Arron tensed up as he looked at Chelsea, who was staring up at him with sparkling eyes.

“It’s an honor to meet you! To think I get to meet the Great Hero in person like this! It feels like a dream!”

“Uh, y-yeah. I-I’m happy to meet you too.”

“Huh?!”

“W-what? Why?”

Arron panicked at the sight of Chelsea inhaling sharply and going rigid with her mouth hanging open.

“Leo! Arron-nim said he’s happy to meet me!”

Chelsea clutched her cheeks, looking like she didn’t know what to do, and Arron scratched his cheek.

“Are you that happy to meet me?”

“Of course! You’re the Great Hero who saved this world! Thank you so much! Really—thank you for saving the world!”

At her spotless, bright smile, Arron’s eyes widened.

Chelsea looked a little flustered as she saw Arron staring at her face.

Arron smiled.

“Yeah.”

He reached out and gently patted Chelsea’s head.

Chelsea’s eyes went round.

“Thank you for saying that.”

Chelsea looked up at Arron’s faint smile, then broke into a bashful grin.

“Arron-nim! Me too! Pet me too!”

“Yeah, yeah.”

When Ar abruptly shoved her head forward, Arron laughed and patted her head.

Watching that, Carr spoke up.

“Hey, Chelsea. I’m saying this just in case, but the fact that Instructor Arkan is Arron-nim—”

“I know. I know enough not to tell other people. Who do you think I am, an idiot?”

Chelsea scoffed in a slightly haughty tone.

“Still, there’s something I’m curious about.”

Lunia looked troubled as she spoke.

“How did you end up appearing in the present at all, Arron-nim?”

“Through something called a Hero Record.”

“Like how Luna-nim and Seiren-nim appeared in the present?”

Arron nodded, and Driana crossed her arms.

“Then I have another question. Why do you remember Leo and Ar, but you don’t remember us?”

“I’m not sure about that.”

Arron shook his head.

After thinking, Lunia raised a finger.

“Could it be because only Leo and Ar entered Arron-nim’s world?”

“That actually sounds plausible.”

Carr rubbed his chin.

“I think that’s probably it. We met Arron-nim in Master Dweno’s world. When Luna-nim appeared in Seiren, she definitely remembered me.”

Lunia spoke while recalling Luna’s figure as she fought Zerdiac in Seiren.

Arron looked impressed.

“You’re smart. You really reminded me of Luna.”

“Oh, come on.”

“And your personality seems just like hers too!”

“What an honor.”

Lunia looked shy at Arron’s words.

Hearing that, Ar shouted,

“Arron-nim! Don’t be fooled! Arron-nim, you’re being deceived!”

“Huh? About what?”

“This sly pointy-ear is putting on an act. Don’t fall for it!”

Driana spoke seriously with her arms crossed, and Ar nodded enthusiastically.

“That’s right, Arron-nim! Comparing benevolent Luna-nim to this violent elf is an insult to Luna-nim!”

“You little—!”

With sparks flying in her eyes, Lunia wrapped both arms around Ar and Driana’s necks and choked them.

Of course, the two of them were physically stronger than Lunia, so they didn’t stop running their mouths.

“She really is a straight-up thug—urk!”

Carr, who’d been snickering and teasing, folded over after taking a kick to the stomach.

“Honestly, comparing Lunia to Luna-nim is a bit—”

“Eiran! You too?!”

Just as Lunia’s glare grew more murderous—

Arron burst out laughing as he watched.

“Yeah. Seeing that makes it certain. Even her personality is exactly the same.”

“…What?”

“Huh?”

“What do you mean…?”

Everyone stared at Arron with blank faces.

“What kind of person is the Luna you all know?”

“Well… benevolent, broad-minded… like a gentle goddess.”

Eiran answered with a shocked face, and Arron tilted his head.

“Luna isn’t benevolent, and she’s not particularly broad-minded either. And gentle? Goddess?”

The descriptions didn’t fit Luna at all.

Arron’s expression turned strange, and by the end he was even slightly frowning.

“N-no way! That can’t be true!”

Faced with the shocking reality, Lunia grabbed her head and denied it outright.

(T/N: HAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)

“Hey, Leo. You met Luna-nim with Lunia in the Heroes’ World. What was she like?”

At Carr’s question, Leo hesitated for a moment, then answered.

“A childish tomboy?”

“You—don’t insult Luna-nim!”

“You saw it too.”

“That was when Luna-nim was young and innocent! There’s no way Luna-nim has a personality like mine! No way she’s like me!”

Lunia screamed as she rejected reality, and Leo looked at her with pity.

“So you know your personality’s bad!”

“Yeah. As expected of Seiren’s representative. She seems to know herself well.”

At Carr’s admiration, Chelsea nodded along.

“You little—!”

When Lunia charged with sparks in her eyes, Chelsea immediately grabbed Carr and used him as a shield.

“Hey! What are you doing, Chelsea?!”

“Friend shield.”

“Hey—hey?! Aaaagh?!”

Carr’s scream echoed.

At the credible testimony straight from the Great Hero’s mouth, Leo looked refreshed.

'It won’t be long before Luna’s true nature gets exposed.'

===

“Waaah! I can’t believe I was being taught by the Brave Hero!”

Chelsea still looked thrilled, like her heart was pounding.

“Hmph! To be genuinely happy about receiving Arron-nim’s teachings… you may be a mage, but you’re reasonable, Chelsea. Who’s your favorite Great Hero?”

Ar puffed up proudly, and Chelsea answered without hesitation.

“Kyle, the Hero of Beginning. Next time, I should ask Arron-nim about Kyle!”

At Chelsea’s answer, Ar’s face drooped.

“Still, I’m shocked Luna-nim had that kind of personality.”

