It is strange to see Savage Beasts retreat in battle...

From what every inhabitant in the Elemental Garden knew, the beings in the Bleeding Kingdom only knew bloodshed, and so, regardless of how daunting a battle was for them, they never retreated.

But they did today.

Standing with both arms broken and hanging limp on his side, Kaden watched as the Blood Hounds retreated in haste.

The reason, of course, was that Kaden had killed one of their leaders. Pseudo-Primordials aren’t complete Primordials, but they are also far stronger than Celestials.

To kill one would take a lot. In the history of the Primus Universe, only a selected few were able to kill a Pseudo-Primordial while below that rank.

But for a Demigod to kill one, it had never happened before... well, it had happened before, during the Primordial Era, when Klaus’s first incarnation killed one of the Void Generals, who was a Pseudo-Primordial.

But that kill was only possible because the Void General was already severely injured.

This time, however, he killed a Pseudo-Primordial with nothing but a single arrow.

That was just mind-bending.

But then again, one would ask, what went into killing such a monstrosity? For a Demigod to kill such a monster, he must have unleashed a powerful trump card.

It is indeed true because Kaden had unleashed a powerful trump card.

However, being able to harness the absolute power of the elements isn’t something to scoff at. The most chilling part is that all sixteen elemental runes had been imbued into an arrow forged using the infamous [God Killing Arrow] technique.

Aside from that, four of the runes, while also absolute, were of a much higher class. They came from Primordial Flame Spirits, making them something else entirely.

Under normal circumstances, his body should have become limp by now. The power behind that attack wasn’t something a Demigod was supposed to be able to harness.

But Kaden knew that, and that was why he first activated the [God of War Art]. He knew he had to enhance his body, and that was the only reason he was still standing with a straight back and a smile on his face.

"Well, damn, big brother, I never knew you could do that," Pickle Berry said, looking back at Kaden. The Kaden she knew was a talent beyond anyone, but even he wasn’t at the stage where he could unleash such power.

This Kaden is on another level.

Of course, back then, Kaden wasn’t someone in possession of the God of War Art, or even of extensive knowledge of bowmanship.

Today, he possesses both skills and, on top of that, a Dao of his own.

Yet still, killing a Pseudo-Primordial is way out of his league. But he had achieved it, and the effect was now plain as day.

In no time, the thousands of bloodhounds were no more. They had all retreated back to the Bleeding Kingdom, leaving Kaden and his people to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Well, things could have gotten chaotic," Kaden said, looking at the broken limbs of his colossal frame. He then willed it, and the God of War Art deactivated.

"I guess you have everything under control," Anna said, appearing beside Kaden. She pressed her palm against his chest, and Kaden immediately felt all his internal injuries heal at once.

In no time, he was as good as new.

Anna may not be her sister Lucy, who is known for her healing arts, but she can also use her water and ice elements to heal.

"Thank you."

Anna turned and looked at the battlefield, now littered with dead Blood Hounds, and smiled. "I guess you all have your work cut out for you."

Kaden nodded. "It appears so. However, we are already halfway to our destination, so if all goes well, we will be leaving this godforsaken place behind soon.

But for now, let’s just hope that killing a Pseudo-Primordial will finally deter them from sending more savages after us."

"I am sure them retreating is a good sign. But you’d better keep your guard up." Since her time inside the Elemental Garden was limited, she was making sure Kaden and his people had everything under control first.

"Rest assured, we will be extra vigilant."

After a few minutes of talking, Anna bid everyone goodbye and vanished from sight, leaving nothing but ice particles behind...

"Well then, we should get going before the savages return."

They also left the scene and continued on their way, still traversing the narrow border between the Bleeding Kingdom and the Ant Desert.

Meanwhile, back in the Primus Universe, inside a spaceship speeding toward a planet somewhere in the Beast Universe, Anna materialized from particles of ice.

The moment she appeared, her sisters surrounded her.

"How did it go? Are they safe?" they asked, having been made aware by Anna before she left that Aria had summoned her.

They knew Aria and her sisters had escorted Kaden into the Elemental Garden, so they asked, eager to learn more about the status of their sisters.

"Relax, sisters, they are fine... In fact, they are doing better than you think. I think Aria summoned me just so we wouldn’t worry about them."

Hearing Anna’s words, the ladies all sighed. Some of them were inside Asha’s Insert Domain and Nadia’s Puppet Workshop. However, the few inside the spaceship now breathed calmly, knowing they had nothing to worry about.

"So, did you manage to get a general idea of the place they have found themselves in?" Queenie asked.

"Yes. It is not a world in this universe, for sure. Aside from that, I think it is a very dangerous place, but also one filled with many opportunities. If they play their cards right, all of them will return much stronger versions of themselves."

Anna smiled and revealed what had happened. "I personally witnessed Klaus kill a Pseudo-Primordial in what could be considered a small battle in this universe. If such a battle can produce a Pseudo-Primordial, who is to say they won’t encounter even greater opportunities later?"

"You make it sound like meeting a Pseudo-Primordial is a normal thing..." Vida said, shaking her head.

"When it comes to Klaus, anything is normal."
