The plan was simple...

With the Doomsday Cauldron having the ability to trap even a Primordial, Kaden had to find a way to trap Blood Savage inside.

Once he was inside, Bloodwork, who had already broken the second seal on himself, would activate the Blood Puppet Refinement Formation. This technique was one he had awakened after breaking the second seal.

Klaus never really got to explore the impossible abilities Bloodwork possessed. In fact, during his seventh incarnation, they only spent less than 400 years together before he reincarnated, so his deadly scythe was never truly exploited to its full potential.

But that was no longer an issue, since two of the nine seals had already been broken.

So with the Blood Puppet Refinement Formation, they would try to refine Blood Savage while he was still alive.

Their confidence, however, came from three things...

The first was the hundreds of soul runes the Doomsday Cauldron had refined from the people it had trapped inside its Doomsday Domain back when they were inside the Jade Nest.

He had been refining these runes for a while now, so he was confident he could use them to at least weaken Blood Savage. Of course, he wasn’t about to beat his chest and claim that he alone was enough to handle a Pseudo-Primordial.

That was where Kaden came in.

He was a Paragon with a unique soul. His soul wasn’t like everyone else’s, so it could be said that it could easily suppress others. Again, his soul alone wasn’t enough, but it was strong enough to restrict Blood Savage.

But the two weren’t enough.

Thankfully, Kaden could harness at least 20% of the True Forbidden Blood and Flame Dao that Rhazor had awakened.

This dao was the trump card they were all counting on to fully suppress Blood Savage long enough for the Blood Puppet Refinement Formation to link with his soul.

The first two steps were a success.

The formation was active, and with Kaden and Doomsday unleashing their soul powers, Blood Savage was now being suppressed.

"How long?" Doomsday asked, forming complex hand seals as he sent one soul rune after another into Blood Savage’s soul.

"Almost there," Bloodwork replied, also forming complex hand seals.

Icon, however, wore a pondering expression as she gazed at Blood Savage, who was struggling to break free. A few seconds into her contemplation, a dark thought entered her mind.

She immediately reached out to Kaden, who was also nearing his limit, judging by the pale expression that had begun to appear on his face.

[Master, we are almost there. However, for some reason, I feel like we will fail. But I have a solution—one that I need your permission before I dare use it.]

’Whatever it is, do it, Icon. We cannot afford to fail here.’

Without even hearing what Icon had to say, Kaden gave her the go-ahead. In fact, she already knew Kaden wouldn’t mind. But she asked out of politeness.

Icon smiled and waved her hand, summoning a golden blood essence. The moment the blood essence appeared, the space inside the Doomsday Cauldron was shrouded in a foreign energy, the kind that caused Blood Savage to stop struggling for a moment.

Soon, however, dread descended upon him, and he intensified his struggle. Unfortunately for him, Icon had already made her move...

This particular blood essence came from the most refined version of the Star Monarch Bloodline. It was one of the three essences Icon had managed to refine before they embarked on this mission.

It had been extracted and merged with a bloodline from the Bloodline Tree. This version, however, bore the legacy of someone whom Klaus, Icon, and Atomic did not know.

All they knew was that the bloodline came from someone who had been a Domain Lord long before existence came into being. This person possessed so much power that they couldn’t even begin to comprehend its extent.

She allowed the bloodline to merge with Blood Savage, and at the same time, she activated the True Forbidden Blood and Flame Dao, suppressing him completely.

Bloodwork used the opening to send the Blood Puppet Refinement Formation into Blood Savage’s soul. For a few moments, there was a fierce struggle.

However, things soon settled down, and then a red cocoon formed around him, signaling their success. The rest, however, would depend on how powerful the blood essence and the Blood Puppet Refinement Formation truly were.

On the outside, Kaden was completely drained, so he summoned the Demon Bead.

"You four have to guard this for as long as I am unconscious. If there is an attack, summon the others to aid you.

If it comes down to it, detonate the full form of the Primordial Lotus of Destruction."

Kaden instructed, handing the Demon Bead to Nirvana. He then vanished inside, barely holding onto his consciousness by a thread. His soul was completely drained...

After he was gone, Nirvana put away the Demon Bead and summoned a formation around them. If they had to guard the bead, then they might as well guard it with everything they had.

Inside the Demon Bead, Kaden collapsed the moment he appeared. His triplet wives, who had already been worried about him, rushed to his side and helped him onto a bed inside the mansion he and Icon had built.

They would stand guard and also do their best to heal him while he remained unconscious.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Ant Desert, a man with dark metallic skin, three eyes, and antennae on his forehead narrowed his eyes as he looked toward the location where Kaden and Blood Savage had fought.

He was one of the Overlords of the Ant Desert.

He, along with the others, had witnessed the battle, and regardless of how they looked at it, it simply didn’t make sense. A Demigod and a Pseudo-Primordial fighting for three hours without a winner was just too shocking.

For a moment, he felt the urge to go and see what had happened to Kaden, since right now, aside from the four Primordial Flame Spirits, whom he was wary of, both Kaden and Blood Savage were nowhere to be found.

"What an interesting fellow..."