“Seriously. And since it came from the Great Hero himself… that means she’s as cranky as Lunia, right?”

Carr rubbed his chin at Chelsea’s words.

Even while staying on guard in case Lunia pounced again, Lunia still hadn’t recovered from the shock.

Back in Master Dweno’s world, they hadn’t been able to ask detailed questions about the Great Heroes out of concern it might affect their strategy.

'So we were maintaining our illusions in our own way, and today they got shattered.'

While Leo clicked his tongue, Driana asked Eiran,

“By the way, Eiran. You don’t seem that shocked.”

“Huh? About what?”

“About Luna-nim’s personality resembling Lunia’s.”

“Lunia can be a bit intense, but she’s still a very righteous elf.”

Eiran smiled brightly.

“Besides, Arron-nim said it himself, didn’t he? That Luna-nim was extremely curious and always sincere about magic. I can picture what kind of person she was. Confident in everything, always proud and dignified… I’m sure she was amazing.”

At Eiran’s words, Lunia’s ears twitched.

“Yeah. If she had a personality like mine, she must’ve beaten up all the bad guys. Yeah.”

Starting to think more positively, Lunia began to calm down.

Watching her, Leo remembered Luna—how she’d get carried away with praise and turn unbearably cocky, then spiral endlessly when things didn’t go her way.

Thinking about the past, Leo said,

“Go on ahead. I’ll catch up.”

As Leo headed into the bushes, Eiran approached.

“Should I come with you?”

“If you follow me, that’ll be a bit troublesome.”

“Huh? What does that—ah! S-sorry!”

Eiran flushed bright red and stumbled back in a panic.

Overthinking Leo’s vague answer on her own, Eiran let out a “Haa!” and covered her face.

As Leo went in, Dragon En—who looked exactly like Leo—lowered his head from up in the tree.

“Welcome, Leo-nim.”

“Please.”

“Understood.”

En, taking Leo’s place, slipped out of the bushes.

“Huh? You’re back already?”

“I thought I saw something wrong for a second.”

When Carr asked with a puzzled face, En—wearing Leo’s face—shrugged.

After having En cover for him, Leo immediately returned to Arron.

Arron was already staring up at the night sky, now filled with starlight.

-You really like the night sky.

Kirran appeared and muttered with his arms crossed.

“I guess he doesn’t get tired of it.”

Fiora, now in human form, looked intrigued as she went, “Crunch-” and chewed on candy.

-You keep that up and you’ll turn into a pig again.

Kirran teased, but Fiora didn’t care.

-You wouldn’t understand.

That was when Elci spoke.

-For someone born in the age of calamity, the beauty of this night sky… is beyond imagination.

Elci smiled softly.

Walking up to Arron, Leo asked,

“Did you have a nightmare? Why did you suddenly transform earlier?”

“I don’t know. I think I smelled something strange. Did anything happen while I was asleep?”

“There was an earthquake.”

“Was it because of that?”

Even as he tilted his head, Arron spoke again.

“That girl, Chelsea… she reminded me of the kids at the orphanage.”

“Chelsea’s still got a naive side.”

Even though she was only a year younger, she was more innocent than the other students.

But she was also surprisingly sharp when it mattered.

“So? Did it hit you all over again that you really did save the world?”

“Yeah. I could feel that my wish came true.”

Arron smiled brightly.

Chelsea didn’t know it herself, but the greeting she gave had saved Arron.

“So now I want to find it.”

After coming to the future and seeing what he wanted, Arron found a new goal.

“What you told me. Something I want to do for myself.”

“Yeah.”

“How much time do I have left?”

“……”

At Arron’s question, Leo fell silent.

'When Luna came to the present from the Heroes’ World, she couldn’t stay long.'

Unlike Luna, Arron had been staying in this era for a long time.

The reason was simple.

'Luna used an enormous amount of Mana to bring down Zerdiac and Sillatna.'

So the Divine Power that made up Luna’s body was consumed at a tremendous rate.

Unlike Luna, Arron was barely using Aura.

That was why his Divine Power was being consumed more slowly.

'If he joins even one battle… Arron will disappear too.'

“Enjoy it as much as you can, this peace.”

“Yeah.”

Arron nodded with a smile.

“Ah! There’s something I want to do.”

Arron stood up and grinned brightly.

“You said Fairy King Silload is still alive, right? I want to meet Silload!”

“Good idea. Silload will be happy too.”

===

Opening a warp to Fairy Land through Melina wasn’t difficult.

-Welcome, Leo Plov. The king has been waiting for Leo Plov’s visit.

It was a land of fairies where outsiders couldn’t set foot freely, but Leo and Arron were welcomed with open arms.

Guided by the fairies, Leo headed for the Fairy King’s residence.

-Too bad Kirran couldn’t come. It’s his hometown.

Elci muttered from Leo’s shoulder.

“What can you do? He’s an exile.”

Kirran was depressed that he couldn’t return home.

“It’s karma.”

-Wow! Fiora! You’re getting good at using difficult words!

“Ahem!”

Fiora, stuck close to Leo, put her hands on her hips and lifted her chin.

Inside the Fairy King’s residence, only Silload was there.

-Truly… it’s you, Arron.

“Been well? You’re still a crybaby.”

-And you’re still a coward, Arron.

Silload flew up in front of Arron and wiped away tears.

Arron smiled warmly at Silload, then suddenly looked puzzled.

“What is it?”

When Leo asked with a puzzled look, Arron said,

“No, it’s just… there’s a strange smell coming from Silload.”

Seeing Arron frown slightly, Silload spoke.

-Ah. It’s probably because of that.

“That?”

-Yes.

Silload nodded heavily.

-A fragment of Erebos.
