surroundings and partly to avoid getting lost.
I wonder where that slime came from? No one ever mentioned anything like that, so maybe it’s rare? Or migrated from some far side of the island?
Nicole walked around the forest slowly, careful not to attract unwanted attention. At one point, she stumbled upon a small clearing filled with light-violet, cute, little flowers. Nicole took a few steps closer, but Mignon stopped and started growling at the field.
"Hey, what’s wrong? Those flowers don’t seem harmful." Nicole said, but decided not to get closer, stopping a meter away from the nearest flowers, admiring the view. "At least there are some beautiful things here, and not just monsters."
Just as she said that, some of the flowers nearby trembled, and after a second a walnut-sized insect, similar to a bee, rose up and flew into the forest. It had short black and white fur and seemed to completely ignore the presence of a human and a Krellip.
Damn, not even giant? I mean, those would be considered big on Earth, but here, after everything I’ve seen, it seems… underwhelming.
As Nicole stood still for several minutes, she saw more of the insects come and go, all heading toward the violet flowers. Okay, I can’t just stay here all day. And I wonder where they’re flying to. When she saw the next bee leave, she quietly followed it, keeping her distance just in case.
Some time later, Nicole saw the creature fly into a hole in a giant tree, big enough for a human to fit inside. As she got closer, she started hearing buzzing noises, and after a few more steps, she saw the same insects covering the hollow tree bark. Their constant movement made it impossible to count them.
Oh. Fuck.
Shocked, Nicole took a few cautious steps back. Hm… I remember Iloe talking about some valuable substance taken from the insects. She said their name was… Melanasp? I think. Well, I hope these guys are the ones. They act and look like bees, so it would make sense for them to make honey somewhere. If I manage to get some, Iloe will be happy.
She sat on the ground, trying to think of a plan to siege the tree stronghold. Alright, what do I have? A spear. Also, I can make some throwing knives out of bones. They won’t be weighted perfectly, but that can’t be helped. The bad thing is that it’ll take too much time to make them in the middle of a fight. What else… I can make Mignon throw rocks and get some of the attention off me. I have some retite left, but it’s too dangerous to ignite the tree — burning all the honey down would make this way less worth it.
With nothing else coming to mind, Nicole formed small, thin knives using the bones she had stored since the cave fight. Additionally, she gave a handful of rocks to Mignon.
"Buddy, listen. First, you throw the rocks inside." She pointed at the tree, hoping her pet would understand. "When you have none left, run away. Good?"
"BARK!!"
"Great." Nicole scratched his head before standing up. "Alright, now let’s see."
Looking from behind another tree, Nicole observed the creatures. One at a time, the bees went out of their giant tree toward the flowers, while others came back inside. It seemed endless. Observation done. I don’t think they have a lunch break or something. I don't know what I expected.
With a sigh, Nicole walked closer, spear in her left hand and one of the knives in the other. "Let’s get this party started!" She threw the first knife into the hole, quickly grabbing the next one. As soon as she did, the whole giant tree started to hum and buzz. After just a few seconds, bees poured out of the hole in a living stream, and the ones already in the air quickly joined them, ignoring Nicole. In seconds, two things happened — the hole was sealed with bees, completely blocking the entryway, and in front of it appeared a different type of insect. Judging by the same color patterns, they were clearly the same species, just a few times bigger, with large stingers and mandibles.
Oh shit, there’s like… what, sixteen of them? I should’ve thought that bees have different castes and warrior-types. Well, too late.
At first, they just hovered in the air, all staring at Nicole, but their patience soon ran out as they rushed forward. Nicole responded by throwing another knife, hitting one and making it fall with a crushed head.
Gripping her spear in both hands now, she used the few seconds they needed to close in to assume a fighting stance. As soon as the first got close enough, she swung her weapon, electric sparks flashing as she cut it in half.
They’re not as strong as I thought.
As she continued to run around, trying to reach the bees while dodging their attacks, Mignon threw rocks at them. He didn’t hit much — most of his rocks missed. At one point, one of the rocks hit Nicole’s arm, making her miss her target.
"Ow!" The bees gladly used the opportunity, and Nicole felt stingers on her skin. "Fuck!" She swung around, hitting and killing two while others escaped out of range in time.
They can’t hit me in most places thanks to the clothes — their stingers are too thick to pierce them. But thanks to that fucking slime, I lost half my defense. And it hurts like hell, especially on my ass. But manageable for now.
Nicole looked around. The insects moved constantly around her like a cloud, searching for an angle to attack. Whenever one dared to get closer, she instantly reacted — the bee was either killed or retreated. It took some time, but slowly their number dropped to four. Before Nicole could even think of victory, the remaining bees retreated back toward the tree.
They surrendered and now retreat? Please, I hope so I am tired already. And my legs are all bitten by those bastarts.
The entrance hole, still blocked by the smaller bees, started moving as more crawled out, leaving a gap. Through it, a giant bee emerged, and the gap was sealed again.
Fucking great. Nicole sighed as she scratched a bruise on her ass.
The newcomer was even bigger — easily twice the size of the guards, wingless, with mandibles almost as large as its body. Suddenly, white liquid poured out of its mouth onto the grass. The four guards sat down around it, while Nicole stared, stunned.
What the fuck?! Are they drinking this thing? Fucking gross! Wait, I can’t just let them do whatever they want in the middle of a fight! Taking her last two knives, she threw them at the bees — one missed, but the other hit a guard, making it fall and twitch helplessly before dying. The other three stopped, then took to the air again, flying straight at Nicole.
